We all know that one day the Queen in her old age will eventually pass. But she had become a constant for the people of the UK for 70 years and losing her would really be a shock. It's like having known your grandmother all your life and she had always been there until she died and the world suddenly spun off its axis. Things will never be the same, and all we could do is embrace the change. My sincerest condolences to the Royal Family and to the people of the UK.
When my grandma passed, the dynamics of my family changed completely. She was the anchor that held the family together and in her death, everyone just went their own way. I pray for Britain.
She did. And I particularly remember one photo, that was published in a newspaper here in Oslo where I live, actually before the official news of her death came out, the photo showed, not one but TWO rainbows, I believe it was in front of (or near) Buckingham Palace. She was a remarkable person.
@@vloplob Close. She is of the house of Saxe-Coburg und Gotha. Queen Victoria was of the house of Hannover but she married Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg und Gotha and thus changed the dynasty to his. His dynasty continue through the paternal side all the way to King Charles. They arbitrarily changed their name to the House of Windsor after King George V’s favorite castle during WWI to not sound so German….but they were almost completely German all the way to Elizabeth herself. King George VI could not have looked more German if he tried….even his mother Queen Mary (Mary of Teck) was of a great German house. But, Elizabeth got an injection of English and Scottish through her mother. But then, Elizabeth herself ALSO married a great German noble house when she married Phillip of the House of Battenberg (Anglicized to Mountbatten due to the whole world war thing, but Phillip himself couldn’t get more German…this makes King Charles 75% German and 25% Scot/English)
I'm not really a monarchist but I have felt sad today. The Queen is someone who's lived through generations. My nan was a child when she was crowned and I remember my Mum taking me to London as a child to see the Princess Diana memorial. We'd always watch the Queen's speech every Christmas. She was a constant in many people's lives.
there's nothing wrong with being a republican and respecting her, she was really good at her job. Never met her, never knew her but for all intents and purposes she was the country's favourite old lady.
She lived through WW2, she was the reigning monarch of the UK for 7 decades, she lived an entire century, overseeing her country and the world as it developed and changed rapidly over the decades. Crazy when you put it into perspective.
@@julielawlor5482 How entirely profound. The statement wasn’t remarking about her survival, it was the fact that she was alive during such a significant era.

Over a year and still the announcement of her passing brings tears to me.. I hope in my heart that she new how special how loved and admired. She was our monarch our queen . Never is there to be another like her.. rest in peace ma'am.
As a Canadian I've spent my entire life seeing the Queen's face looking out on everything from stamps to bills. Seeing her portraits change over the years as I'd grown older, and she had grown older too. She faced everything with such grace. Two little girls were near the magazines at the pharmacy yesterday and one pointed at an article cover and said proudly "That's Queen Elizabeth II when she was younger!" And I realized that like me they had also grown up with the Queen. She was truly an iconic figure. I don't know how I'll feel the first time I hold a bill with King Charles on it, but I know it won't be the same. To the rest of my Commonwealth family that may be mourning around the world - I'll be thinking of you!

Whether or not you were part of the Commonwealth, she was a constant for so many in the world. She exemplified so much and we thank her for her service. May she Rest In Peace.
No, Diana dying was a shock. She was a healthy woman with very young children who was still young herself. Elizabeth was 96... anybody dying at 96 isn’t a shock.
I was born in 1952, so Elizabeth was my Queen for my whole life at that time. I had moved to America in 1967, but never lost my affection for her. I cried my eyes out for a while and was saddened for weeks. I'm tearing up again as I write this.
My heartfelt condolences to the UK. I'm from Portugal, where her majesty visited twice. The first time in the 1950s. A huge crowd gathered to welcome her when she arrived, among them our current president who was just a little boy at the time. He met with her majesty recently, just a couple years ago and the Queen mentioned how well received she had been back than. Truly a world icon spanning several generations.

It took a few moments before I could explain to my friend why I'd gone quiet. I'm not a royalist, but her death saddened me because she had been a constant through the whole of my life, and regardless of what her critics say, she was an amazing example of duty being fulfilled. She was like the bridge to different generations, our great grandparents, grandparents, parents, ourselves, and our future kin have all lived at the same time as her reign and so much has happened during that time. This connection is something special and significant.
Couldn’t agree more. She was the constant both in leadership and as a symbol for a nation and for many in the rest of the world. Also a great connection to the past for so many and for us in the present, and now it has been lost.
agreed... but GREAT grandparents??? for you maybe, not for me - my mum 's 85, so her, yes - her parents alive at her coronation. my dad too. his parents? "When her father died in February 1952, Elizabeth-then 25 years old-became queen" my dad's dad died in 1949, so no - his mum, 1963 so no. so 3/4 of my grandparents saw the change from King to Queen. and hun, "future kin" - the ones who haven't been born yet?? I understand the sentiment, but can't see how that is possible.
I'm an American, and I was in London sitting in a pub when the news came across the televisions. I will never, ever forget that moment as long as I live. While not British or a royalist per se, I felt and knew the enormity of it. What an incredible life lived by that lady.
I was pretty shocked. I just switched Colleges and i was starting my first day at my new college when I heard the bad news. It legit felt like the earth was slowly flattening like a pancake. I even made a video about it a day later on my previous channel which was terminated.

It means a lot to a country when someone gives up their individuality and takes on a life as a representative. Never stepping down. Never saying “No this is inhumane to ask someone to embody a National identity” What she gained in wealth and privileges she gave up in opinions, any sense of individual self, and never quit on them. I couldn’t have lived that life. I don’t know many who could. And I doubt her son can live up to being that neutral monument without an opinion.

I am American and felt so sad when I heard. Just so sad. Looking back on her coronation... just absolutely beautiful. Her passing marked the end of the era. A more noble, dignified time. A time before the throwaway trash culture of today. She was like a symbol of beauty and tradition. Of things that were real and timeless.
A way you can know how iconic she is is how you can litterally just say “the Queen” and people will know who you are talking about, she was an icon and an amazing queen, may she Rest In Peace
@@kaysmith8992 that's because France isn't a monarchy anymore. In the Netherlands we would call our own king or queen... 'the king' or 'the queen'. It's kind of coincidental we have a king now, because we had queens for a long time during the reign of their queen.
A friend said to me they knew how the world worked but somehow had convinced herself the Queen would live forever. I think many of us had done the same. My parents are both 73. There is literally nobody their age or younger with any memory of life in Britain other than with her as our Head of State. The social change that occurred during her reign is remarkable.
These reactions are just beautiful. Truly, they are. Don't take that the wrong way...I find it VERY touching and quite lovely to see how emotional everyone becomes when they learn of her passing...just goes to show how truly beloved she was. @@ivanvalera3250 you're remark is indicative of narrative you choose to follow. The queen was a symbolic figure head, one that was deeply cherished. The ills of the past do not rest with her decision making, that lies with government.
While I never thought she was actually immortal, it's unfathomable to think that she has gone. She has been our steadfast figurehead throughout almost all of our lives, and she will be greatly missed. I take comfort in the fact that she lived a long, happy life, and died peacefully, surrounded by her family, in a place she loved. We can all only hope our own lives in such a way.
Same. You need not be a monarchist to have respect for tradition and history. It sickens me that some people are taking advantage of a captive audience to spout their edgy anti-monarchy views. This isn't an appropriate time for politics.
The Queen had become a mythical figure to all of us. We felt that she would go on forever. The speed of her death coming just several hours after the first reports of her declining health and concern by her doctors took everyone by surprise. I certainly expected there to be at least a couple of days as her health deteriorated. Having seen that final set of photos where just two days prior the Queen had met with Liz Truss made the news even harder to digest- although she looked frail she did appear to be vibrant and in good spirits. Whatever condition she was suffering from was obviously much worse than what was being reported by the media- we weren't really prepared for what happened. I still cannot believe she's gone. The Queen has been the one constant in the world throughout my life- a succession of Presidents, Prime Ministers and Popes have come and gone over the past 70 years but the Queen has remained, steadfast and regal. The Queen is dead, God save the King.
She was blessed with the perfect passing. No suffering, no illness, no prolonged bed stay. Died in her favourite home surrounded by family. Not many of us will get this.
Quite so. I had expected that when the time came there would be a sort of statement such as the one made for King George V: ’The King’s life is moving peacefully toward its close.’
I am American, and when I heard about her death, I almost wanted to cry. When I was child, I would always look up to the queen thinking she was so cool because she was a women ruling a whole country. It all feels so surreal. She's always been there for my entire life. I'm Canadian, and she was the Queen of Canada, as well. Her picture is on our money. We have many stamps with her picture. The highway south of where I live is named after her. There's a mountain range named after her in this province. If I go to Maligne Lake, I would see the range. I knew that this would come some day, but it felt like she would always be there, you know? It hit me harder than I expected. I've been watching videos of her amazing sense of humour. She seemed like a wonderful lady.
"I knew that this would come some day, but it felt like she would always be there' you know?" You've encapsulated mine and so many people's exact feeling with those words I am sure!
Same in Australia. Her head has been on all our coins and one note for as long as I've been alive. I'm in my 50's, and she's the only Sovereign I and most have known our whole lives. Rest in peace your Majesty ♥

People are making comments about it because the monarchy was a constant evil for a lot of poorly treated nations and it's constantly brushed under the carpet so that national pride can shine;, the tradition is disgusting and damaging and should die
Usually is isn't the internet making awful jokes, but people making awful jokes on the internet. In other times there were awful jokes on TV, the radio, the newspapers, or talking.
Their reactions are utterly embarrassing. Why? because she was pampered all of her life and died in luxury of old age! How the fuck is that "The saddest thing"...? These morons haven't experienced true loss or heartbreak clearly.
I am not a British. However I am very saddened to hear that the Queen has passed. I was named after the Queen, and after I knew that I've learned to love her as well.
Someone commented here that the Queen made the U. K. Look better. I never really thought of it before, but it's true. When it seemed like Parliament and society had all lost their common sense, we would just say, "Well at least the Queen has her head on her shoulders" She loved her country. I think every country she have a statesman as dedicated to the good of her people as she was.
I think the queen is one of the most important people in modern history. She was deeply loved all over the world and faithful in her commitment to the Commonwealth. I have such a deep respect for her and her legacy. I believe she instilled a lot of wisdom into the next generations of the royal family. Regardless of their faults, the Queen's example to her family will continue to challenge them to follow her example well.
As an American, I was absolutely devastated. I'm not one to support monarchy but she as a human was incredible. I mean, I knew one day it would happen but you also don't expect it, ya know? She's been the queen my entire life. I'm only 19. It's a hard adjustment for sure
She was mostly taken for granted when alive but now she's gone we realise just how much she meant to us and how much she did for us all in our country. It's only until something's gone that you really appreciate it. God rest her soul. God save the King.
I don’t think she was taken for granted at all. Most people loved to Queen. Even many of them that don’t care for the firm or others in the royal family
I'm Australian (she's our queen too) and when I woke up in the morning to hear the queen died I honestly didn't believe it. I googled "queen" fully expecting her to be alive and well. I mean at her age it shouldn't be so surprising but because of the fact that she had lasted so long and at 96 could still get around and do her royal duties kind of makes you think that she sort of will never die. I really just didn't know what to think at first until like a good few hours later that I had gathered my thoughts. To be honest I sort of still don't know what to think, I don't know how to accept this that she's gone. She was truly a great woman and I highly doubt we will see the likes again. Truly a grandmother to generations of people from Commonwealth realms and across the world. God Save the Queen and may she rest in peace in heaven above.
Aussie too, and I was literally telling my mother the Thursday when it showed her Majesty greeting the new PM and talking about her health, that they keep going on about her health, and it's like they're rushing her death. The next day she was gone. My mother is elderly and has dementia but she was beaming with a smile when she saw her. She always loved her. God rest our gracious Queen.
I heard that she was under medical supervision, that she was comfortable and her immediate family were travelling to Balmoral to be with her. That did not bode well. That afternoon I was near Green Park. At around 6pm I took a walk to the Palace, I just felt a need to go. As I walked around the side of BP I looked up to the flag, it was fully raised, I breathed a sigh of relief. I convinced myself that she would perk up after a couple of days rest. I hung around, looking at the tourists, (there must have been no more than twenty people there), then I looked up and to my horror the flag was flying at half mast. I realised she had gone. I burst out crying. People around me asked what had happened, I said the Queen has died. At that second I got a notification on my phone from Sky News confirming. I stayed there for maybe half an hour. I made my way home, up the Mall heading for the tube station. People, lots of them were heading the other way, towards the palace, most carrying flowers. As I sat down on the platform, waiting for the tube, there was one already in, I couldn’t be bothered to get on it, thought I’d wait for the next one. As the tube pulled out, I looked up in front at the advertising posters and there she was, QEII in her beautiful glory as a young Queen, I couldn’t believe it. It was eerie, but comforting. I adored her. She inspired me, her wisdom her faith, and her smile, I will never forget. I know Charles is our king now, but, I’m not quite ready to let QEII go, I need more time. Rest in glorious peace, Elizabeth the adored. ❤️🇬🇧😔
I don't know if British realise this, but she made your country look better. Royalist or not, she did amazing job. To say she was privileged? No thank you, I like my life. She lived a life or service, to the very last day.
People see jewels, money, castles, but what they don't see is you can never escape, you're always on standby, can never just go off on holiday, all these people to meet and places to go that you probably have no interest in, world leaders that likely annoy the life out of you, always rules and protocol to follow,, always got to be dressed up, optics to think of, abd you're never fully safe. In effect, you're a glorified public servant whose time is never your own. A gilded cage, if you will. I wouldn't fancy it much.
@@ChrisAndCats Also she was 18 at the end of world War 2, where she also served in the army and had to watch her country get destroyed and London get turned to rubble. Seventy magnificent years. Fifteen UK prime ministers, fourteen US presidents, seven popes. One Queen. She was an icon of stability and constancy in an ever-changing world. I grew up knowing Elizabeth II reigned in London, that she was The Queen, that she was always there. I’ll never stop loving the Brits. There are people that want to destroy this Nation. But look at them, they all act like they just lost their mum. Elizabeth was an amazing woman, a constant in every generation for the past 70 years and really 80 if you count her time of service pre, mid and post ww2. You don't have to be a monarchist to appreciate what an extraordinary figure she was. The last few weeks have shown that a lot of people are sorely lacking when it comes to knowledge of history. The fact that the British empire came to an end during her reign and didn't take tens of millions of lives along with it as most every empire in history has done when it fell is absolutely incredible. I'm not saying it was perfect or bloodless but when you look at the circumstances of the fall of other empires throughout history it's hard to imagine a more peaceful end to what was the most vast empire in human history at its peak 100 years ago.

It's been sort of confirming for me. In my (danish) family we actually discuss monarchism and republicanism now and then. I'm sort of the fence-sitter among us where my dad is more sympathetic to our queen and my youngest sister is vividly opposed to any monarchs. My stance has always been that ideologically I think it makes sense that no family should be above any other, like what you see in a kingdom, but in consitutional monarchies I also think it's quite clearly a stabilising elements, at least as long as the monarch in question faces checks and balances, and doesn't test them. Our queen is quite old as well, so we face a situation like this in the not too distant future.
She's not a symbol she is a real queen and she served her country her whole life. She faught at the end of world war 2. She helped Germany pick up the pieces from that horrible war. She didn't run from Hitler like lot's of European countries did. She is the top diplomat for the UK.

In a shocked state, I announced the news to my kids and a British couple walking by stopped dead in their tracks and said "What?" in the most surprised voice ever. I am really glad I got to share this moment with one of my British commonwealth cousins and I will always remember where I was and what i was doing when I heard the news.
The Queen has been around for so long, that we began to see her as Immortal. She was always there, she shall always be there. However nothing’s Forever. 😢
i still miss the queen, im of irish ancestry so i dont have a positive view of the royals as a whole, but Elizabeth II made many great choices in her reign and left the world a better and more peaceful place than when she entered it. She is one that hundreds of years from now will still be in the history books and on tests, its crazy living through history!
My family have never been huge royalists but it's surprising how deeply sad the Queen's passing has been because she meant many different things to people all over the world. I'm in my 30's and so she's always been part of British life for me and it seems odd without her now. All the cultural references she's been a part of..My Mum lost her mother when she was young so never got to see her grow old. The Queen was one month older than her mother so she always felt like she was watching the Queen's progression and wondering if her Mum would look the same etc. Now she feels like even that link to her parent's generation is gone.
57 ok my dear you are a very important person i really need you to save me i have been broke for a long time due to impossibility and it is difficult for me to find a job so i beg you the best of me find 5ghc for food aid please
I'm filipino, but i'm heartbroken when i heard the news... she's one of the most influential women in the world and it's just sad. I thought it was a joke made by the social media due to her old age but i never knew it was true. She just appointed truss as the new prime minister, then this news came. It's just sad... may her soul rest in peace.
When I heard about her passing it also moved me almost to tears. She has been on the throne for so long.... And no matter what happened - she was always there. I'm from the Netherlands. In our monarchy the Kings and Queen usually quit when they are around 75 years old. Would have wished for her that she would have been able to do as well. Retire somewhere in the country with her dogs and horses. But yes, I did feel sad.
Im American and a proud one at that. A Descendant of Scottish and Irish colonials who fled British rule. And while I still hold that old familial grudge for grievances long past. Going back through all this I cannot stop myself from weeping though I know not why. Not my Queen. Not my government. Not my country. Not even my people really. Not anymore. But words cannot express the depth of my sorrow for you all. I am so very sorry. May her Majesty Rest in Peace.
As an American, when I heard Her Majesty had passed, I was shocked. I had always thought, quite stupidly if I'm honest but still, that the Queen might live forever. She had been Queen my entire life. My heart aches for the people of the UK and the British Commonwealth. What people fail to realize is that Queen Elizabeth II cannot be held responsible for the actions of her predecessors. That would be the same as a modern day German, Italian, or Japanese person being held accountable for the actions of their parents or grandparents in WWII. Or the modern day French being held accountable for the Norman Conquest. It's simply idiotic. The Queen never did anything against her own people (or any other people that didn't attack first). And if you want to claim that she profited off the actions of her predecessors, so did every single leader ever elected. In any country. That's how succession works. Not to mention the companies is the capitalist societies around the world. War is big business for them. But you don't see us calling for their shutdown, do you?
I can’t even imagine how hard it will be for her family to mourn. Trying to process your grief while under constant scrutiny and with constant press coverage of your loss sounds absolutely horrible.
I remember I went to school one day and they told us the queen died after a 70 year reign she’s gone and she will never be our queen again😢rip 2 years later still so sad🤧
Of course, It's rare to live until 96 bcoz we all actually do some work for most of our life to feed us and our family. That bitch had lived entire life on State's money, doing nothing rather than roaming around and producing some babies
I’m an American and I wasn’t ready. She’s been on the throne my whole life. And watching her drive, interact with her dogs, wear her conservative “church mother” wardrobe, and go to the horse races was one of the few joys I had growing up. It was hard for me personally growing up and that may sound stupid that she was a joy in my rural American life. But I get why you have a monarchy. Maybe we won’t all become Duchesses, maybe she “didn’t do anything”, but it’s aspirational nonetheless. I’m not ashamed to be a Royalist. May Her Majesty rest In peace.
I'm a proud American but i recognize these are our relatives overseas that are grieving and i feel their pain. i never thought of the queen a day in my life but hearing her pass is like hearing the old world has died. My daughter is 6 and im glad we talked about the queen before she passed a few weeks ago. She got to see the last true queen of our lifetime and is very lucky to observe that history. your country isnt any weaker, but the world is lesser.
Its quite an unnerving feeling, feeling grief for someone I never met and only ever saw on the TV and at Christmas. I think the sheer magnitude of her loss is what does it for me. She was a true constant in the lives of myself the people of this great nation and knowing that we’ll never see again on our tv or at engagements is just deeply sad for all of us. Whatever your opinion is of the Queen, as i have read a lot of quite moronic and insensitive comments over the last week calling her a racist; coloniser, thief and a symbol of oppression of all things, remember that she was a instrumental figure of this nation and was greatly beloved by the people here and so at the very least pay us the respect of grieving our great loss without having to deal with your soap box propaganda.

I am no royalist nor British but her passing made me very sad. Everyone really did think she'd outlive us all and would always be there. She was one of the few certainties and now she is gone. May she rest in peace.
i doubt everyone thought she would outlive us all. although many of us were suspicious about the lizard alien theory. i was surprised that she lived for so long. it was quite amazing that she lived to 9083 years old. suspicious but impressive
I can’t even imagine. I understand that she was very old, but I was absolutely shocked (cause it seemed like she was immortal) and I’m an American, so I can’t imagine how British people felt 🥺
As the days go by, I realise as an Australian, that I am not going to see her lovely face any more and that is so sad for me. The Queen was an astounding beauty inside and out and the most loyal servant the world has ever known. Love to all who are grieving
I remember driving to my school and hearing that the Queen was not doing well (on the radio). Then I remember hearing she passed later that day. Hello from the U.S. (from the state of Wisconsin, to be precise).
Brazilian here, I was initially shocked and in disbelief when Her majesty passed away, it was like a part of me being taken The queen visited my country in 1968 and while I'm 19 yrs old currently, it still feels she's been there for a long time and her death was sudden
It is a sad affair, all around really. She was a different kind of monarch from her predecessors that kept a remarkably neutral stance and managed the affairs of state with dignity and honor. It's a pity that so many are taking the opportunity to throw the trash heap of history onto the grave of someone like that so viciously. Godspeed, UK.
It feels weird watching this again for the second time almost 2 months after the Queen passed away, feels longer ago than that. Despite the sadness there was a special feeling during those weeks. I definitely felt more connected to people at that time, I think we were nicer to each other. Rest in peace Ma’am x
I was so surprised when the Queen passed. I knew it was coming since she was already quite old and especially since Prince Phillip had just passed away but I didn’t properly process that it would happen. It felt like maybe the Queen somehow would be immortal. I was quite saddened by it. I was more upset about the Queen’s passing than my own grandfather’s death in 2021. Queen Elizabeth had been the queen for my whole life, my parents’ whole lives, and since my grandparents were babies. She was a constant throughout our whole lives. And she was a huge part of British identity. If you asked a bunch of random people what the first thing is that they think of when they hear the word “Britain”, I good chunk of them would say the Queen. Red Phone boxes, double decker buses, the royal guards, and the Queen. Those are the symbols of the UK. Even if I never met the Queen, she had a huge impact on my life. I live in New Zealand, my grandparents live in the UK. I would only get to see them once every 2 years for 6 weeks. Occasionally I would talk to them on a video call but I never felt like I had anything to talk to them about so I didn’t talk to them often. My grandparents haven’t been a big part of my life since I was a little kid. When my grandfather passed, nothing really changed for me. I never talked to him before so it wasn’t like I was suddenly missing his presence. Occasionally I forget he’s dead because my life feels exactly the same as when he was alive. The queen’s death has a much bigger impact on my life so I felt saddened by the news. I even feared up a bit when I found out because I was upset that my one constant that I could rely on was gone. I’m going to have kids one day and they’re only ever going to know Britain as having a king. That’s crazy to me.
@@HN-zr8mp the whole clip was about the queen passing away. That's what the hole video was about. How did you think she was talk about Diana? Diana was asked once if she thought she would be queen and she said "no I'd like to be the queen of people's hearts"

The lady from Germany was so sweet. Her reaction was heartbreaking, but it goes to show that the Queen touched so many people beyond just the British.
She did. And I particularly remember one photo, that was published in a newspaper here in Oslo where I live, actually before the official news of her death came out, the photo showed, not one but TWO rainbows, I believe it was in front of (or near) Buckingham Palace. She was a remarkable person.
I mean, she basically was german.

@@rudycarlson8245 Yes, the house of Winsor is actually the house of Hannover. But that didnt sound too good to the british public during WW1.
These reactions are just beautiful. Truly, they are. Don't take that the wrong way...I find it VERY touching and quite lovely to see how emotional everyone becomes when they learn of her passing...just goes to show how truly beloved she was. And I love to see the love and support just about everyone is giving King Charles. Wish we were more like this in the U.S.

Well said.
Very well said

It all feels so surreal. She's always been there for my entire life. I'm Canadian, and she was the Queen of Canada, as well. Her picture is on our money. We have many stamps with her picture. The highway south of where I live is named after her. There's a mountain range named after her in this province. If I go to Maligne Lake, I would see the range. I knew that this would come some day, but it felt like she would always be there, you know? It hit me harder than I expected. I've been watching videos of her amazing sense of humour. She seemed like a wonderful lady.
Same bro,I was driving by the QE2 highway today and then it hit.

She wasn’t queen of Canada. She was queen of the commonwealth which we are included in.

I think the queen is one of the most important people in modern history. She was deeply loved all over the world and faithful in her commitment to the Commonwealth.
God save our Queen.

It was hard for me personally growing up and that may sound stupid that she was a joy in my rural American life. But I get why you have a monarchy. I remember driving to my school and hearing that the Queen was not doing well (on the radio). Then I remember hearing she passed later that day. Hello from the U.S. (from the state of Wisconsin, to be precise).
Brazilian here, I was initially shocked and in disbelief when Her majesty passed away, it was like a part of me being taken
The queen visited my country in 1968 and while I'm 19 yrs old currently, it still feels she's been there for a long time and her death was sudden
It's lovely to see and hear how kind everyone is being. And the lady saying "she was the queen of our hearts" is perfect
Think she was on about Diana

Diana was asked once if she thought she would be queen and she said "no I'd like to be the queen of people's hearts"
