Remember that period in Japanese history where after Takeda Shingen died, his son called to the Japanese version of Heaven, Da Great Green, where he called upon the aid of the Japanese gods Gork and Mork, who granted him their power, wherein he then launched a massive WAAAGH against the Takeda Clan’s enemies. And so pleased by the destruction Shingen’s son caused that Gork (or possibly Mork) reincarnated Takeda Shingen years later, soon becoming Warboss of all Japan? Really underrepresented I’m the grand scheme of Japanese history.

Imagine if Takeda won the war. The entire country will be obsessed with horse. Dutch traders will import Arabian horses for the rich daimyo and the entire Japan infrastructure will be created to accommodate horse raiders more. When admiral Perry arrived the whole country is full of high quality horses from hundreds of years of selected breeding and Japan can start the global affair as high quality horse exporter

The Takeda experience bring us a true experience of Samurai spirit.
Martial skills, courage, honour and valor was show throughout the experience.
The death of our lord Shingen is a sad day for the clan.
But as the sky will clear after the rain. His son, young lord Yoshinobu has proved to be a perfect successor of the Tiger of Kai.

Excellent work, can tell its truly a result of passion! Imagine if the horse archers had AI like modern games where they would auto skirmish and run around circles of enemies firing arrows, Takeda would be even more OP.

Brilliant video. It's obvious how much time and effort you put on all this editing and i must say this was amazing. I felt the loss of Shingen in the beginning, which was bullshit RNG considering he had half his unit left, and then the joy of Yoshinobu continuing his father's dream of unifying Japan. You sir, have told a story without words.

Picked up your channel a few weeks ago and Jesus H Christ. This is some S tier stuff right here. The total war memes and editing are beautiful; insane time must go into editing these, let alone doing whole campaigns for each vid (I’ve never had the attention span to finish a campaign). Btw rip Takeda Shingen. A Takeda legendary series by a guy named Volound got me into total war about 8 years back or so. So this whole viddy gives me great nostalgia too.

I was only able to defeat them with Genoa, Full stack armies consisting of 50% pavesarii crossbowmen, 50% armoured sergeants

Frankly my favorite Shogun 2 clan, both due to the color scheme (love me some Red uniforms) and because good lord Takeda Fire Cavalry is fun to play with.

if you are in a battle and click the "-" on the screen in the very down left corner
you may get a more cinematic look without all the unit cards etc

What's interesting is that if you visit Kofu, Yamanashi Prefecture you'll be greeted by the same Takeda Shingen statue as soon as you get out of the station.
