Pink Floyd - Marooned
Best instrumental song that I've ever seen
@@PedroHenrique-bp8ts lol.. That was a good one.. Yes its epic.. Sound and image
RIP Professor Stephen Hawking.
"Us and Them" and "On the Turning Away" You will not regret the truth.
He’s making those sounds with his guitar and his mouth! Perfection!
Not the guitar, just the talkbox and the mic.
I honestly would love to see you react to the entire Dark Side of the Moon album. I would 100% enjoy to watch an hour long video with you and watch you realize that you need to experience that album from start to finish. Just one 43 minute long song.
that's a great idea
Totally agree. That would be perfect
it´s a must
Yes! A hypnotic experience!
THE Greatest album of all time. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This song meant a lot to me when I was younger, and basically said the things I was feeling that I couldn't say myself, when I was suffering from severe social anxiety. I'm glad that part of my life is behind me.
Havent seen a comment about this so I'm gonna share this: the voice at the beggining is late Stephen Hawking. He actually wanted to contribute to this album, as his favourite band was Pink Floyd, so the guys let him speak on this beautiful song, and recorded him.
Actually I’m afraid that’s inaccurate, the Hawking clips are from a BT (British Telecom) advert that hawking had lent his voice to. Gilmour chose to sample it as the advert itself in it’s entirety had brought him to tears.
@@HardcaseStewart This is correct
"For millions of years mankind lived just like animals
Then something happened which unleashed the power of our imagination
We learned to talk" Stephen Hawking
How stupid this Hawking is, "something beyond imagination" He never heard of Gospel of John ? Sound and vibration baby...u fuckin so called phisician :))
What a mind. R.I.P. Sir.
We are the cave man! Dig deeper my friend! 🌵
"Echoes" live in Pompeii next pls ❤🤘🎸💋
Donna Ransom I second that!
or live in gdansk by gilmour
Donna Ransom my first “trip”!!!! Omg yes!
I live next to Pompei..
That is amazing I wish!
ECHOES full versión pleaaaasssseeeeee🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I am waiting for that reaction. Especially if he does the live at Pompeii
@@grantdumas4076 no not the live at Pompeii
definitely Echoes
@@daan260 live at Pompeii was great
@@Kuro-wb8ue sure, but the album version is way better imo.
Yes, Echoes, live at Pompeii. Preston has to go there.
Yes! Pompeii! Excellent concert!
This song on a surround system=BOMB! One of my favorite Pink Floyd songs!
React to Echoes please!
But also:
Us and them
Sheep
One of these days
Brain damage/Eclipse
Money (full version not the clip)
Breathe
Have a cigar
Mother
Shine on you crazy diamond part 6-9
Pink floyd still has alot to please your soul.
and Breast Milky..
Forget us and them. That song will put u to sleep. Never understood why so many people like that song
Don't forget Fearless and one of these days
Pigs (Three Different Ones), Atom Heart Mother, and One of These Days (studio). It's so hard to pick, isn't it? LOL
Peace
Joseph The reason you stated is the reason why
Underrated as far as Floyd songs go, glad it’s been getting more attention lately.
As a life long fan of Pink floyd, the music they have made over the decades, enjoy it.. it trully is a blessing....
My sentiments exactly their music tends to elevate your creative juices, it raises me to a higher level of consciousness and I feel like I need that at times
Pink Floyd - Young Lust!! Gotta do that one sometime
Love to see Empty Spaces and then into Young Lust works so well, that transition is amazing.
Oh god no. The Wall is great as a whole, but most of the songs outside of the context, on their own, are quiet weak compared to a lot of other PF songs.
TheAskald I kinda agree. Maybe not weak but they just fit weird as solo songs since the Walll is a story. Listen from to back and the story unfolds. I’d love to watch Preston do an entire album review.
@@danielkinn7621 Yes, reacting to isolated tracks from The Wall doesn't make any sense if Preston doesn't know the concept behind it.
@@SCTDavies together with what shall we do now!
React to "Wearing the Inside out", by Pink Floyd from the same album "The Division Bell".
The vocals on this song is done by the late Richard Wright, Pink Floyd's genius keyboardist.
my fav

Damn... I was about to write the same thing
Pink Floyd ft Stephen Hawking. I was blown away by this when I first heard it years ago. PF transports you to another dimension. Great reaction 👍👍
Proffessor stephen hawkings on a pink floyd song, genius on genius.
Dam I forgot about this song, man I haven’t heard this in forever! Great pic brotha. On the Turning Away when u get around to it, it won’t disappoint.
Pink Floyd too good!!! Pink Floyd too good!!!
they never fail. this song gave my soul goose bumps. by far one of my favorites
There will never be anyone who can even come close to this band!! My mother and father listened to them while my mom was pregnant and I have listened to them all of my life. They are the greatest band in all of history!! I’m so happy that you give others the opportunity to hear them for the first time!! Much love and respect Preston!!🤘🏻🖤
Echoes!
Great! Pink Floyd is unique. Another great progressive rock band is Rush. Many musicians are influenced by Rush. The power trio! Please react to YYZ. The version live in Rio. The crowd is incredible. 100 k people singing an instrumental song!
An absolute golden era.. 1960s - 1990s
This guy really likes music, and he FEELS it. He's a great reactor!
That voice at the beginning of the song is Stephen Hawkings speaking. Our Albert Einstein of today
he is dead.
Pierre Guyader He wasn’t when he did this 🙄
@@scottcrosby-art5490 1995 when the album was released
@@Floyd690 yeah he's dead now. He wasn't dead in 1994 when this album was released
wayne stunbo It was released in 94
PORCUPINE TREE is the closest thing to Pink Floyd.Steven Wilson the leader/founder of the band is genius, you should listen to this great underrated band. Try the song ARRIVING SOMEWHERE BUT NOT HERE for start.
or even better: ruclips.net/video/MSEQZ8reJA4/видео.html
Good call!
@@inkubuzz or Voyage 34 even more close to Pink Floyd. A masterpiece album.
I'd throw "The Sky Moves Sideways" in there also!
yeees PT man, I wouldn't say they're underrated because everyone who knows about them loves them, they're just underpopular lol
side note. steven wilson is a god everything he touches is bliss
It's Pink Floyd everything they create is pretty much epic
The fact that you barely interrupted the song spoke volumes, thank you.
David Gilmour - On an Island, or The Blue ✨✨✨
Luv Tool , but there not in Floyd’s league .....
Idk, it might save music , our boy Preston has a damn good idea, and Tool as as genius as Floyd is. Different times my friend
This the type a shit I can rock w all day long! It makes watching your reviews that much better, to me personally when the songs are from my all time favorite ever! And yes! Tool and pink floyd would be absolutely incredible ♡♡♡♡♡♡
Yes Preston. Pink Floyd is otherworldly perfection. Pure expression and escape and all possibility.
Comfortably Numb from PULSE
Patrick Jude yes!!!!! I can’t believe he hasn’t seen the show! The show is as great as the music!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏
WEAK
The best ever !!!!!! 25 yrs later it still blows me away every time I watch comfortably numb live at Earls Court pulse 1994 😍😍😍
A must see for Floyders
REACT TO Comfortably Numb PULSE 1994, greatest guitar solo. Ever. You will never hear a better guitar solo.
stevie ray vaughn texas flood live at mocambo = better solo
I was at that concert in Detroit! Greatest concert EVER!
truth. was there in Montreal
@@thatsriiight5047 great solo, it's just not my preferred guitar style. But SRV was one hell of a player!
@@thatsriiight5047 ... That was pure Fire from SRV that night. Just Fire
Seeing people react to Pink Floyd puts a smile on my face. I remember listening to the local classic rock station when this premiered in 94. I actually recorded it to a cassette tape, lol. I was able to see them in concert that May. If I had one concert to relive over and over, it would be Pink Floyd. No contest. Flawless Victory! lol! It was truly an experience. Especially to an impressionable teenager. 😊
Keep talking what a master piece pink floyd never fail to amaze me like, comment, share. 🤘🤘👍👍
You have to do Pink Floyd - Us And Them it's so 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Echoes, Have a Cigar or Mother. Oh Yeah I forgot Sheep!
Or if you want to delve into the stranger areas, Careful with that Axe,Eugene
Always was a groovy f’ing tune. One of my faves. They just give ya the feels.
goodbye blue sky is my favorite pink floyd song. its my ringtone for crying out loud!!! lol
Dude, Echoes is waiting for you, trust me!
Trust us!
Bro, your head will explode listening to Echoes.
Careful With That Axe Eugene- Ummagumma album( live version)
Great song... and album.. how about saucer full of secrets ...
This one and Learning to Fly had my attention for a couple years.
LOL!!!! "Even the guitar..MMMMMM!" Love it! :)
bro.. as you see subtitled videos of tool songs, you need to see live performance of pink floyd. Their songs are so much better in lives than studio versions and the light shows are speechless.. Comfortably Numb is an OK studio song, but the version of the PULSE concert is my favourite song ever so far xD High Hopes on Gdansk concert has a really beautiful solo.. keep talking on PULSE show take a really nicer talkbox part on the solo. Pink Floyd are master on improvisation and they preform the best live shows you could find xD. their concert are a ceremony about music
8:04 how quickly you forgot about "Dogs".
Ryan Luna he needs to hear Pigs as well
@@zachcampbell3229 and Sheep!
He needs to just react to the Animals album. The End!! :)
I guess he needs to start listening to pink floyd songs from See Emily Play up to Louder than Words to understand that there is no other band to top PF.
I love Division Bell but its nowhere near as good as their older stuff and certainly not animals which i think is one of their best
I have discovered and subbed your channel recently, and am now myself reliving my youth through your reaction videos. I see in you, myself 30 years ago, listening to, dissecting and studying the musical genius that is the music of that Progressive Rock era of Pink Floyd, Genesis (Phil Collin era, fav for me), Yes, and Rush.
I can't fathom someone who appreciates and loves the Floyd the way you do, won't also be just as captivated by the bands named above, all in the same Progressive Rock era, buts still, like pink Floyd, way ahead of their time, yet still unique in their own right.
King, welcome to our World! We are the followers of the great, Pink Floyd. They rule! So soft, so hard, so dreamy, so trippy. Rock on, rock on!
Think *you're ready* for *VERY EARLY* Pink Floyd:
*Set The Controls For the Heart of the Sun*
*Atom Heart Mother* (full 23:38 minute 6-part suite)
*A Saucerful of Secrets*
*Careful With That Axe, Eugene*
*Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave And Grooving With a Picture* (a non-instrumental song with just Bass Player Roger Waters using sounds, voice & loop's in Pink Floyd's longest titled song from the album *Ummagumma)*
What about -->> The Jimi Hendrix Experience - All Along The Watchtower
Man this whole album is one of my all time faves! Loving your reactions.
You do realise that the voice that is talking in this song is Stephen Hawking's voice machine, right? Him and Pink Floyd transcend the whole of humanity...
React to Echoes by Pink Floyd next :-)
Please react to Division Bell- Coming back to life by Pink Floyd!
I second this
That song is personally my favourite Pink Floyd song, followed closely by "Wots... Uh The Deal".
My favourite floyd album ,nothing comes close to it ,from beginning to end, been playing this since I got it in 75 ,everytime I'm back in that glorious summer ,so many memories ,lying on my back and watching the clouds go by .
Hey King, you are hillarious man. I love how you did Pink Floyd. I fell in love with them when i was 10 and im 50 now. They still give me goose bumps. Incredible band. Dave Gilmore is lead guitar and vocals. Unmatched anywhere. Keep up the great videos man. From Ireland.
If you want a combo of Tool and Pink Floyd ,listen to Porcupine Tree.

Somebody donate this man some proper headphones.. I feel bad he has to listen to such epic music with stock apple headphones 😱
I love how pumped you are about music, dude. Love your channel.
I'm going to also Echoes LIVE in POMPEII (Both Parts I & II!)
Echoes - Us and Them - Money - Coming back to life... next songs please!!!
Tool would sit down like children at a school house. And learn from the masters. Because they're smart already. They already know
Love watching your reaction channel, I get what you're saying. PK taps into the consciousness of humanity through their lyrics projects how it feels through their music.
Should go for Pigs" (three different one)" next. That's the specific name of the song. You'll find several with animal names. ("Three different ones)" is where its at.
Definitely one of best songs on album
Roger Waters... Floyd's original bassist, played this one on his "Us And Them" tour 4 years ago as a shot towards Donald Trump. The concert film is worth seeing.
whats next? On The Turning Away!!!!!!! or Sorrow, the "indeepsilence" version
"Sorrow" from Delicate Sound of Thunder OR Pulse is amazing. The studio version from A Momentary Lapse of Reason just lacks a little...something. Probably the earth-shattering low notes in the intro and outro and the terrific bass playing by Guy Pratt.
I saw them live in Atlanta (both nights) during their tour for The Division Bell (the tour that produced Pulse) and I was literally concerned about the integrity of Georgia Tech stadium. You could hear the structure rattling at certain points.
Preston, if you do react to the live version of "Sorrow", I don't think earbuds will do it justice. This one needs some nice full-ear headphones.
Or Dogs of War.
David, +1! I love On the Turning Away
I played On the Turning Away at my brothers funeral. RIP Roger Lawrence!!❤️
On the Turning Away, but, I prefer the live version from Delicate Sound of Thunder
Love your videos bro, I love to see someone appreciating so many different bands 👌
Love your channel man! It's so fun watching you experience songs for the first time. I would come home with the album growing up, lock myself in my room and spend hours marinating on pink floyd. It brings me back watching you to those days I was experiencing them. And you are correct sir! Everything pink floyd does os perfect. My favorite artists ever! Good job man!
Am I the only one that thinks this is a really bizarre order he’s doing their songs in haha
This album was made by David Gilmore alone, although it has the Pink Floyd name, it is my go to chill album. My neighbours probably dont even mind it so much, although now I have to start screaming "HOLD ON BRAH", which may raise some eyebrows.
No, it was not. You're thinking of A Momentary Lapse of Reason. They've stated this was their most collaborative album since Wish You Were Here, and Rick Wright is credited as cowriter of most of the songs on the album, and the sole composer of "Wearing the Inside Out" (minus the lyrics.)
Richard Wright does have writing credits on Division Bell, A Momentary Lapse of Reason is the one that's basically a Gilmour solo album.
Syd Barrett wrote Piper At Gates of Dawn outside of one track on that album and it’s a Pink Floyd song so you have no idea what you’re talking about.
Your reactions are always so pure, thank you for doing them. And thank you for reacting to this song :)
You tickle me with your reaction! Lol! Best band EVER! Glad you finally found them!
Mercyful Fate - Come to the Sabbath
Echoes or finish Shine On You Crazy Diamond Parts 6 thru 9

@@mdh6977 I couldn't agree more. The antithesis of Dylan.
Have a listen to Sorrow, Learning to Fly and Dogs of War off Momentary Lapse of Reason by them Preston
Wayne Monaghan Momentary Lapse is actually one of my favorite albums by them. Super underrated and such great songs. Great choice!!
Learning to fly was one of the first ones he did
"Dogs of War" is an incredible song!
Pink Floyd- Learning to Fly...sucha chill song and journey
Love your energy, dude. So positive and uplifting
It's not necessarily Pink Floyd collaborating with Tool more so David Gilmour needs to collaborate with Maynard.
Fuck yeah dude. That would be sonic homicide. I'd die.
jtrem08 that’s my dying wish! 😂 I’m not sure the world could handle it.
Great song... Unfortunately Rick Wright has passed, and Gilmour/Waters will likely never work together again to make a Tool collab possible :(
So glad you're enjoying The Floyd....
Who needs Roger Waters... David Gilmour is the true heart of pink Floyd.... Least in my opinion.
@@justinhiggins1214 u are so right
Justin, while I agree about Roger Waters at this point, Rick Wright still isn't available.
Passed what? Water? The parcel?
Passed from this world, Cancer.
Haven't heard this in a long time. Thanks for the post, brotha.
OMG Tool + Pink Floyd = mind effing blown!!! That would be beyond amazing

Preston, I absolutely love your video reactions. They make me happy. Thanks.
My buddy won tickets to the Q104.3 listening party in New York City before the album was released - by singing the refrain of 'Sheep' on the spot from memory after he called in and got through. He brought me along since we were (are) huge Pink Floyd fans. I remember being blown away by this song in particular. Awesome to see someone experience it the way we did back in the day.
Preston, please next Pink Floyd react to "On The Turning Away" from Delicate Sound Of Thunder or "Coming Back To Life" from The Division Bell
YES YES YES!!!
Please, Preston! You *need* to react to The Greatest Show on Earth by Nightwish! Preferably from a video with the lyrics on it.
I love watching the younger generation experience Pink Floyd for the first time. Welcome to my world! Been living with them since they started. I love your reactions to them! Keep it up! Welcome to the world of Pink Floyd! You’re one of us now!
"Any color you like" will speak to your soul right from the gate
Us and them to Eclipse in one go
Please listen to he live Pulse version of Keep Talking. Amazing!!!
Can you react to Dire Straits please ?
I'm sure you will love Dire Straits, especially because Mark Knopfler (the lead guitarist, songwriter...), as David Gilmour, plays with feeling (and he has more technical)
I recommend you Sultans of Swing (Live Alchemy), Brothers in Arms, Private Investigations or Telegraph Road
I wish a nice day to all of those who read this comment
Dave Gilmour uses a voice synth with his guitar to make those sounds, check out the live version.
The Live Pulse version of this song is amazing.
Come on son, you gotta dive into Echoes by Pink Floyd!!!
