Question is what this will cost the Lakers. Will James Sr. object if his son doesn’t get enough playing time? If people had any clue, they would realize there are plenty of players who got drafted with pedestrian ass freshman college stats. Shit the lakers have two in Max Christie and Vanderbuilt. Think about it, there are hundred and hundred of guys with great college stats that never were able to sniff the nba floor. Whst does that tell you? Lebron is a superstar and has massive influence on decisions the team makes. Even with that influence, Bronny was a late 2nd round pick. By his lame single college season stats, he's the worst player ever drafted. There is zero chance Bronny would have been drafted this year, or ever, if it weren't for his dad's influence.

Idk what everyone says, Bronny James could be a great player, maybe not the next goat, and they did draft him because of Lebron because thats how they keep LeBron on their team, they do what he wants. It's a smart financial decision because Lebron stays there and people will pay a lot to go see Lebron and his son play alongside each other. If he went undrafted or some other team chose Bronny, Lebron would have left and the Lakers lose on of the best guys to ever play the game, and if they lose him, they lose a lot if money. It was a smart decision by the Lakers.
