Glad to see you tackle Shogun 2, my all time favorite total war game
I guess you could call this the Vietnam prequel
The reason your allies want an alliance is because you cost them hundreds of men to take Setsuma, but you TOOK SETSUMA. Their original plan was to lose several hundred men to take Setsuma and then FAIL to take Setsuma, so they definitely consider that your win.
Congrates on doing one of the hardest challenges in Shogun, but you made it harder than it really is because see if you don't have more soldiers than the entire population of japan the challenge gets a whole lot harder
The British viewers watching the British showing up getting all giddy and excited.
I didn’t know the Soviet army traveled back in time to fight samurai with there special forces
Ngl it's nice seeing kleaper playing a old total war game (the good total war games)
19:21 Couple of corrections. The Warrior-class had a crew of over 700, not 300. It also had a total of 40 guns, not 42.
he was talking about the version thats in the game, as you can see from him showing it's unit card at 19:27
Historically, you're absolutely correct though.
I never thought one of my favorite youtubers would play my favorite game
Klemperer brought skavenslaves to the real world
Another video added to this guys top-tier lineup
I'm pretty sure this is just Shiroyama expanded upon.
20:00 they pulled a uno reverse
Local man conquer Japan with double population of Japan (including dead) FOR THE EMPEROR
The kleaper is one video closer to a permeant vacation to Guantanamo bay
Many silly billies and goobers were harmed in the making of this video 😢
I'm a sucker for shogun 2, man so much fun, I remember the first ashigaru gun unit from both 1 and 2, where bullets were bullets and if it landed that was very likely someone who died, slow, cumbersome and utterly devastating, one good unit placement could solo win a siege defence.
Now you have things like warhammers one where bullets are damage numbers and go ping off someone's head... and play air guitar in melee.
Solid video.
You are doing some special things with the pronunciation of some words, though, like Geisha.
The Geneva Convention joke was legendary 😂😂 we're in the clear
"To ask for help from the British, you would have to be pretty stupid or pretty desperate, and I am all three"
Love it XD
Great to see I'm not alone in discovering the 2 turn cycle of: turn 1 - full taxation, turn 2 - max taxation to get red provinces into orange
Ah, so this is how the Astra Millitarum wins wars in Warhammer 40k...
Love seeing shogun 2 get some love, One of TW's best games.
Who knew you could play the Skaven in this game.
11:34 that is a qoute I'm using
Japan never followed the Geneva convention....ask unit 731 or the commander of Chichi Jima island.....
Thoroughly enjoyed that, fella. Cheers.
Realm Divide, the "Our Province Bombarded" stage of the game
Finally Japan tastes some freedom, god bless America! xD
i remember the portuguese and dutch visiting japan but not the british.
