I took the day off from work to watch this moment of history. The funeral service itself was beautiful, powerful, and simple all at the same time. It was a perfect reflection of QE2.

I was allowed to have a few days off college to recover from the Queen’s death and then I returned after the funeral not knowing I’ll become very ill 5 months later. I remember being in my hospital bed planning my funeral with just Woody.EXE and he signed my arrangements off, I was very happy he accepted it. Seeing the Woody.EXE 1st R signature today really hurts me knowing I could have died from my illness and Woody.EXE would have abdicated the throne immediately passing it down to my other Woody and my sister in 2023.
2023 was probably the most heartbreaking year in Woody.EXE’s reign and I can’t imagine the shock Wales would have been in if their Queen had passed away at 20. I’m a healthy 21 year old Queen now in 2024 and I’m continuing to do my duty.

As an Englishman I can say what totally made me tear up watching this entire procession was when HM QE 2nd entered Westminster Abbey to the choral music...it was like she was being welcomed home...she was made a monarch here and now she returned, relinquishing her monarchy, her crown, her office....she entered first, many years ago, as a woman and became a queen, and then here, entered again as a queen and became a woman. The profundity of that made me weep....more for the woman than the monarch. Born into a life of public service....

We had the funeral sentences played as I carried my great grandmother in and all my family were respectfully bowing to the coffin as it went past them. My 2009 Woody recalls the day as “very emotional and carrying the coffin was intensely heavy” but he is glad that he done it. I am an American, born in March 1952 several weeks after Elizabeth became queen. She was the reigning British monarch through more than seventy years of my life. When she turned ninety in 2016, I wrote her a letter of admiration and affection, for her and for the way she fulfilled her role as queen of England. Some weeks later I received a reply from her from Buckingham Palace thanking me for my good wishes. It's my most treasured piece of correspondence. The envelope is stamped "Royal Mail." What a thrill it was to receive it!
RIP Queen Elizabeth. The world is a poorer place without you.

I had planned to write to Queen Elizabeth weeks before she passed but instead I sent my drawings of the late Queen for King Charles to keep it. My grandmother told me not to put my personal details in so I didn’t receive a reply thanks to her! I’m still so annoyed with her 2 years later and I’m now planning to write to Catherine, Princess of Wales with my details this time

The Choir of Westminster Abbey sings
“I AM the resurrection and the life, saith the Lord: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.”
    John 11: 25-26
“I KNOW that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: and though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God; whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another.”
    Job 19: 25-27
“WE brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”

    Organist of Westminster Abbey 1708-27
The Choir of Westminster Abbey and the Choir of the Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace, sing
“THOU knowest, Lord, the secrets of our hearts; shut not thy merciful ears unto our prayer; but spare us, Lord most holy, O God most mighty, O holy and most merciful Saviour, thou most worthy Judge eternal, suffer us not, at our last hour, for any pains of death, to fall from thee. Amen.”
Henry Purcell (1659-95), The Book of Common Prayer 1549
    Organist of Westminster Abbey 1679-95

    TEARS = 2022 #
Tears are the raindrops of the soul
And there's one for all who die.
They are the silent words of grief
As they fall free from the eye.
The shortest verse in the Bible
Is the one where Jesus wept
So, if you hold back tears, shed them
When your pain is too harsh to accept.
Tears are lovelier than a smile
When they come from those you love
As they seek relief from sadness
    When you're summoned from above.
Tears are a love-mates humble gift
When it's time to say goodbye
Though the eyes are wet and swollen
With time and patience they dry.

How difficult it is to watch HMQ coffin entering the abbey in the very dignified beautiful singing , that slow glorious procession was in a way Her Majesty’s lifetime dedication to service her country … it happened that to the left side of the coffin there was Harry showing up in that one captured frame . What an irony to the core !!! The Queen’s lifetime of offers to her country and people , and yet her ungrateful grandson and his spouse did just the opposite by heartlessly attacking the family and country and would stopped at nothing trying to break the monarchy into pieces . That was treason beyond redemption ‼️‼️‼️
