I never imagined how rewarding it would be to witness someone experience for the first time the music that's been in my soul for more than 30 years. Reminder that some things are simply timeless and universal.
I'M A 50 YR OLD BLACK MAN. FLOYD IS, HAS, AND ALWAYS WILL BE MY FAVORITE GROUP OF ALL TIMES NO MATTER THE GENRE. THIS IS AKA "STONER MUSIC", IT ALWAYS PUTS YOU IN A PEACEFUL SPACE. NO MATTER WHAT SPACE YOU ARE CURRENTLY IN. PINK FLOYD WILL ALWAYS BRING FORTH PEACE, CALM, RELAXED STATE OF BEING.
If you REALLY want to binge and do something different... do a Pink Floyd album reaction. Dark Side of the Moon, each song flows into the next so the entire album is like one long song. And it is one of the greatest albums of all time. Call it a concept album, released 1973
Pinnk Floyd is meant to be listened to by the album not the song, so if you do a binge, be sure to go cover to cover on a full album. Dark side of the Moon is a great starting point, but you can't go wrong with DSotM, Wish You Were Here, Animals, or The Wall.
It isn't possible to 'casually' listen to a Pink Floyd song. You are either engaged brain and soul or you're in a completely different room. So glad you are enjoying your journey. Keep it up. =)
When I saw you react to "A Lead Role In A Cage" I knew it right then and there, you where getting it, you wasn't just listening to Pink Floyd, you are actually hearing it. The music Is great awesome BUT the words the words man they have so much meaning, I'm at a lost for words just how deep they go man. I have to sub to you I got to see all your videos, catch ya later...
I vote for the binge!

"2 lost souls swimming in a fish bowl..." one of my favorite lyrics ever
“Did you exchange a walk on part in a war for a lead role in a cage” is the best lyrics ever written...Fact.
You're just scratching the surface. You have no idea dude where you're about to go. It's exciting
Darkside of the moon album reaction!
You either like Pink Floyd, or you never really listened to them.
Ohio Stadium, Division Bell Bell tour 115,000 people singing this, alot of folks cried. I'd never forget that

When my grandma died I locked myself in my room for 6 hours and listened to this on repeat.
I live watching your face as you listen.

I've listened to this song at least 1 million times. Every time I hear it, my heart changes beat and it sings to my soul.
Been listening to Floyd since the late 70s, possibly my favourite band of all time.
