Amanda 83 glory to God!!!! My heart breaks for so many members trapped in the church- unable to see the deception, or unwilling to open Pandora’s box so to speak. I have many family and many friends in the church, they don’t acknowledge contradictions in the Book of Mormon to the Bible... I’ve tried to touch on the book of Isaiah (also) found in the Book of Mormon where it states there are no other Gods, Yahweh is the only has only ever been the only God, none before Him, and will only ever be the only for none come after Him. I find a lot of my friends have started families of their own, married fairly young some right out of high school, and now have children.... and I can sense so much fear within them of exploring any questions they may be having- for fear of losing their “eternal forever families” and it really pisses me off and breaks my heart beyond belief, that the church has played on the fears and emotions of it members to silence them, and stifle any questions they might be having... and because the church is so tight knit so many are afraid to leave because they feel they’ll have nothing left outside of the church because their families will turn on them too for apostatizing. Amanda if you don’t mind me asking- what was your “ah-ha” moment if you will ... was it one thing in particular a series of discrepancies leading up to your escape... I would love to hear. Because I was not born and raised Mormon I have often been an outsider, and a handful of my friends who weren’t in Mormonism when we were growing up converted as adults (typically because the boy they were dating was a good Mormon going on a mission etc...) I attended young women’s for a time, and even went to youth conference in the summer where I professed the church to be true because of the way it made me feel and not knowing the Jesus Christ of their church title was a counterfeit. (I renounce that confession, and have repented...) I was on the fast track to being baptized when an altercation with my mom lead to be being booted from the house where I went to live with my grandma... something I can only now attribute to my Lord and Savior His Grace and removing me from the snare of which I was about to be engulfed in. I’m always wondering what the “oh man” moment was for converts because I so DESPERATELY wish to effectively witness to my friends without offense. I know many will never leave their faith, they’ve been indoctrinated their whole life ... It’d be like waking up tomorrow after 30 years of praising and admiring the man you called Dad, to find out he isn’t even your dad and you were adopted at birth & lied to your entire life hoping you wouldn’t catch on. I could imagine the betrayal of it all would probably be the hardest part of discovering the truth... I’ve encountered many who have left the church and turned to Atheism because they’re so damaged by the hurt of it all. I’m so happy to hear you’ve found The One True Living God ♥️ My heart rejoices every time I hear of a Mormon converting and running into the arms of their True Father 💗 If you would like to share your story with me I would love to hear, on this comments section or even by email @ jjeangomez66@yahoo.com If not, I completely understand ♥️ just wanted to say Glory to God above all else and let you know how happy I am to know you got out. God bless sister ♥️
Daughter_ofthe_Most High Thank you for sharing your burdened heart for Mormon's with me. That's truly the saving love of our Jesus working in and through you. You are doing the absolute right thing in using the Bible alone to show them the truth, whether or not they seem to get it. I was raised in mormonism from the age of 9 till about my senior year of high school. I also said the the book of mormon was true and Joseph Smith and present day prophets were true... of course I didn't really understand what I was professing. I just knew my mom was a sweet mom and dad always took care of us well so I just figured it was all good. The older I got the more I distanced myself from mormonism bc it seemed off to me. It seemed impossible to live up too and way too different from my Christian friends I went to school with. I always longed for the ability to just " be right" with God somehow. Freedom in my mind to break free to find out the truth but I just kinda stayed spiritually paralyzed till 2008 when I was standing in my kitchen and HE moved over me. In my spirit GOD said, " Amanda, you are not right with ME. If you were to die right now you would not be with ME." Thats all I needed to get on with it! Lol I stood there knowing EXACTLY who just spoke to the core of my being... GOD, my Maker. I said aloud, " ok GOD! I don't know how to get right with YOU but I know YOu will show me." He first wanted to expose mormonisms false claim to have their Jesus as the true Biblical JESUS. HE used RUclips to do it! Now I know exactly why Mormon's are told not to read "anti Mormon" things....when told by someone coming out of mormonism or in this case someone still in the church but showing some issues of it's teaching and history it is very powerful! The LORD took me on a journey to the Cross and I was saved the next year. Godly preaching and teaching through RUclips first then a fellowship of believers at a Biblically sound church that HE led me to in a town called New Hope. HE set my heart on fire for HIM and a hatred for the darkness that keeps many blinded. So, what it comes down to is.... HE alone brought me out of a paralyzed, stagnant existence... set me free from error and is taking me through the sanctification process. My “aha” moment that started breaking chains was that day in the kitchen. HE spoke... I moved, no longer paralyzed 🙌❤️ If you want to know anything at all just let me know!
Amanda 83: It's awesome to hear you got saved on June 16, 2009, having been raised a Mormon. Praise God! I got saved on April 2, 1992, having been raised an Evangelical for 27 years since birth ('65), which is one of three Sects that make up the Apostate Church, which believe and teach another gospel, which is not another, and deceives many by that gospel they believe and teach. The Lord via the Holy Spirit revealed to me the end times on Dec. 21, 2012 thru the Book of Daniel. And not to put down pastor Jeff, but how he believes and teaches the end times is not according to scripture, which I can prove. If you are interested in knowing the truth about the end times then just post-reply, and I will gladly share. God is: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and these Three are one, Amen.
Greg Danielson I hope you are not planning to teach Amanda 83 the end time as seventh day Adventist belief. There is a lot of calculation with number they racionalize and since to be logical. However with should remember Jesus is not a liar. Again a lot of the things Jesus preach has happen in Scripture. We having in tribulation since Christ ascended to heaven and many antichrist and false prophest has enter the church. Immediately after Jesus died. Paul in it different letters.
Anglo-Catholic, here (I also embrace the term "Reformed Catholic"). I just want to say, as I'm watching this, that I LOVE your beginning talk about this NOT being a replacement for participation in the local church. I also love and agree with your understanding of the end times, as a former Dispensational Baptist. Finally, and most important, PRAISE GOD that I hear children crying in the video. We need children, even infants, to worship God together with us.
We have an amazing Anglo-Catholic church here in Melbourne, Australia called St. Peter's Eastern Hill. I attended like 5 or 6 services there a few years ago, probably some of the most beautiful worship services I've been to. The music alone was phenomenal.
Look into picking up the Reformation Study Bible (comes in either ESV or NKJV translation). I think you'd find it very useful if you're interested in reformed theology.
If you've ever attended Apologia Church while visiting or vacationing in Arizona you'd understand why Jeff's mic needs to be keyed up. LOTS of little ones in the congregation and they can be LOUD. :)
ChucksAreForShmucks I disagree. I love children, but they do not have the ability to understand the level of teachings and they distract the adults who do
@@warriorpoet667 Because we believe in the Family aspect of Covenant Theology. American family life is out of wack up on many levels and so one goal in our churches is to re-unite the family. Separating people & families based on age segregation is a motif of humanist or Greek thinking, not the Biblical model. In fact family government - that is the Subsidiarity of it, even predates the church, Adam & Eve being a family first, then a (small) congregation before the Lord. There's a lot more on this matter but that's hopefully an answer. I've never been to Apologia (yet) but I'm sure this is their thinking on the matter. Most church congregations I've been a part of follow this model. I may go to ReformCon next month- hopefully. Lord bless you - David in Texas
Mother Goose Okay, interesting. Thanks, this make more sense and I understand the reasoning for it. To follow up on that tho, shouldn’t it be the responsibility of the parents to do all of those things outside of the church within their families? I believe if the parents and kids are both in the word of God you don’t have to force them to be in the same service. I believe it doesn’t benefit either party to have them in the same service. Kids distract parents and the kids cannot understand the level of teaching being taught to their parents.
Man.. after being under such a heavy cloud, just like Jeff described when he was a child waiting for the rapture, etc, and on and on... and hearing and know and seeing Jesus and knowing His word well, I have and continue to grow in a deeper more reverent respect for God in how much He loves us, through Jesus, His faithfulness, and what I am called to be as a Christian. How many Christian's are deceived with this perspective of endtimes.. when God has set up and established His kingdom through Jesus here on earth, as He promised, and waits patiently for the flock to come in, as promised. Lord help us all, to depend on the spirit that you left to us, who leads and guides us into all truth, and shuts the mouth of the serpent.
I understand where Jeff is coming from. However, we are in the kingdom but not yet. You cannot read Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, 1 and 2 Thess, Revelation and really believe we are in the fully realized kingdom Kingdom now theology arose only after Constantine in the early 4th century. Polycarp, a disciple of John, believed znd taught a literal kingdom, as did Iraneus, Clement, etc. The reformers only went back to Augustine on eschatology. They still believed and taught a world government church. In this respect, they were still wed to Augustine Catholic theology. They recovered the gospel but, as with RC, they married it to this age. The age to come is so different.
@@marksorenson5871 I would agree but tried to be "gentler." The preterists like Durbin will literally interpret 5 or 6 passages and allegorize thousands. Durbin is a full flown Calvinist Protestant that does not understand that his eschatology is straight from Augustine and the RC kingdom now branch. It is beyond bizarre to even attempt to understand
@@marksorenson5871 Luke 17:20-21Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God was coming, he answered them, "The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, 'Lo, here it is!' or 'There! for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.'" Not everyone sees the kingdom, it's described as a mystery, but like the parable of the mustard seed, it's growing into its full consummation. "The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his field; it is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches."
Wow really!? There are so many references to the kingdom, being now, its unquestionable? But if your looking at it through the lenses of "I already know the truth," instead of, "maybe the truth hasnt really set me free" then you could learn something. That's the great thing about not being biased, gut letting the scripture peak to you, instead of you say what the scripture says. Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits. And the one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; and when it falls on anyone, it will crush him." Matthew 21:43-44 "But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in. Matthew 23:13 And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said to them again, "Children, how difficult it is to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God." Mark 10:24-25 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Matthew 12:28 But if it is by the finger of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Luke 11:20 And the scribe said to him, "You are right, Teacher. You have truly said that he is one, and there is no other besides him. And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices." And when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." And after that no one dared to ask him any more questions. Mark 12:32-34 Which Kingdom are you in?
@@cripsician Same kingdom. 3rd order doctrine. Question for your. Are nations still deceived? Is Satan still prowling, the god of this age? Have the hundreds of unfullfilled OT prophecies been fulfilled? You must throw out your hermaneutics to say we are un the kingdom. Love you brother but I interpret all passages the same and this includes 90% of of unfullfilled prophecies. You have to spiritualize them or allegorize via Origen and his Hellinized platonic worldview. The l>m
I so wish you had a playlist with this series!! I’m watching all of the teachings I can find on this topic on your channel, but so far they’re more “intro” sermons (about two years apart) where more in depth stuff is promised in the next week’s sermon, but I can’t find the next one in the series!! 😢
I love this sermon. I’ve always believed the tribulation happened in 70 AD. I haven’t heard all this yet, but I think that’s where he’s headed but I’d never thought of the fact that our eschatology can make Jesus look like a false prophet. So true! Thanks for this!
What occured in 70 AD was horrible for the Jews. But equally horrible and worse things have happened since then. Kingdom Now theology is just wrong. The King is not reigning from Jerusalem in this age. We do not have to go to Jerusalem to observe the Feast of Tabernacles to receive rain, there is not peace on earth. Jeff and others have to twist and distort so many passages to teach that Jesus returned in the 1st century. The nations are still being deceived. If Satan is bound, it must be a long chain.
@@marksorenson5871 Not sure if you mean 70 AD was the great tribulation of my comment on Biblical patterns. It is 2nd or 3rd order doctrinal issues unless we are in the last times of this age. Then it will truly become a 1st order doctrine only trailing the gospel of salvation. Time will tell. Although Durbin appears to be a full blown preterist, when the 3rd tenple gets rebuilt, only 1 major sign is left to be fulfilled and that is when the man of sin, the ain of perdition, the beast, most commonly known as the Antichrist, sits/stands in the rebuilt temple, declares to be God and demands worship. A pattern just like Nebuchadnezzar, just like Antiochus Epiphanes, just like the emperors ... what was will be. This is where reformed theology (a 15th century Hellenized humanist interpretation) misses the mark on how Jesus, Paul, John and Matthew interpreted the Hebrew scriptures.
Scott Harwell the King is not reigning now? Jesus seated at the right hand of the Father: “that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,” Ephesians 1:20 ESV “Then I saw in the right hand of him who was seated on the throne a scroll written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals.” Revelation 5:1 ESV “Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died-more than that, who was raised-who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.” Romans 8:34 ESV “He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,” Hebrews 1:3 ESV “who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.” 1 Peter 3:22 ESV “But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God,” Hebrews 10:12 ESV “So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.” Mark 16:19 ESV “And he said, "Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God."” Acts 7:56 ESV “Jesus said to him, "You have said so. But I tell you, from now on you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven."” Matthew 26:64 ESV “If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.” Colossians 3:1 ESV “And Jesus said, "I am, and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven."” Mark 14:62 ESV “Now the point in what we are saying is this: we have such a high priest, one who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,” Hebrews 8:1 ESV “looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2 ESV “But from now on the Son of Man shall be seated at the right hand of the power of God."” Luke 22:69 ESV
@@mscottharwell what happened in 70ad was the end of the age. The utter destruction of Jerusalem and all of its people, its temple the entire covenant. The new covenant was opened up with Christ. Christ is now the temple. The high priest. The King. For all of the people of earth. The things that happened to Jerusalem have never been equaled.
@@robertknight3354 To add on that, 2 great points: When people say 1/3 of the population will die during the tribulation. That would be worse on the surface than AD70 b/c around 1million Jews died then. But what about the flood, it took out every single person and animal except the 8 people on the ark and the animals on the ark - which is way worse than 1/3. Old Testament prophetic language is very hyperbolic. 2 Kings 18-5 "He trusted in the Lord God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him" Talking about Hezikiah 2 Kings 23- "And like unto him was there no king before him, that turned to the Lord with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him" Talking about Josiah It is hyperbolic language building up, saying 'this is a good king'. Exaggeration for dramatic effect. Abomination of Desolation: Titus was then being praised and worshiped in the Temple: Jospehus War 6 6-1, And now the Romans, upon the flight of the seditious into the city, and upon the burning of the holy house itself, and of all the buildings round about it, brought their ensigns to the temple, (18) and set them over-against its eastern gate. And there did they offer sacrifices to them: and there did they make Titus Imperator (19) with the greatest acclamations of joy In the Temple of the Holy God, now the Roman pagans are being worshipped - that is the abomination of desolation* 'his blood be upon us and our children' and it sure was. God bless brother.
Awesome stuff pastor Jeff. I assume that you do a lot of preparation for these sermons. Also assume that other people assist you in your preparation so not only am I thankful to Our Father for yours but also everyone @ apologia church and studios dilligence. I pray along with all of you that not only what is being preached is the correct interpretation of God's letter to us but that ultimately we get greater knowledge so we can give proper glory to Father Son and Holy Spirit. Can't wait for the next one.... James White RULES
Couldn’t agree with you more. I asked and prayed to the Lord to show me his word, and you speak on scripture and quote it. This helps me with my faith that the Lord brought your channel to me. Bless you all who are involved with these teachings.
Travis Anderson I like Ben too. He makes some good arguments on politics and other subjects. I don’t agree obviously that he doesn’t believe in Christ. Could you imagine if Jeff & Ben did an interview/podcast together. Now that would be a very interesting conversation. I think Jeff can handle Ben. He speaks well and knows the word.
Isn't Matthew 24:3-35 describing the end of Jerusalem and 24:36 onwards describing the end of the world? 24:36 says "that day and hour, no one knows", contrast with 24:35 saying that "this generation will not pass away until all these things take place"
Thanks brother Jeff for your honesty and reaffirming the truth about the end times...His return will happen...Jesus told us so, but the prophesies of scriptures must happen first...birth pains seem to be increasing.
Saying that all the things came upon that generation is not the same as saying that all the things are ONLY about that generation. The fact is that the Lord Jesus did not return in AD 70 and so it was not all finished then.
WHO EVER reads this please take time and read this message. We are living in a time where Right is Wrong and Wrong is right. So many people are leaving Christianity for other false doctrine. They are looking for wisdom from men rather than the Word of God(Holy Bible). “Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,” II Thessalonians 2:1-3 NKJV The weather is changing all around us. The Devil is using climate change as a pawn to deceive people into thinking it is natural causes rather than the Work of the Lord. Earthquakes and massive flooding. ““And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” Luke 21:25-26 NKJV We know not the day nor hour, but we will know the season and I’m not saying it’s happening today or tomorrow or in a month; for only God the Father knows that. Give your life to Christ before it’s too late. Let him enter your hearts and your life will change forever. “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.” Romans 10:9-10 NLT We believers should be excited for our redemption draws near. “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”” Luke 21:28 NKJV Praise the Lord Jesus Christ! All the Glory goes to you!👍🏼🎚❤️
Hi Dude Everything you described in Luke 21 about signs in the heavens and on the earth, the distress of nations and so on.. I hope you realise this is nothing new at all! They did have these problems in the 1st century. Romans 10:9 was a letter to believers, not unbelievers. The apostle Paul never went into the synagogues preaching such a message, never did he tell the Jews that all they had to do was to invite Jesus into their hearts.. Jesus never taught such a message and neither did any of the apostles. The message of salvation was always to repent and believe the gospel.
Hi Dude,Yes the Nations are distracted and in Darkness.God's Word is the only TRUTH WE HAVE.We see the Signs and need to draw close to our Creator and share it with others..Greetings from Germany
Peter Branscombe USA turned its back on God long ago, but when I see these new candidates running for president, it just breaks my heart... @@glynnjohnson4432 Or Knoxist, or Augustinian, or try plain biblical! To Telescope5061, it is confusing but not all churches spawned by the Reformation are Reformed in the way Jeff means. Lutherans, for instance, are Protestant but not 'Reformed'.
Thank you Pastor Jeff Durbin for your Truth for the truth of Christ you are a true man of God I love it I'm in Utah and you're in Arizona so if I ever moved to Phoenix which I would love to do Love to especially in the Tempe area I would want to go to your church I don't think Gilbert is that far from Tempe I would be looking to move to Gilbert if I do
What is a reformed church? I attend an independent baptist church. Would that be considered reformed? Are all churches that aren’t part of the Roman Catholic religion considered reformed?
No, only those that hold to the five points of Calvinism...well, at least that's how I and most others define it. So basically Reformed Baptist or Presbyterian.
Love your sermon on hermeneutics. But I do not see another coming coming. Jesus returned in 70 AD as HE Said. Where do you get an additional coming in our future
I'm sorry if I'm not understanding you but are you teaching that the Great Tribulation as spoken of in the Book of Revelation has already occured? Are you also teaching that most of what the book of rvelation teaches is allegorical? Ive watched a few of your videos and your teaching seems to be hinting at that.
There is no reformed church for us locally. The best we have is a standard Southern Baptist congregation and if you were to ask their theology, they would proudly say they are 3 point Calvinists, as if there was such a thing. Lol. I get all of my reformed preaching online but we are still engaged with our local church. Thanks for all you do, Pastor Jeff!
How will i know when i find the right church? Where do i even begin? There are 20 churches within 5 miles of my house. I need to go but i dont know where to start. I know i can eliminate a few right of the bat cause im. Ot going to the JW or Mormon ones.
If you have Amazon Prime video watch the 3 part documentary on the manuscripts. 1st video called "a lamp in the dark", 2nd video "Tares among the wheat"' and 3rd video "Bridge to Babylon". The apocrypha was added by the Catholic church (Jesuits) to counter the Reformers, those books contradict the true scriptures and doctrines. I do not trust the Codex Vacticanus and Codex Sinaiticus as authentic. I truly believe God has preserved His word through William Tyndale and the reformers and the KJV from the recieved texts and masoretic texts. But that's my opinion based off of evidence and eye witness testimony. The 3 part series is excellent.
@Saint Michael Pray for Us The apocrypha are gnostic teachings that are heretical. They were added into the canon of the "Catholic bible" to try and counter the reformation. The Catholic church and Jesuits hated the received text and KJV. The Vatican which is Antichrist in nature bases there bible off the Codex Vacticanus which just happened to "Magically appear" in 1475 in the Vatican vault.
@@hisglory3168 Thank you. I was following along and what he was reading didn't match my KJV. Then I started looking into Jeff Durbin and didn't like what I saw. Didn't realize he was a Calvinist either. As it turns out, Jeff is quite controversial. I won't be listening to him any longer.
resourcefulgirl Did you not hear him say that as the body of Christ, we need to put less important issues, aside and not let it divide the church?? We ALL believe in the fundamentals of the gospel.. Like the deity of Christ, the triune God, salvation by grace through faith alone, and so on.. You believe this, Jeff believes this.. so what’s the problem?? There are many non-Calvinists that watch Jeff all the time and agree with him on many things, they’re able to put all those small doctrinal differences aside and feel blessed by his teaching. I wouldn’t listen to what others are saying about him, as there are some out there trying to destroy his ministry! But if you can clearly see God working through this ministry in so many ways...than he must be doing something right! Listen to God, not man!
The only verse I can find that even hints at it is in Daniel 12:12 - "Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days." This countdown starts at the ceasing of the animal sacrifices and the abomination of desolation. So in my view, when you see Israel starting animal sacrifices again, even if there is no Temple, we are really getting so much closer to Christ's return. And I do not adhere to a Pre-tribulation doctrine because Paul says that we will see the Man of Lawlessness first in 2 Thessalonians 2. So my best guestimate is that when we first realize that the Anti-Christ has come and he performs some kind of sacrilege, there is an event of some kind that happens at day 1290 and then on day 1335. I think that the 1290 day prophecy refers to the second 3 1/2 year period and one of those years will be a lunar leap year, which in the Jewish calendar adds an extra 30 day month. I'm no Jewish scholar so I'm only guessing as best I can here. Which means there is a 45 day period of something before Jesus' return and quite possibly be a "shortened time" of the wrath of Satan. Look, eschatology is hard to understand. Here is one thing I know: don't be deceived! Jesus said that! It is of utmost importance.
Ariel Ministries.Org has a free Bible study called Come and See on their website. They have tasks and give a certificate at the end of the course. Wonderful study resource.
If you ever get a chance to read my post I have a question...twice Jesus said "you do err, not knowing the scriptures, we neither marry in heaven but are like God's Angels" now what scriptures is he quoting? I think it's the book of enoch.
Thank you for your faithful preaching. However, with all due respect I would like to say this: the main text in Matthew 24 is not dealt with. I have been listening to your sermons on Matthew 23&24. A lot of helpful things are repeated. But the exposition on the main text was what I wanted to hear about. Thanks and God bless you and your ministry!

Can someone tell me if the Nephilim survived the flood? I read in 2 Samuel 21 about the Philistine Giants. Are these giants (Goliath included) the descendants of Nephilim? I read in Gen 6-8 that God judged the world and created the global flood to destroy all animals and man while showing grace to Noah, his family, and the animals they brought.
Waiting for ALL those pre-millenniualists and dispensationalists, to come along and somehow destroy this sermon! I was a post-trib rapture person, never really believed in a so called “secret rapture.” And always had a hard time trying to wrap my head around the whole... literal “1000 year reign on earth,” Jesus setting up his physical kingdom on earth...especially when it doesn’t even mention such a thing ANYWHERE! And like so many.. I thought Daniel 9 was referring to the “antichrist” not Jesus. So when I first heard Jeff mention that Daniel 9 is about Christ.. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, and for a moment thought maybe he’s a false teacher and I would have to stop listening to him lol. But I never felt any conviction, so instead I kept listening and learning more and more! I ended up doing my own research and now everything makes so much sense and is just so clear! Today, I find it very sad the fact that a prophecy which is used to prove the Jews, that Christ was in fact the waiting Messiah.. Has now been totally destroyed and has become all about the end of the world and the antichrist!
I have a question about the Rapture. I understand that the Rapture is coming that all those that are saved will be the ones to see Christ and that will meet Him in the air before the Tribulation starts. Are you saying that there will be a Rapture or not? Love the video. Thanks.
(With love and kindness) We will go through the tribulation like Jesus taught. Right now 2019 in China Christian's are beaten and killed and church buildings burned to the ground and ISIS killing many Christian's in the middle east the past several years. So where is the rapture for them? Where is the rapture for me when I get persecuted for preaching gospel for almost 4 yrs now. Jesus taught to be ready for when these end times signs happen.
@@elijahtreman2434 I don't believe that. I believe that those that are saved now will be Raptured and the rest will go through the Tribulation and will have another chance to accept God.
(With love and kindness) that still does not explain or negate the fact that saved Christians around the world are being persecuted and killed for their faith in Jesus including me. So where is the rapture for us. The thing is, the idea of being raptured before the suffering comes is an American belief and not in the bible. However, we will not go through Gods wrath which is what so many pastors and believers think is the tribulation. You must realize there is Gods wrath and satans wrath against believers which is already happening across the world. Jesus said it himself, in the end times because of persecution and suffering many will fall away from the faith. The parable of rhe sower explains this too. Get ready to be able to stand firm in the faith when these things happen. Peace be with you.
@@elijahtreman2434 The Bible also says that before the Rapture the times will be worse for Christians. These times are nothing compared to the Tribulation. In the first 3.5 years Millions of people will die from disasters, war, and famine. In the last 3.5 years the one will reveal to be the anti-christ.
@@Datrebor exactly you are definitely correct friend. If we cant handle satans wrath/tribulation now, then we may not be able to endure it when it happens. That's why we need to get ready. You see the thing is, the vast majority of Christians are not getting ready because they don't follow Jesus. If they did actually follow Jesus then they would be persecuted and hated. Instead they just keep their faith quietly to themselves when their suppose to proclaim the gospel. I do online and street preaching and many want to kill me. This is a great blessing because it helps true believers prepare for when all nations will hate and turn against Christians. Peace be with you.
A suggestion brother, if there are zero reformed churches near you get your family together, or people you know in town that are reborn. Start a small gathering and worship the Lord and include a bible study etc.
There should be plenty of Presbyterian churches in Scotland and they're Calvinists...they do baptize infants (which I don't personally agree with) but aside from that, the theology is all there. I'm sure you can find one. If not, you may have to move. It's not uncommon for people to relocate when finding a church. It is the most important thing in your life, after all...
25 “Therefore thus says the Lord God: Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel, and I will be jealous for my holy name. 26 They shall forget their shame and all the treachery they have practiced against me, when they dwell securely in their land with none to make them afraid, 27 when I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them from their enemies' lands, and through them have vindicated my holiness in the sight of many nations. 28 Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations and then assembled them into their own land. I will leave none of them remaining among the nations anymore. 29 And I will not hide my face anymore from them, when I pour out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, declares the Lord God.” Ezekiel 39:25-29
I have not read any evidence that Revelation was written prior to 70 a.d. There is evidence, however, that it was written near the end of the 1st century (96 a.d.). Iraneaus is an example. Jeff's earlier dating is necessary for his Preterist view to hold any water at all.
The scripture testifies to it. John is told to measure the temple and to leave out the the outer court because it had been given to the Gentiles. The temple was not destroyed until 70 AD by Domitians brother Titus who commanded the armies of rome in the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. The temple was on fire and he had his soldiers remove the bricks of the temple stone by stone; this was Just as Jesus Prophesied. It had to be written before then.
My church, which is 100% dispensational, teaches that Daniel 9, the passage about the 7 weeks - 3 1/2 weeks is about the antichrist!😮 Hows that for blasphemy.?😮
Godly fear produces repentance, why? Because you are convinced that if you remain the same wretched sinner then you believe in your heart that God's judgment will abide on you! This in turn gives you the passion and drive to become more like your Savior!
He had a cult in the 90s called the branch davidians. They had alot of people in a single location teaching about how hes a prophet and such. He was really really serious on end time prophecy/Revelation. The government/FBI thought he had alot of guns. They were peaceful, however, the FBI and government officials kept bothering them badly and it ended up In a huge shoot out and the whole place burning up in flames. Tanks were circling the complex for days, it was a really big mess up by the US government and many innocent people died.
I don’t subscribe to a particular end times model for all these reasons. Remember John Hagee and his blood moon rubbish? Ah the damage it causes. However I hope there is some sort of rapture because I’ve had enough of my sinful wicked nature and struggles in life. I yearn for Jesus to complete his work in me. But I also do think that end time events are coming together like Ezekiel 38 and Isaiah 17, the technology for the Mark. But his will be done he knows the beginning from the end and I know nothing other than to trust and obey. So I just try to keep on growing in him and trying to love a life that pleases him.
irvin Cruz What is your biblical argument and references for this position? I’m not being argumentative I’m just curious because I don’t have the academic knowledge to form an opinion one way or the other
@@soylentgreen6727 i dont have none because the bible never mentions it they pull scriptures out of context to prove the rapture when its talking abt the resurrection like in thessalonians
Kudos for the video content! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you tried - Diyhloern Phrenic Dominion (should be on google have a look)? It is a good one off guide for preparing you and your family for any crisis without the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my mate at very last got astronomical results with it.
sounds like fear that would tell you this. if anyone comes to God to be reconciled to Him through Jesus, HE is FAITHFUL and just (He has the right to do it only) to forgive us of ALL of our sin. you can be made justified completely, for all time, through Jesus Christ's blood sacrifice. trust God to do as He relentlessly promises, which is to show kindness and mercy. no sins of your's will ever be stronger than His power of salvation. receive the Holy Spirit, and seek God with your whole heart. get further connected to His Word and to a local church. you can be forgiven, and as you grow, you will find that your will to sin is less and less. be at peace. peace is a big part of God's will for you.
What have you done that should make you think this way? Don't you believe the PRAYER of JESUS on the cross for you is able to deliver you? Lk.23:34 '....FATHER, forgive them, for they know not what they do...' Heb.7:25 'Wherefore HE is able also to save them (you) to the uttermost that come unto GOD by HIM, seeing HE ever lives to make intercessions for them (you).' The MERCIES of GOD endure forever. Do not be deceived by Satan, but believe with all your heart in HIS MERCIES. HIS MERCIES enable you to triumph over condemnation. Jam.2:13
@@acevirtueson997 Theres about a dozen of them in case you're still looking. I'm sure there were several before this was posted. This is a posted sermon from a Sunday service. Sometimes they're posted chronologically sometimes not. The people in the seats got the follow up the very next Sunday.
For whatever it's worth, some fantastic scholarship on Revelation can be found in Robert L. Thomas' two-volume work "Revelation: An Exegetical Commentary." Another great book is Dr. John MacArthur's book "Because the Time is Near."
The Word of God is not a side issue if you doubt part of it that's the door the enemy will come through and eventually get you to doubt the so called major issues. e.g bad eschatology results in cults with a different Jesus.
Sorry but God never tells us to join a Church!!! Frankly, at this time, it is best to stay out of the Churches!!! Too many compromised pastors in these end times! All you need is the bible and the Holy Spirit who dwells within the saved. A bible concordance is helpful too!!!
Even if God didn't tell us to join a church (which he actually does in Hebrews 10:25) you should still be a part of one. I agree that finding a good church is hard in these perilous times and I still haven't found one myself but that's no excuse to give up. The broken and fallen world around us just means we need each other more than any other time before. Being a part of like-minded believers, encouraging one another, teaching and learning from one another etc is a big part of any Christian's walk. Please don't neglect it because of a few bad apples.
Repackaged pretorism...when the scripture says "He cometh with clouds and every eye will see Him" that is exactly what it means. The olivet passages are a prediction of 70 AD with an ultimatum fulfillment at the end of the age. Did Jesus separate the sheep from the goats in 70 AD? Jewish prophecy is pattern...he is looking at this with a helenistic view.
Where the sheep and goats part of the Olivet Discourse? If you know the history of the Jewish Rebellion 66-70AD then you will see how the Olivet Discourse and also much of Revelation was fulfilled in 70AD. Full Preterism is heresy because it insists that the Second Coming and Resurrection and Last Judgement all occurred as well in AD 70. However what is now known as Partial Preterism is fully consistent with Amillennial, Post-Millennial and even Classical Premillennial views. It is only Disp.Pre-Millers who have a real problem with what Jeff is saying, and as he pointed out they are the 'new kid in town'. Historical, doctrinally orthodox, Christianity has no problem with this!
Pretribulational dispensationalism is a false doctrine as it relates to the timing of the harpazo but is correct that Jesus will return and establish a literal kingdom. With this said, hyper preterism like Jeff teaches is equally false because it denies a literal kingdom. To believe all of the signs, including the return of Jesus, was fulfilled in 70 AD is borderline insane. As with most post or amillenials, Jeff changes his hermaneutics when dealing with eschatology. They have to allegorize and spiritualize away all of the unfilled prophecies of the Old and as well as the New Testament. Jeff employs a Greek interpretation to a Jewish text. Jewish thought was a pattern. Think of a series of circles moving towards a final ending as opposed to a straight line. In this respect preterism is partially true in that 70 AD the temple was destroyed. Historicism is also true based on the Islamic mosques. Poemicism is also true. But so is futurism. When a person uses Jeff's hermaneutic, it cannot be consistently applied. A great example is the 1,000 year kingdom mentioned 6 times. They throw out the clear language and teach that Satan is bound and not deceiving the nations. Never mind all of the verses teaching he is the god of this age, prowls like a roaring lion, etc.
What eschatological necessity dictates a literal 1,000 year kingdom? Is Jesus not Lord of every square inch of the universe, Master of every particle of matter right now? Are you and I not members of His eternal kingdom this very day? Of course the kingdom has yet to be fully realized. We make this more complicated than it has to be.

Tranquil Waves Well if David is already dead, how can this be referring to David?? Jesus was a descendant of David and is currently sitting and reigning on the davidic throne. He is the one shepherd that is referring to.. who also brought the new covenant with him. Daniel 9:27 tells us this was him.. ‘And he shall make a STRONG COVENANT with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering.’ Because HE was the ultimate sacrifice!

@@specialk7715 Jeff has this wrong. If the temple had been destroyed between 31 and 37 AD, perhaps his interpretation would make sense. But it was 70 AD, at least 46 to 35 years post crucifixion. You cannot squeeze 7 years in to 45
this is preterism.it is not past its future .listen to joel richardson or fai app on complete teaching on daniel matthew and revelations .i love jeff but hes just plain wrong here
My disagreement here would be that he clumps all the prophecy into a localised argument and then creates the strawman that dispensationalists clump it all into a future prophecy. The disciples ask 3 questions. (1) When is this temple going to be destroyed. (2) When are you going to restore Israel? (3) When is the end of the age? Is he really arguing that all Jesus said concerned only the next generation. Considering his words were only written down and spread much later this would have not been useful to those who finally got to read it after its total fulfillment. I believe he is dealing with multiple issues. Both localised and near and global and far. The debate is which are which. Not is it all the one or all the other.
Summary: Eschatology is important. FAQ: Did Jeff explain his personal view on Eschatology? No. What did he do for an hour? Ramble. Why does Jeff call himself a pastor? He loves the preeminence. Doesn't Jeff know a pastor is to feed the flock of God? Probably. If Jeff likes the preeminence, but doesn't want to feed the flock of God, then what should he call himself instead of pastor? Theologian.
This isn't the only sermon he has preached on eschatology. This one might help answer some of your questions: ruclips.net/video/48mI96wle94/видео.html As for your other accusations, that's pure conjecture, bordering on slander. You don't know his heart, no-one does. That's God's call to make. He makes a terrific pastor imo, anyone at Apologia would attest to that. And why can't someone be a pastor and a theologian? Are the two mutually exclusive now? His mentor James White is both (technically an elder, but you get the gist).
@@skippy8696 Theologians are self proclaimed experts of the bible. Only a theologian would pastor like Jeff, since he's not feeding the flock. In otherwords he just talks a lot, but doesn't say anything. Just like his buddy James White.
@@Nxsai You clearly haven't watched many of their sermons then, I know I've learned a lot watching them. Anyway, I suggest Dr. White's expository preaching series on the book of Hebrews as a good starting point. If that's not "feeding the flock" I honestly don't know what is.
@@skippy8696 No I haven't watched a lot of his videos. I was interested in what he teaches about the end times, though. Instead of him teaching, I got a nice and fuzzy "eschatology is important" LOL That tells me all I need to know about what kind of pastor this guy is.
@@Nxsai Really? You judge a pastor's qualifications based on one sermon that really wasn't all *that* bad? Jeff Durbin is more qualified to lead a church than most. Amen! Great sermon! By the way, I was raised mormon BUT I was saved on June 18, 2009. I still haven't gotten over it and I pray I never do.
I’m so happy to hear you’ve found The One True Living God ♥️ My heart rejoices every time I hear of a Mormon converting and running into the arms of their True Father 💗
If you would like to share your story with me I would love to hear, on this comments section or even by email @ jjeangomez66@yahoo.com If not, I completely understand ♥️ just wanted to say Glory to God above all else and let you know how happy I am to know you got out.
Amanda, exmormon here, Praise God that you got free! Blessings to you in Jesus Holy name. 💞🙏💙
Love how Jeff breaks all this down using scripture. There was a time when I’d never heard of hermeneutics. Well done, thank you!
This legitimately made me grin :) I love kids in the congregation, even if they're loud, it's a joyful comforting noise.
I’ve been there as well. Why is there no children’s church??? I should of asked him honestly
ChucksAreForShmucks I disagree. I love children, but they do not have the ability to understand the level of teachings and they distract the adults who do

Because we believe in the Family aspect of Covenant Theology.
American family life is out of wack up on many levels and so one goal in our churches is to re-unite the family.
Separating people & families based on age segregation is a motif of humanist or Greek thinking, not the Biblical model.
In fact family government - that is the Subsidiarity of it, even predates the church,
Adam & Eve being a family first, then a (small) congregation before the Lord.
Won me over from the start to 2 min and 17 seconds. Speaking truth with love, very very impressed!

@@rosarioperez7509 but that assumes Jesus is talking about our generation when He is prophesying this.
still waiting for Jesus eh?
Thank you Pastor Jeff! My eyes are open now. Glory to God.
Man.. after being under such a heavy cloud, just like Jeff described when he was a child waiting for the rapture, etc, and on and on... and hearing and know and seeing Jesus and knowing His word well, I have and continue to grow in a deeper more reverent respect for God in how much He loves us, through Jesus, His faithfulness, and what I am called to be as a Christian.
You cannot read Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, 1 and 2 Thess, Revelation and really believe we are in the fully realized kingdom
Kingdom now theology arose only after Constantine in the early 4th century.
And the one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; and when it falls on anyone, it will crush him."
Matthew 21:43-44
"But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in.
Matthew 23:13
And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said to them again, "Children, how difficult it is to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God."
Mark 10:24-25
But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
Matthew 12:28
But if it is by the finger of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
Luke 11:20
And the scribe said to him, "You are right, Teacher.

@@robertknight3354 To add on that, 2 great points:
When people say 1/3 of the population will die during the tribulation. That would be worse on the surface than AD70 b/c around 1million Jews died then. But what about the flood, it took out every single person and animal except the 8 people on the ark and the animals on the ark - which is way worse than 1/3.
Old Testament prophetic language is very hyperbolic.
2 Kings 18-5 "He trusted in the Lord God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him" Talking about Hezikiah
2 Kings 23- "And like unto him was there no king before him, that turned to the Lord with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him" Talking about Josiah
It is hyperbolic language building up, saying 'this is a good king'. Exaggeration for dramatic effect.
Abomination of Desolation:
Titus was then being praised and worshiped in the Temple: Jospehus War 6 6-1, And now the Romans, upon the flight of the seditious into the city, and upon the burning of the holy house itself, and of all the buildings round about it, brought their ensigns to the temple, (18) and set them over-against its eastern gate. And there did they offer sacrifices to them: and there did they make Titus Imperator (19) with the greatest acclamations of joy
In the Temple of the Holy God, now the Roman pagans are being worshipped - that is the abomination of desolation* 'his blood be upon us and our children' and it sure was.

Isn't Matthew 24:3-35 describing the end of Jerusalem and 24:36 onwards describing the end of the world? 24:36 says "that day and hour, no one knows", contrast with 24:35 saying that "this generation will not pass away until all these things take place"
no
Thanks brother Jeff for your honesty and reaffirming the truth about the end times...His return will happen...Jesus told us so, but the prophesies of scriptures must happen first...birth pains seem to be increasing.
Saying that all the things came upon that generation is not the same as saying that all the things are ONLY about that generation. The fact is that the Lord Jesus did not return in AD 70 and so it was not all finished then.
I really hope that you post the full series.

““And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”

What does Jeff Durbin mean by a "reformed church" (at 01:01)? Is that a general term from "reformation movement" or is that something more specific?
He means Calvinist
@@glynnjohnson4432 Or Knoxist, or Augustinian, or try plain biblical! To Telescope5061, it is confusing but not all churches spawned by the Reformation are Reformed in the way Jeff means. Lutherans, for instance, are Protestant but not 'Reformed'.

An awesome start with some real truth.

Curious as to your thoughts on the KJV?
@@hisglory3168 I agree and thanks for telling me about the 3 part documentary. I'm going to watch them this weekend.
resourcefulgirl Did you not hear him say that as the body of Christ, we need to put less important issues, aside and not let it divide the church??
So is there any verses that actually teach when the actual last day and judgement on humanity happens?
I really learned about false prophets today. Thanks

I was a post-trib rapture person, never really believed in a so called “secret rapture.”
And always had a hard time trying to wrap my head around the whole... literal “1000 year reign on earth,” Jesus setting up his physical kingdom on earth...especially when it doesn’t even mention such a thing ANYWHERE!
I can't find any true Christian church near me. Please help me find some good people. Any ideas? I live in Scotland, near the Borders. (Midlothian).
Allison Gasparini Praying that you find a church home
A suggestion brother, if there are zero reformed churches near you get your family together, or people you know in town that are reborn. Start a small gathering and worship the Lord and include a bible study etc.
There should be plenty of Presbyterian churches in Scotland and they're Calvinists...they do baptize infants (which I don't personally agree with) but aside from that, the theology is all there. I'm sure you can find one.
If not, you may have to move. It's not uncommon for people to relocate when finding a church. It is the most important thing in your life, after all...
Rev1:1 ,rev 22:6, rev 22:10 which is in contrast to Dan 12:4.
In other words, the church hasn't replaced Israel.
Great video! Thank you.
Preach brother.
Great teaching. I learned alot. Thanks
As a sound guy, that microphone was driving me nuts.
Godly fear produces repentance, why?
Because you are convinced that if you remain the same wretched sinner then you believe in your heart that God's judgment will abide on you!
This in turn gives you the passion and drive to become more like your Savior!
Outstanding message!
Who ... is David Caresh.... or what ever his name is??. Anyone knows??? I'd love to know, if anyones knows.... You know what i mean, I Guess....
David Koresh.
Their is no rapture

What is your biblical argument and references for this position?

Well done!

Even a sneaky RC Sproul quote in there - "What's wrong with you people". 43:42
Be patient for part 2, he needs time to make it up... I do agree that we need not fight over these things though. He's wrong, but I still love him.
"We need not fight"

I think I won't be forgiven any more please help
sounds like fear that would tell you this.
if anyone comes to God to be reconciled to Him through Jesus, HE is FAITHFUL and just (He has the right to do it only) to forgive us of ALL of our sin. you can be made justified completely, for all time, through Jesus Christ's blood sacrifice. trust God to do as He relentlessly promises, which is to show kindness and mercy. no sins of your's will ever be stronger than His power of salvation. receive the Holy Spirit, and seek God with your whole heart. get further connected to His Word and to a local church. you can be forgiven, and as you grow, you will find that your will to sin is less and less. be at peace. peace is a big part of God's will for you.
What have you done that should make you think this way?
Don't you believe the PRAYER of JESUS on the cross for you is able to deliver you? Lk.23:34 '....FATHER, forgive them, for they know not what they do...'
Heb.7:25 'Wherefore HE is able also to save them (you) to the uttermost that come unto GOD by HIM, seeing HE ever lives to make intercessions for them (you).'
The MERCIES of GOD endure forever. Do not be deceived by Satan, but believe with all your heart in HIS MERCIES. HIS MERCIES enable you to triumph over condemnation. Jam.2:13
Hold on, I'm going to spend an hour explaining how to hear and receive what I'm going to tell you....in my next sermon!
Still waiting for that sermon.
@@acevirtueson997 Theres about a dozen of them in case you're still looking. I'm sure there were several before this was posted. This is a posted sermon from a Sunday service. Sometimes they're posted chronologically sometimes not. The people in the seats got the follow up the very next Sunday.
WHERE IS THE GREAT TRIBULATION ?????
For whatever it's worth, some fantastic scholarship on Revelation can be found in Robert L. Thomas' two-volume work "Revelation: An Exegetical Commentary." Another great book is Dr. John MacArthur's book "Because the Time is Near."
The title does not match the sermon...... Lots of finger pointing and word play
Looks like the pastor has the horses in the back
This was great till the mic. Went wonk!
The Word of God is not a side issue if you doubt part of it that's the door the enemy will come through and eventually get you to doubt the so called major issues. e.g bad eschatology results in cults with a different Jesus.
That volume adjustment half way through I was like 🙌😂
Sorry but God never tells us to join a Church!!!

@@paulcharlwood702 Yeah, the sheep and goats actually are part of the Olivet sermon..there is no such thing as chapter 25 in the original text.

Perhaps I should call you Brother instead of Pastor. I was only revering you as Pastor to respect your title.
Whoa, your hot! When I say you I mean your mic! The feedback is unreal!
Ezekiel's FUTURE PROPHESY: Written ~400 years AFTER David's death, not before!!!
Ezekiel Birth/Death:
(622 BCE thru 569-570 BCE)
David's Birth/Death:
(1040 BCE - 970 BCE)
Ezekiel 37:24-26
24 And DAVID MY SERVANT shall be KING OVER THEM; and they all shall HAVE ONE SHEPHERD: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
25 And they shall DWELL in the LAND that I have GIVEN unto JACOB my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and MY SERVANT DAVID shall be their PRINCE FOR EVER.
26 Moreover I will make a COVENANT OF PEACE with them; it shall be an EVERLASTING COVENANT with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them FOR EVERMORE.
**Don't see Jesus name as our ONE SHEPHERD or PRINCE FOREVER or EVERLASTING PEACE COVENANT anywhere in these verses or any others in the OT, for that matter!! Only Beloved King David, our True Messiah!!
Uhhhhhh Isaiah 53.... Daniel 9....
‘And he shall make a STRONG COVENANT with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering.’
Because HE was the ultimate sacrifice!

Jesus genealogy is contradictory & unclear.
Matt states there are 27 generations from David to Joseph.
Matt 1:17
Yet, Luke 3:23-38 says there are 42 generations from David to Joseph.
Which is it?? And, why after David......do they NOT MATCH??
Abraham to David match exactly in not only Matt and Luke, but in Ruth 4:18-22 as well.
Matthew lists Joseph's father as Jacob.....yet,
Luke lists Joseph's father as Heli.
Will Joseph's real father PLEASE STEP FORWARD??

23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so SHALL THEY BE MY PEOPLE, and I WILL BE THEIR GOD.

FAQ:
Did Jeff explain his personal view on Eschatology?
This one might help answer some of your questions: ruclips.net/video/48mI96wle94/видео.html
As for your other accusations, that's pure conjecture, bordering on slander.
Instead of him teaching, I got a nice and fuzzy "eschatology is important" LOL
That tells me all I need to know about what kind of pastor this guy is.
@@Nxsai Really? You judge a pastor's qualifications based on one sermon that really wasn't all *that* bad? Jeff Durbin is more qualified to lead a church than most. He has a great understanding of church history and the original biblical languages, he uses sound logic and reason backed up by scripture and genuinely cares about his flock -- and that's not including all the work he does on the streets giving the gospel to cult members and saving children from abortion.
