    Agree that The Great Gig in the Sky should be your next song if you felt the background vocals here. It comes directly after this song and it’s less a “song” and more a musical interlude but its fantastic(it’s actually my favorite song of anything anywhere by anyone ). However, I’m surprised at the lack of people requesting the song Money. It’s one of Floyd’s more popular and more upbeat songs and it’s very dynamic. I think it’d be a song you’d really enjoy

  • @edursino2959
    @edursino2959 5 лет назад +53

    The backing vocals are from "Clare Torry". She is the featured vocalist in the following song "The Great Gig in the Sky". Many Pink Floyd songs are not meant to be listened to as individual songs. Time and the great gig in the sky are meant to be played as one song. In fact, Dark side of the moon is meant to be played in it's entirety.

    • @DavidJarvis
      @DavidJarvis 5 лет назад +2

      Agreed. Listening to any individual track from 'The Wall' will be even more challenging because the audio might just cut off at the end; many of the songs across all of Pink Floyd's catalog, in fact, are supposed to roll into the next song uninterrupted.

How do you write a song about a subject as all encompassing as time without it coming off as cheesy and cliche or convoluted and overly wordy? Years later the group bumped into Claire in a cafe. She wasn't angry or blamed Pink Floyd as she often sung with them after.
