🔴Do you think the Ridgeline's new upgrades make it a serious contender in the midsize truck market?🤔 🏆5 Reasons You Should Wait For 2025 Tacoma WATCH HERE 👉 ruclips.net/video/1SWO4N5MDN8/видео.html
I’m a Ridgeline owner and I love this truck. I’ve been waiting for a big redesign but so far there’s no proof that Honda will redesign the Ridgeline for 2025. Could you provide from where you’re getting this information? Thank you
Oh heck no. Please don't Stick the Infotainment Screen ON TOP OF THE DASH like every other freaking thing out there ! Incorporate the larger Infotainment Screen INTO THE DASH, so it looks like part of the vehicle, not an engineering After thought .... PLEASE !
Can you please site your sources because I'm currently shopping for a Ridgeline and there's literally nothing mentioned anywhere about the 2025 changes if any.
10 speed vs 9 equals nothing. New stuff usually breaks. Outward appearance and interior don’t matter much. Needs more ground clearance. More skid plates that are metal, not plastic. Like them but come on Honda.
People pick on it for not being a real truck. I find it funny, Ram and now Toyota offers the IRS for a better ride. Honda needs to strengthen the frame, and maybe add a couple of cross members to improve payload and towing. It'll use the 3.5. Bump it up to Acura's specs or more. I wouldn't mind premium gas if it topped 300 hp and a better torque curve.
I’ve been a Ridgeline owner for 14 years. I currently own a 2014 Sport with 95,000 miles (bought it new). It runs like a champ with only basic maintenance and a new battery. Blue book has it at 14k but I think it’s worth 17k-18k all day long. A cool redesign might make me pull the trigger! I’ve also been looking at the Nissan Frontier Pro Max, it’s a good looking truck.
How reliable with the variable valve timing and doesn’t the 2024 have the cylinder deactivation? Thought I heard this. I just want the v6, none of this complicated garbage that cause loss of reliability.
Interesting video, but is this information accurate? The dealers seem to know nothing. I'd like to update my 2008, but I'm really beginning to wonder how accurate any of the 2025 hype is in these RUclips videos.
I would trade in my 23 if the new truck looked that good. Obviously this is someone’s rendering of what it could look like but job well done by them. A hybrid would also be great if course.
Don't fix what isn't broken. Look at GM and Ford's endless pickup recalls. Apple has done a number on the younger generation by convincing them all products need a couple dozen whizbang new electronic upgrades every year or it is somehow obsolete. One of the reasons why new vehicles are so expensive.
the truck may be good, there is a problem with the service workshops, they are not trained in the technology of that truck.this is what happens to me, they cannot fix the problems with my truck
I'm willing to bet that the look will be a 2026 or 2027 model. Honda CRV changed the look in Europe 2 years before it came to the US and they just redid the passport and pilot. It'll be 2 years before they change the Ridgeline.
Honda let us down again. This year the Ridgeline has no redesign. You can see it in the Honda website. Same jerky 9 speed and 3.5 engine with VCM. I am going to a different manufacturer
@@rockcreekrockcreek6644 sorry, it is not the best vehicle made. Now it might be good but the best. No. I had a 2019 and it was at the shop all the time for one thing or another. Best one was when the mirror fell off and damaged the side of my Ridgeline and Honda agreed to replace the mirrors but they did not want to fix the damaged door. They finally fixed it when the pressure was put on. Now how stupid is it to put low beam LED and high beam halogen headlights. Ridgeline and Passport are the only vehicles in Honda line like this. My opinion is Honda is cheaping out and trying to use up all the part they have in inventory.
@@Timberdam There is no vehicle made without cons. I know that but I have had a Second Gen Ridgeline. Make sure you buy an aftermarket VCM muzzler to eliminate the cylinder delete. The lost of about 1 MPH is worth it
I had a 2017 and now a 2023. The 2017 did not look as good as the 2023; but it was better. Honda has been force feeding electronic nannies down your throat. It still is under powered and the software is horrible. enuf said.

I own a 2024 ridgeline trailsport. It’s a great suv with a lot of storage. Gets over 20 mpg and trouble free!

as usual BS to get likes Same truck for 2025

It’s all over the internet if you google it.

Glad they kept the normally aspirated v6.
Our 2005 has 267K now. Engine purrs and it shifts like new.

I’d prefer a mild hybrid for torque improvement over premium
I like the current motor and don't want to use premium gas ! Mine will tow a 22' boat no problem

I'd love a Frontier. V-6 with a stout conventional automatic transmission.
One dealer said that the 2025 model will not be an updated new body style.

Yeah I’m skeptical too. I’m guessing we won’t see it until 2026.
@@JSmith-zr2ve Yeah, my '08 is getting tired. I love the truck. The dealers are mum on the 2025. We shall see.
A hybrid ridgeline will lose its in bed trunk or will lose trunk capacity
And not much better mpg with all that unnecessary weight and complexity.
Best preview of this truck so far
There won't be a redesign for 2025. But you may get it 2026 and announced by the end of 2025.
How much can they tow
I would trade in my 23 if the new truck looked that good. Obviously this is someone’s rendering of what it could look like but job well done by them. A hybrid would also be great if course.
I'm waiting for a Hybrid model.
My 2024 ridgeline only cost $50000. Minus 25000 for my Toyota trade in.

Apple has done a number on the younger generation by convincing them all products need a couple dozen whizbang new electronic upgrades every year or it is somehow obsolete. One of the reasons why new vehicles are so expensive.
Best Ridgeline improvement would be...if Honda figured out a way to get a well equipped model under $30K.
the truck may be good, there is a problem with the service workshops, they are not trained in the technology of that truck.this is what happens to me, they cannot fix the problems with my truck
What's wrong !
Dream on fellow Tech Triumph! If this comes to pass, the pigs shall fly.
Hopefully a spare tire comes with the Hybrid unlike the CRV model.
We love our Toyota trucks but will be super cool to see a more squared off and sporty Ridgeline on the road.
That raised infotainment screen is really ugly. If they don't continue to incorportate it into the dash, this will be my last Ridgeline.
I just got a 2024 model 😂
I bought in 2020 so know what you're going through.🤦♂️
Don't worry guys. I'd hold off on a 2025 model. There may be recalls for the initial upgraded model.
@@oceanhedonist265 I'd hold off on anything new. They simply don't have the parts to fix even minor issues given the rate of defects.

They need to bring back the avalanche look
it needs more ground clearance
Lol 24 mpg I wish... On my 2023 Black Addition I only get 15 mpg and that's on a good day .
You need to see the dealer, that's way off!
Y Black edition 2024 26 ml/gal
Your speculation on the redesign .... well, just spectulation -- marginal changes to 2025
Proof this is happening in 2025? All info I’ve seen is a big NO.
How is it you know what change are coming when nobody else does?
As long as it retains a rubber timing belt and cylinder deactivation, no thanks.
Yep, better replace the belt every 100k or you are lviing on borrowed time
Timing belt engines are way less complicated and reliable due to less moving parts than chain engines
Just do the maintenance and it’ll last
@@chrishughes4652 I just want them to keep the normally aspirated V6. Honda' engine are great.
If some of the most reliable motorcycles are driven by rubber belts. I think they're OK.
@@DeSalvoLaw Oh noooo, every 100k. That isn't exactly weekly maintenance.
Roll up windows and door locks would lower the price!
Sounds like the price will be going up on an already overpriced vehicle.

Annoying camerawork, and poor green screen.
$80k out the door 😮

Still no trailer brake controller?? wtf Honda ?
I’m waiting for the brat
Better not look like that, looks like a crappy Branco meets a crappy Tacoma design
Here we go, they’ve touched the engine. Expect the abortion like on the Toyotas side when they fiddle where it doesn’t itch.
They’re unaffordable now, probably cost even more in 2025.
They are way overpriced
They cost the same as every other 4wd midsize.
Which too are overpriced.
@@guentherwilke2055 they are all overpriced
The cheapest option
No small cab longer bed option? No thanks
K
This guy is just a whiner. Blocked... lol
The front grill is ugly
Still just a car with the trunk lid removed
The bed of this truck is always so ugly.
The reliability and features like a built in bed liner and trunk and comfortable ride make it beautiful to me.
the bed and rear of the truck are fine! just the front end need to change.
