Do you think he would benefit by knowing the history of the band, the history of Roger Waters, in the making of The Wall? It's a great album, I'd certainly be here for that. Or is he better off going in not knowing? He reacts to lyrics very well and the lyrics to The Wall tell a story. The story encompasses the entire album. So yeah he'd have to do the entire thing. Love that idea.

I saw Pink Floyd for the 1st time in 1970 in Cincinnati, Ohio. They played at the Music Hall where the Philharmonic played. We had 3rd row seats. I will never forget it. I feel so blessed to have been born in the 1950's, growing up to the best music and seeing so many classic bands.
I look back, because listening to this song for the first time was a transformative experience, some things you just wish you could experience for the first time twice.
For a Floyd religious experience, you will need. 1. A Laptop computer, with good headphones 2. This tune, queued on youtube, 3. A big fat Bob Marley king size, packed to the tip with ganja. Method. 1. Smoke the blunt, with a coffee usually, and get absolutely buckled. TIP do this while sitting on a bed, or couch, close to items 1 and 2 so you dont move far. 2. Lie back, while wearing headphones, play this track nice and loud on the cans, and relax into your couch/bed while listening. 3. Pray at the church of Floyd, and send your soul on a journey. that is all. oh, and be nice to people.

Please REACT to Ted Nugent's song, "Jailbait." Ted Nugent brags about raping a 13 year old girl in that song. ruclips.net/video/O3XGupYHGUE/видео.html In his VH1 Behind the Music, they also interview Pele Massa the underage girl that he adopted to have sex with. He admits to having sex with several underage girls in his "Behind the Music" saying that their parents were in on it, and that they said better him than some drugged out teenage dirtbag. Several people have have also accused him of having underage sex with them. One was 12 years old at the time. Read the lyrics to his song, "Jailbait." He brags about raping a 13 year old girl. Trump invited this pedophile to the White House.
There is a version where David Gilmour (the guitar player and the singer of "your lips move.....") played a concert just after Prince died. In the middle of the last solo he switched over into the solo of Purple Rain. Absolutely awesome. Best tribute ever of one great musician to another great one. You probably can find it on RUclips.

Plus it's all new to you and a fun and exciting experience and you're taking all of us peeps who have heard this music all our lives with you and that's pretty Awesome. Listen to The Doors and Rolling Stones too since you're doing the Classic Rock thang now. I think you'd like When the Music's Over, Roadhouse Blues, Love me two times and L.A. Woman by The Doors.
You missed out on a lot of music, but we all do because it is all around the world. But Floyd, oh, I remember when dark side of the moon came out. College almost stopped for a few days. Students and teachers were amazed. And I am sure you heard music I never heard. So there it is. Enjoy this.

One of the best of all time! In every way. Never does it get old. Classic... Check out the live version in Pompiie 2016 with David Gilmour after he has aged. Still got it!

"The child has grown, the dream is gone." What a line that is.
Ain't that the fucking truth...
metalheads, punks, hair metal, country, jazz, alt rock,rappers,hiphop,blues.....you name it, they all respect the Floyd
They are the greatest of all time having the London Philharmonic Orchestra in their music, that of which they wrote all pieces.
David Gilmour speaks better with his guitar than most vocalists with their voices.
Davis Gilmour" soul flows through his finger tips. I'm a metal head!!! but david and pink Floyd are the best out there.
The sad part is on the best guitar charts, he is like #10.

I literally just laughed out loud at that. 😂 Pink Floyd & the Greatful Dead.....the best when you got your buzz on. lol.
Fuck yea we can
You always put a smile on my face mate ! Genuine, intelligent reviews. Cheers.
Literally...’zoning’ and remembering. Another stellar example of when music made you feel something.
Your tastes are outstanding! David Gilmour on guitar. They make you feel like you've smoked even if you haven't. Just deeply chilled and thrilled. Ck out Shine On Crazy Diamond.
Nothing better than getting lit with Floyd in the background.
Yes used to take doobie rides with the husband a enjoy
I think it was this song. When Prince died, David Gilmour did the solo from Pueple Rain in tribute
Best tribute ever. So simply beautiful
My heart is exploding with serious love rediscovering these songs with you Preston - thanks again - total joy
David Gilmore one of the most soulful guitarists... Pink Floyd, their music and style is almost totally unique...just masters.
ChicagoTRS not almost. It is unique, no one like Pink Floyd imo
Gilmour.
I cringed when you stopped it before the end solo. I was like, "Nooooooo!!!!" LMAO!! Welcome to the show, bro. Glad to have you.
i am so glad you are doing this , there is so much music to be explored from all people
Man, I appreciate your appreciation of PF.. Still goose bumps after 30 years of discovering Pink Floyd..To see the young generation enjoying their music is refreshing.. Well done fella!! Keep it up. Cheers & respect...
Have a Cigar by Pink Floyd; Baby I’m Gonna Leave You by LED Zeppelin
Babe babe babe babe oh baby I'm gonna leave you
Shine On You Crazy Diamond! Also try Low Spark Of The High Heeled Boys by Traffic and Cant You Hear Mr Knocking by The Rolling Stones!
Music is patient friend...you often find it when you need it the most! =)
100% agree.
Heath Lawrence Amen, brother
That’s beautiful ❤️
Word
You are amazing. This is so fascinating and engaging to experience. Thanks for doing this!
I’m happy for you man. Watching your reactions is like reliving it and rehearing them for the first time. You’re on a journey now. Enjoy the ride
Frits Spieker send the link! I’d love to see that

Of course a search on "David Gilmour purple rain"...
Don't sweat it Preston, you're making up for it now.
Nothing gives me more pleasure than watching Pink Floyd first reactions.. love it !!!!
your wisdom is amazing dude. your energy is incredible. best channel ive ever seen.
Keep it up Preston, the classic rock reactions you do are the best.
So many good pink floyd songs/albums
This one is really chill compared to some of their others
I'm a little triggered by The Dark Side of the Moon album cover while listening to a song off The Wall.
I know. That is just wrong. I always skip this one and find the one with the Wall cover to listen to.
The first thing I noticed!
Lol
No big deal to me. He's just discovering Floyd and doesn't really know the albums. He'll eventually get there. :)
Same
I love you and your reactions. Seriously a highlight to my day!
I respect how you are teaching me to appreciate music that I have listened to for years, well done.
You missed out on a lot of music, but we all do because it is all around the world. But Floyd, oh, I remember when dark side of the moon came out. College almost stopped for a few days. Students and teachers were amazed.
And I am sure you heard music I never heard. So there it is. Enjoy this.
When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eyes
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child has grown, the dream's gone
I have become comfortably numb
You should try "Marooned". literally, it is a masterpiece!
Gilmour does magic with his fingers!
One of the best of all time! In every way. Never does it get old. Classic... Check out the live version in Pompiie 2016 with David Gilmour after he has aged. Still got it!
As one Hip-Hop head to another. . . even if you were a rapper. . DONT do ANYTHING to Dave Gilmour's guitar solo. . . let that magic play with no words, no rhymes, no jingles over it. If you listen closely, you'd realize that he's speaking and has been through the whole session. .if'n ya dig. . . Didnt ya feel it?
Oh I totally agree.
Agree
gurney85 Totally agree
gurney85 he talks, laughs, cries and sings through his guitar solos tbh. Ive been bought up on floyd and David gilmour he’s a massive influence on my own guitaring
gurney85 totally agree, the music speaks volumes and evokes emotion words never could.
You want something soul wrenching listen to Pink Floyd- The Great Gig in the Sky
Clarke Staton YES!!!!
We were not raised that way...we listened to everything. I loved R&B...Blues...Folk music....etc...Of course Rock was my heart. But you so get it....music is universal and brings us all together.
We can see that passion man! That's why we are loving these videos
You gotta listen to "time" from pink floyd now, "wish you were here" , "hey you", "shine on you crazy diamond", "money", those are the best of them
Love Pink Floyd. They have a ton of great songs. Learn to fly is another awesome one
My first Concert was Pink Floyd, and let me tell you hearing it live will reach down into your soul and you will find tears standing in your eyes.
Good to meet you and so cool to see your reaction to great tunes.
Wow dude.. never heard pink Floyd until this.. loved it bro!
Now you'll have the once in a lifetime opportunity to lay in bed in the dark and listen to dark side of the moon for the first time. Lucky bastard!
truth
now you have the chance to listen to pink floyd albums for the first time (the albums are insane because each song blends into the next, with speaking inbetween or music ending and starting but you don't realise it's a new song, it all meshes into one beautifully, it's like listening to one really long song), it's magical and i wish i could do mine over again, it's like going to another spiritual plane, you never look back once you get hooked on floyd, hope you realise how lucky you are!
Headphones on and enjoy
Type , music 1970s on you tube, learn, forget today electronica and rap, just listen and learn. Good to hear people still get bucked by their sound.
