6:46 nurgle is probably the oldest chaos god. He’s also the patron of cycle of death and renewal. So you die so something else can live and then die so something else can live. Also, you try to resist, you actually succeed, then accidentally cause your own downfall, and find yourself unknowingly or knowingly right back where you started.
When someone become a daemon prince is important only to be a mortal, not only humans, and no one take your soul but is take of in the proces if you don't have a strong will or bad luck but are some daemon princeses who keep their souls intact but not many times.
So, a bit of clarification on the Chaos Gods is that, as said in the video, they don't just represent bad things in our reality. Nurgle may be the god of disease, death, and decay, but he also embodies life, rebirth, cycles of life that dies and decays so that new life might grow. While yes he also brings about stagnation, he's also the reason why some things stay consistent in the materium. Tzeentch on the other hand doesn't embody anything that is purely bad of purely good. Magic can be used for any goal, no matter the intent, and while it's because of him there are people who can deceive others and plot against them, it's also because of Tzenntch that there are people who are clever enough to stop such plots and use their cunning for good. Khorne may represent war and hatred, but he is honorable and is even seen as a representation of justice in one culture or another. As for Slaanesh, there is nothing wrong with experiencing pleasure, it's just that Slaanesh more so represents the overindulgence of pleasure, no matter how it can be obtained. This is actually the problem with the Chaos Gods, they mostly ignore their good attributes in favor of what we perceive as terrible. Lastly, this is also the reason why no one can, or rather should, kill a Choas God. They are the physical embodiment of certain aspects of our physique as well as the universe. The consequences of killing one of them is too great to even conceive.
That makes sense! There's two sides to every coin and with them embodying the good and the bad they are probably central to life as we know it! Did we get the right?
@@GMineo Yep. Like it or not, the universe of Warhammer needs Chaos to survive. Back in the day, when the Emperor wasn't a rotting corpse on a Throne, he tried to weaken the Chaos Gods by forbidding the worship of them. In fact, religion in general was forbidden as the Emperor viewed religion to be a detriment to Human Civilization.
Nurgle care only about the corruption of the body letting you to do what you want and are two chases, like a guardsman who was infected and turn in a zombie but he feel free for the first time in his life or anather guardsman who wanted to re-join the imperial guard to fight the daemons of Nurgle but was gun dawn because was a plague zombie. But Nurgle make you to reborn because is also the god of rebirth and represent despair but it hate to see suffering reason why everyone infected by his plagues don't feel pain and represent not just the nature but more like the nature of the universe and don't realy hate anyone because of that and see everyone who don't like him only as ignorant. But because represent more the nature of the universe and all aspects of life is most old of all chaos gods, is most non-chaotic and see all his followers as his childrens.
There is actually one minor Chaos god, his name is called Malice. He is the Chaos god of anarchy, terror and pure chaos. He is the true form of Chaos itself, the only thing that this god wants is nothing more but destruction and anarchy. (Note: Malice was once cannon but it is still debated if he is still cannon until now. Also Malice has one warband(chaos version of the space marine chapter) called the sons of Malice

I always feel icky when people introduce the "nuance" angle with the Chaos Gods. I appreciate nuance, really I do. I completely understand the argument about their "good" aspects. I'm not a Taoist but yes, Yin and Yang, light and dark, the grey in between, I get all of that shit. You can appreciate it on an intellectual level but it should never be taken to heart. That's exactly what lures people to Chaos! The "nuance" angle sullies the grimdarkness of the 40k universe, which by its very nature throws nuance to the wind. The Chaos Gods are malignant cancers, self-aware cancers that want to consume their host even if consuming said host might very well lead to their own demise. Any solder talking about "nuance" in the 40k universe would have a commisar levelling his pistol at the backside of one's head.
You can thank great grandfather Nurgle for Covid19 I prefer Khorne and Slaanesh...what I'm a metal head and I have a sick twisted mind thanks to me watching texas chainsaw massacre and then Hellraiser at 7 years old.
