In the context of HM Queen Elizabeth II, may she rest in peace, the anthem would have changed 14 times during her regency.
As a historian, I am grateful that this monumental piece of history was recorded and is preserved for generations to come as it is literally the first time in the lives of so many citizens of the U.K. and the Commonwealth that this is performed. Thank you for ensuring that it was done. God Save the King!
Some are doing harmonies that give me goosebumps

Really a anthem that praises a person instead of motherland
@@nishantsoni623 If you don't know, most monarchs are above the kingdom.
A national anthem of a kingdom or an empire should be praising the monarch before the state.
Rest in peace Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II! May His Majesty King Charles III live long!
I'm also from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
