I’m glad you mentioned the cloning and the need for suffering as being survival. Frankly, a lot of lore channels don’t seem to explain that out of either laziness or a need to focus on specific Drukhari actions, factions, characters, or units. I like there aesthetic but that’s about it. When Chaos looks reasonable in its behavior compared to them, you know, you have disgustingly evil villains. I’m hoping you do tyranids/genestealer/ or start getting into more specific factions soon. A space marine chapter or Chaos Warband, ork Waaagh, Aeldari craftworld, Corsair group, or just named characters in general would be fun for your students! Time will tell I suppose I think my favorite Drukhari faction would probably be the Kabal of the Bleaksoul Brethern. They have shark-teeth and overtly nihilistic, pretty odd among the other Kabals. Poisoned Tongue is a VERY close second though! I can’t choose a favorite Wych cult or Haemonculi coven

My favorite Kabals would probably be Black Heart or Last Hatred! Black Heart for Vect and his many trollings, and Last Hatred because, I mean, they have the best disco ball in the webway!
I still remember When I first learned of the Dark Eldar. Who they are, what they do… They are the one sentient race in the Warhammer 40K Galaxy that I believe deserves genocide, complete and utter genocide. They are beyond any redemption, they’re not doing what they do to survive the craft world and exodite Eldar prove they don’t *need* to do the things they do. The orcs are basically program genetically to do what they do you can’t really blame them and the Nids, they are animals terrifying animals but animals all the same. There’s no excuse I know they say everyone in Warhammer 40 K is the bad guy, but If chaos isn’t the main bad guy then the dark Eldar are the main villains period!
One could make an argument that they do need to do it because they weren’t under the same circumstances when Slaanesh awakened so the others don’t get their souls slowly eaten, but that still doesn’t matter. It’s called consequences. The Asuryani and Exodites were the ones who thought it was bullshit, so they are good. The Drukhari did horrible shit to the end and are now running from the results.
Drukhari are very good at keeping beings alive. They just get bored after awhile.
