You can't explain how Scotland the Brave makes you feel, but you know it immediately. It goes right through you, making you rise up after getting knocked down again and again. - a US citizen.
Amen!
You're absolutely right ♥️
And you know it is home.
yeah no other feeling I could take on the world
Very well said mate!
My dad was not a scot, but he loved the sound of the pipes and drums.
The Black Bear was played at his funeral.
God bless dad.
I'm from the US and I love the pageantry and the ceremonial performance. Don't ever lose your love for your country. Well done.
I'm curious about the drummers and pipers at the rear - why are there so many different types/styles and colors of uniforms? What do they represent?
Never 🇬🇧❤️
@@baughhumbuglights8860Different platoons I’m guessing
We won’t 🏴🙏
I am from the U.S. as well, I was going to post the same advice. Scotland kicks ass!!! Keep at it, Scotland, you get a lot of love over here... I mean a LOT!!!
Long live Scotland and all Europeans who cherish their national heritage!!
Scotland the Brave! What a place, a people, a beautiful country!
Agree 👍 from the island of fortress of Malta ; George Cross , Europe 🇲🇹 🇪🇺
Hello Thomas - I count it as a highlight in my life that I spent some time (too short) in Malta seven years ago. Went everywhere, met people, in a low- key sort of way, ate the local fare, saw everything, I was in heaven. I had wanted to go to Malta forever, and I was not disappointed in any way. Your country still calls to me. Its history is more, just more, in all ways than any other. I am proud to be an American, but Malta does call to me.
As an Englishman, you cannot deny Scottish pipes, bands are truly something and always puts a lump in the throat, hairs stand up on my arms.
We have our banter, history, modern day we have to unite, more than ever before
God bless Scotland, keep her safe, keep her strong, protect her land from invaders.
Hope you do a better job than the English have done, good luck to you, from england❤
Isn't USELESS USef an invader and gave Scottish taxpayer's money to Hamas?
Have you seen Scotlands super Left politics, it was lost long ago
And the internal actions that are trying to destroy it from the inside
Too late.
I am Dutch, 50 years old. The bagpipes have made me emotional since i was a child. It is the most beautiful sound. Everytime i cry. ❤
Same here ! 70 year old American 🇺🇸.
Yep, they'll do that! ❤ 🇦🇺

I'm English married to a Scottish lassie for 40+ years and I never tire of hearing the pipes and drums. Mind you I've loved them since before I met her so now I have a double reason to live Scotland
Is it true the UK has been invaded by islamists
That whole lil Jacobite thingy?! Can we come home now?
Aye, my longest most serious gf was Scottish and I'm 6'4", with a big red beard, and I wear a Great Kilt in the woods, it's amazing to be able to wear something that doubles as clothes and a blanket, and doesn't restrict the movement with yer "boys" great for loping through the glens haha, I'm in Antrim, but they lured me in with redheads and whiskey lol

Very kind and sweet...
Americans really do care. we never volunteer to come help if we didn't

As a Greek I salute and pay my tribute to the brave and beautiful Scotland and the Scottish people.
💙 from a proud scot.
We always feel emotioal hearing the pipebands.
Thankyou, the greeks are a proud nation too
Scotland the brave WITH the Black Bear...me in tears and I am not even from Scotland but love it anyhow
Yeah, they do that --- it's a regular set with them. Welp, guess I should master _The Black Bear,_ which has a rather difficult phrase in the middle of it, if ever I want to run with the big guys.
When I hear the Black Bear being played it reminds me of listening to my Pipe Major playing it so many years ago now.
RIP Jim, I'll never ever forget you.
I am an American and my heart swells listening to this.❤
We Americans of the eastern highlands of the country where many Scottish people immigrated, thank you for all the Scottish traditions you brought to our country! God Bless you. I learned fried chicken came from your Scottish culture. Thank you! I hope before my life ends I get to visit Scotland, Ireland and Great Britain! You are on my bucket list! Love you all! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Fried chicken didn't come from Scottish culture. Stovies, mince and tatties, potato scones, Haggis, Black Pudding, Fruit Pudding, Scottish pies, Scotch Broth, Clootie Dumpling and so much more are what I remember from my childhood in Scotland. I do hope you get the chance to visit x
They're right, fried chicken did originate in Scotland.
My wife and I just got back from an epic trip to Scotland, England and Ireland. Highly recommend doing it.
From Belgium ! They liberated my country in two worldwar 's ....bless them thx❤
My Dad was there back in the days
Scotland the Brave is one of the if not the best marches of all time.
Have you ever listened to the Texas Aggie War Hymn? If you have not, please listen to it and let me know what you think about it.
All though I didn't finish all my training Scotland the Brave helped me survive a 50 mile force Mach in 102 heat in Louisiana 1974. I do have an Honorable Discharge.
It always gives me a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. It's overwhelming. I don't understand why it affects me so.
Very up lifting tune!

My late father served for the kings army as a captain. He was selected to call the marching regiment to order.
I hear him” by the left! Quick march!”
My hero, I’m 68 yrs this month.
Looking forward to seeing you again Dad.❤
I’m an American out of California and I was first introduced to Scotland the Brave and the sound of pipes and drums with the film, the Devil’s Brigade when I was about 5 years old.
I’ve never forgotten that iconic scene when the polished Canadians march to join a group of American roughnecks to form the First Special Service Force.
To this day, I am moved by the sound of pipe and drums and Scotland the Brave and Black Bear are my go-tos when I need a little inspiration and a 🔥 under my ass.
I’m less than 1/16th Scottish decent, but damn, my heart would believe otherwise when it hears those pipes.
Brought tears to my eyes. English but love Scotland - my late husband was Scottish. Long live Scotland, the bag pipes and the Edinburgh tattoo. Wonderful tradition
It always does 🇮🇪
I am not a Scot myself. I have been a Canadian citizen for half my life but at the sound of pipes I would not fear death in battle or elsewhere. So long live SCOTLAND THE BRAVE!!!

New Yorker here - I was only half-paying attention, waiting for the music to begin, then saw US Navy uniforms. THAT got my attention... What? Us Yanks here? Awesome ! Funny how we've fought against the Brits twice, with them more times than we can count, and they're still some of our best friends.... One of my best personal friends is a transplanted Brit. I am from Germany, never heard the pipes in reality, and dont ask why … I love them so much
In the Netherlands they like the bag pipes performing at the remembrance services for the fallen (especially WW2). My mom explained she had experienced them honouring the resistance in our province of Drenthe. Liberated by the Canadians, French and Polish. Lest we forget
I learned some decades ago that the Netherlands have never forgotten, and I have loved you all ever since.
@@MiltonFindley My city has been liberated by the Canadians... by the 4th tank division of the Lake Superiour Regiment... thank you🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
You mean, you should give thanks for the freedom you now enjoy because Great Britain endured and refused to surrender to the Nazi horde your country so readily surrendered to. p.s Apart from Ukraine, the Netherland's had the 2nd biggest non German Waffen SS brigades during WW2.
