The State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II toke place at Westminster Abbey on Monday 19th September at 11am. The Funeral Service and the associated ceremonial arrangements payed tribute to The Queen’s extraordinary reign, and Her Majesty’s remarkable life of service as Head of State, Nation and Commonwealth. The Funeral was broadcast live on TV, radio and The Royal Family's RUclips Channel to allow people around the world to take part in mourning The Queen.

One of the things that makes England still Great are its own traditions still alive since the ancient times. Today as yesterday, something that here in Italy we've lost. How much love around the Queen Elizabeth II, how much love around the new King and how much love towards the British Monarchy! This is breathtaking! So, God Save the King!

We have a new anthem and first since 1952 that is GOD SAVE THE KING, I am going to get use to the lyrics of the National Anthem. Happy for King Charles that now he is the King after we have been waiting for 70 years. Can't wait for his coronation.

I am not sure about the long version of the lyrics, that begins Thy choicest gifts in store, only the short version of it.
@@Yuhon100 they choicest gifts must be referring to the money he received in bags from a dodgy middle eastern dictator for his charities.
That glorious trumpet fanfare leading into the anthem sends shivers down my spine. It was composed for, and first played at, William and Catherine's wedding.

Actually it wasn’t, the fanfare was composed by Gordon Jacobs and was played at HM The late Queens coronation in 1953

@@clairenoon4070 he did do the one at catherine and Williams wedding. But this is an older one, although out of all the versions I still prefer the sir David Wilcocks one

Thank you for posting this. I attended with my Dad, both wearing our service medals and berets of our respective regiments in which we served. The emotion was palpable in this very moment, both I and my Pops stood to attention and gave our salute to The King. The behaviour and conduct of all who attended was exceptional, thank you everyone who attended, it was a pleasure to be around you all. It can be easy to think our nation has lost its way when we turn on our tv’s and take in the daily news, but at the moment in time when we all stood united, from all walks of life, not even everyone there British, I was reminded why I love, served, and still believe in our country. Never give in. Rest in peace, Ma’am. God Save The King 🇬🇧

I was in the crowd that day. Honestly such anthropological study of time to be in London. To see a new Prime Minister and Monarch in the same week… not often that you see that.
I agree, was really interesting to see all what happened that they. Pretty sure thst in the future we will read about it
Me, my 2009 Woody, my sister, Mummy and Woody.EXE we’re in the crowd in St Julian’s that day and all 5 of us were at the very front to watch the funeral. Then Woody.EXE opened chaplain that day as a final goodbye to the late Queen; I loved how the champagne went all over the crowd and it was the best one I’ve had; I was relieved that Mummy got the Queen’s favourite one and I hugged her as she revealed it

It was all 7 of us in the room including Woody.EXE and I had to leave since it got a bit much. I think my mother spotted the ghost of Queen Elizabeth II and she was walking out of the room when I saw her. Still haunts me to this day

I don’t mean ANY disrespect whatsoever to King Charles so please don’t take this the wrong way but shouldn’t they have sang “queen” one very last time since it was her funeral and it wouldn’t be sang ever again in our lifetime. Like how they play “Hail to the Chief” and a former US Presidents funeral.
