I travelled to Morocco 10 years ago and my lovely young Muslim guides took us to the old Jewish quarters, and said very sadly we miss our Jewish ppl. He was quite sincere as he had no need to say this to us. He genuinely meant it.

Yes they had others laws to follow but they worship the same God, they speak the same language and shared many cultural traditions. From my reading and listening to radio programmes on history and science I have learned that until the 12th Century, when, I understand, a group of anti learning Imams, just like the later Catholic church, changed the path, Islam, while treating Jews and Christians as 2nd class citizens throughout the various Caliphates, did not persecute them. It was beautiful when he explained that he looks at the world through religious eyes and not through any personal bias or personal thought. I went to the Muslim part of Eilat in Southern Israel with a Holocaust survivor for lunch. Every single Muslim person in the very popular restaurant we went to stood up to welcome her and called her mother as they came one by one to greet her and us. There’s no such thing as a Palestinian State, it’s a modern invention. Syria-Palestina was a Roman jurisdiction and the name Palestine comes from Philistia which were not Arabs. The Jews have always been there, even during the diaspora the Jews always maintained a presence in Israel. In the 1800’s there were many people who visited Israel and took extensive notes on what was there. Among them was even Mark Twain. Where were the Palestinian people in that era? The Arab presence outside of Jerusalem itself(where Arabs were a minority) was basically non-existent. So-called Palestinian Arabs were literally migrant workers that came into the country to get work from the Jews who were trying to rebuild the Israeli State during the British Mandate. I travelled to Morocco 10 years ago and my lovely young Muslim guides took us to the old Jewish quarters, and said very sadly we miss our Jewish ppl. He was quite sincere as he had no need to say this to us. He genuinely meant it.
It was genuine because the Jewish people in Muslim countries were off those countrie for centuries. Yes they had others laws to follow but they worship the same God, they speak the same language and shared many cultural traditions.
Muslims had protected the Jews throughout the centuries until the zionists came. Some left voluntarily others by force and some by violence done by zionists dressed as Arabs. Many Muslims really felt ashamed they couldn't protect their beloved Jewish neighbors against "their own."
But what I see happening now unfortunately is israeli European jews now move to countries like Morocco and claim properties that used to be of Jewish citizens. The Moroccan people living there are loosing their properties to these people since a couple of years now, regardless of the paperwork they can present in court to proof their ownership.
It's really sad.

From my reading and listening to radio programmes on history and science I have learned that until the 12th Century, when, I understand, a group of anti learning Imams, just like the later Catholic church, changed the path, Islam, while treating Jews and Christians as 2nd class citizens throughout the various Caliphates, did not persecute them. In fact apart from their legal status they appear to have been respected as other People of the Book. A glorious period of learning and scolarship which formed part of the basis for the European Rennaiscance.
I have recently learned that the Muslims of the later ages welcomed Jews who were fleeing Christian persecutions.
My mother, an English Christian, grew up in hhe East End of London among Jewish immigrants, mostly fleeing pogroms in Russia and Poland and later Austria and Germany. There’s no such thing as a Palestinian State, it’s a modern invention. Syria-Palestina was a Roman jurisdiction and the name Palestine comes from Philistia which were not Arabs. I have to add: in the small town where my late mother and her family lived before they were expelled by the communists in 1945 from Bohemia/ Moravia what is now Czechoslovakia, the Germans there lived together peacefully with the Jews. My late German mother said that everybody got along together very well including the Jews, and I will never forget this. Concept of God in Hinduism:
Indeed, most Hindus would attest to this, by professing belief in multiple Gods. While some Hindus believe in the existence of three gods, some believe in thousands of gods, and some others in thirty three crore i.e. 330 million Gods. However, learned Hindus, who are well versed in their scriptures, insist that a Hindu should believe in and worship only one God.
We can gain a better understanding of the concept of God in Hinduism by analysing Hindu scriptures.
#UPANISHADS:
The Upanishads are considered sacred scriptures by the Hindus.
The following verses from the Upanishads refer to the Concept of God:
"Ekam evadvitiyam"
"He is One only without a second."
[Chandogya Upanishad 6:2:1]1
"Na casya kascij janita na cadhipah."
"Of Him there are neither parents nor lord."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 6:9]2
"Na tasya pratima asti"
"There is no likeness of Him."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:19]3
The following verses from the Upanishad allude to the inability of man to imagine God in a particular form:
"Na samdrse tisthati rupam asya, na caksusa pasyati kas canainam."
"His form is not to be seen; no one sees Him with the eye."

“They enter darkness those who worship natural things (for e.g. air, water, fire, etc.). They sink deeper in darkness those who worship sambhuti i.e. created things (for e.g. table, chair, car, idol etc.)

I knew him, as a friend of Rabbi Dovid Weiss, but never saw an interview like this with him. Both he and Rabbi Dovis Weiss are very honest man that only advocates respect, freedom of religion and everybody living in peace. Hats off for them. The world has to learn a lot. They better listen to these man.

Exactly what Rabbi Elhanan Beck's mother said was what our grandmother said, that they used to live peacefully with Jews in Palestine, exchanging food during special occasions, kids playing together, all speaking one language... definitely no issue between Muslim & (Arab) Jews... After sometime, our ancestors were exiled to Syria (by foot)... but our grandma kept with her the key of their house in Palestine until she died a few years ago. 😢
