That in bed trunk is such a big selling point.
The Ridgeline is by no mean a small vehicle, but I love the fact that the way it drives and handles makes you feel like you're driving a smaller vehicle.
Previously owned a Ridgeline. Highly recommended if you want a comfort rides compared to others. The dual action tailgate and trunk bed storage the best features
Great review! I own a 2022 Ridgeline and I love it! I've used it to haul so much including a small travel trailer, two kayaks, and long lumber using a bed extender and it's handled everything extremely well.
If Honda would give the future Ridgeline more of a aggressive appearance, a little more rear seat room, and a bump in HP/torque to be able to tow more, they would have a hot seller for sure. Overall, excellent truck!
The Ridgeline also has the distinction of being the most American-made pickup truck sold in the USA. The naturally aspirated V6, built in bedliner, the trunk, the ability to haul 4 X 8 sheets of plywood and drywall with ease, the swing out tailgate, the smooth ride, comfortable wide interior and Hondas reliability and build quality especially on the Vtech V6 are the main reasons I like the Ridgeline. I owned 2 Rams , one F150 and 2 Bronocs and I like the Ridgeline the best.
There you go. Can’t beat that reasoning!
Yeah absolutely yes ya Ridgeline is a hidden gem
V6 3.5L All Wheel Drive. Enough said. The Ridgeline is the most misunderstood truck on the market.
I had a 2011 Ridgeline RTL and loved it. It surprisingly started having nit-picky but frequent repair issues around 96,000 miles and I sold it. In retrospect I should have kept it. I can't believe how much more expensive they are now - my 2013 stickered for around 34k but I bought it for 28k because they weren't selling well in Texas.
25MPG is actually 9.41 L/100km and it is actually one of the best in this category 😀
He didn't say if it was US gallons or imperial. But it's rated at 12.8 L / 100 km in city and 9.9 L / 100 km on the highway so I doubt he was getting 9.4 combined.
Beautiful truck. Good presentation. I'm between choosing a Tundra, Ford, or Honda pickup truck. Still doing research.
I’m testing the Ford Ranger this week!
DON’T buy a new Tundra! It has become a nightmare for owners, and Toyota. Bad engines, and other foibles.
Traded in my Tacoma for a Honda Ridgeline. Ridgeline's ride quality is superior by far!
@@EverydayReviews2022Test drive the Ridgeline.
It was once THE MOST EXPENSIVE mid-size truck. Now compare the Black Edition trim at $48K MSRP (US) with the Tacoma Limited at $55K and financially, it is a no-brainer. Well, they are being discounted $3-$5K as we speak. Plans never survive fist contact with the enemy. Toyota will figure it out though. I wish Honda all the best too.
If Ford can put some of those bed storage features into the Lightning, that would be the magic combination
The Lightning has the best frunk hands down. Nothing comes close to it.
FYI I am driving my 2nd Ridgeline 2019, the first one was 2009, and it still running with 360k on it. Please do a review when they come up with PHEV on Ridgeline. That's the time I want to replace my 2019 with PHEV, if they are good.
I like the Ridgeline but it does lack the appearance of being rugged.
Hey Bryan, do you know if the all-terrain tires are three peaks winter rated?
Let me check
They come from the factory with general grabber tires, the truck in the video didn’t have factory tires and I just checked mine and I didn’t see a 3 peek symbol.
For a vehicle to travel in I can see it's versatility but for to use it as a real pickup not so much.
Well my 2024 TrailSport felt like a real truck as I towed my Honda pioneer with two 10 gal. propane bottles, four five gallon cans of gas and 250 pounds of deer corn in the bed.
@@terrymaggio1693 That's not really very much weight. Even with the weight of the pioneer and trailer you maybe have 5,000 lbs being towed. Then 150 lbs of propane tanks, Another 150 lbs of gas and 250 lbs of corn and you are at 550 lbs. With tongue weight you are using 1,050 lbs of payload and towing under 5,000 lbs. You can do that with a 4Runner.
Not a truck at all. Just a civic with a bed. 🤦🏻
Who cares
enjoyed your review. especially like that you paid so much attention to the tailgate functions. Very nice! My only concern in parking lots is the "size" envy of the full size trucks. You had it parked next to a FORD...and the Honda looked so small. That might cause "size" envy and hurt my delicate male ego. haha Merci
