    Gotta admit, at first I was into fitness for the sake of the body but as I work out, I felt more fulfilled and I managed to get my depression in check. I fell in love with fitness each single day not for the results but the fulfillment it brings. ♡

      @Danceandorchestra22 8 лет назад +6

      +Chrissia Victors Corn on the cob is quite healthy actually and you dont necessarily have to eat kale because its "healthy" theres soon many delicious salads :)

    • @chrissiavictors6655
      @chrissiavictors6655 8 лет назад +2

      well corn on the cob tastes pretty dry and gross without butter salt and pepper, so i figured that it would be better to just go the completely healthy route. plus, why did you put quotations around healthy?? kale is literally one of the healthiest foods there is, and the salad was pretty damn delicious! and if I want to eat healthy, kale is probably the best way to do it. hop off it...

    I really appreciate what you said at 4:30 - 4:54. I had literally just pressed pause because I was in pain.. I am really new to this and I am having some mental and life difficulties right now, I broke down right on the mat. As soon as I calmed down, I pressed play again and it was around 4:30. I do watch makeup and comedy videos and it is a lot for me to press pause on those to press play on these. So, thank you for saying that.

    Cassey, thank you for talking about fitness making you feel good inside rather than the appearance. I stopped working out for the past couple months because I got lazy & I thought my body was ok (which I'm still satisfied with now!). But I would be really sedentary and feel pretty bleh. I started getting back into doing your videos again and I remembered how it truly felt amazing to work out. To push myself to my limits and feeling the soreness the next day was a weird feeling I missed. In glad to be back and you're still amazing as ever ♥️

      +HowToKim honesty this videos are so great that I don't feel so lazy as not to do them, right now I'm recovering from sickness and I'm glad they're not that extra hard so I can still exercise even if I'm still not fully strong. Otherwise I go to the gym as well but only for like 30 min and believe me doing spinning and climbing takes a lot of effort and sweat and it does feel a little annoying sometimes like you don't wanna go or do it, also I cannot do it when I'm sick at all. This exercises also help me because cassey has such great vibes and energy and she lifts my spirits so as to want to keep exercising if it wasn't for her vocal and moral support I'd definitely not be going to the gym this entire week, nobody lifts my spirits there and it's def a lot of work as well. :P

      It’s just your hip flexors aren’t very flexible so it makes a clicking noise. As long as the hips aren’t hurting as it’s making the noise, you are fine! But if they hurt, make the movement smaller, or work on hip flexibility 😊💜

    I LOVE the timer!!! It motivates me to keep going and to finish those last seconds. Without the timer, I lose motivation and sometimes stop before the workout is done. I loved this workout!!! Going to feel this tomorrow😂😂😂

    I just got news I possibly have cancer again…I have a biopsy on tuesday. But I worked out tonight and listening to you talk about what really matters, it means a lot. I may be 44 years old, but hearing it from a young inspiration as yourself helps. It IS what's on the inside, and working out helps us feel great. Your workouts are fun, and you exude love.

    (DISCLAIMER: I feel like I am about to write a paragraph here!)
    I think the subject you brought up about being into fitness for vanity vs fulfillment was an amazing dialogue to open up. I think most of us who start "working out" are in fact doing it for vanity reasons because all women, whether they want to admit it or not, want to look better than the women we are standing next to. Its like that competition is coded in our DNA. We as women should empower each other not knock each other down and that starts so young for us females (ie: pre-teen, teen years). It makes me anxious for my 8 year old daughter because i know she will come across that "cattyness" and i wonder how it will effect her and how she treats other females. Back to TOPIC, I have had 2 children, now 8 & 5, and i have STRUGGLED with my weight and body image, not only outward but inward, and after my 2nd child was born i developed generalized anxiety disorder and Chrons disease so I have been just struggling for the last 5 years. But after starting working out and dieting for VANITY reasons I discovered that the workouts help me keep my anxiety under control for the most part and that eating clean, wholesome food has helped TREMENDOUSLY with my Chrons. In my dream world one day I would love to be a fitness instructor working with people who have anxiety disorders and Chrons disease. But in reality that probably wont happen but if at the very least my words help someone with these conditions realize that they themselves can help their bodies then I am good with that too.
    (Hey what do you know it IS a paragraph, Sorry Everyone :)

    Proud of you just as much as you're proud of us. Favorite color is purple. Workout Videos > Makeup Videos but I still can't help to watch a good smokey eye tutorial 😆😉 Thanks Cassey!

    I like the timer! I just did this with the 8 min booty workout and geez are my legs shaking! Thank you for the great workout and the pep talk Cassey! I have to remind myself on the daily that I love working out for the sake of working out and not soley as a ways of burning calories. Most days, I get upset while I'm running or at the gym because I am embarrassed that I don't "look like a runner" or that I'm flabby or jiggly and it makes me begin to look at working out as a punishment instead of the incredible gift that it is. I need to remind myself that I am so lucky to have these legs that will carry me for hours (and will not completely fall off altogether after doing your killer workouts) and arms that can live things and a core that supports my living me life. Thanks for all that you do

    I do this video 3× back to back with ankle weights, and it has transformed my thighs. I have an hourglass figure, smaller waist and a bigger hips and butt so trying to slim down my legs has always been a struggle. I love my shape I do but I also like to have a toned figure, and doing this workout like I have been, has worked wonders for my thighs.

    I love the timer! It is really helpful when I want to give up and can see that I only have a few seconds left. Then I can shift my mind to "I can do anything for x more seconds." I also have really appreciated that you preview the moves before starting so that I know what to expect, what parts I will be working out, and can keep track! The progress bar is helpful for longer workouts, but the timer has more priority for me. Thanks for being there everyday in my list and challenging me to move!

    I AM SO EXCITED!! about a year ago I used to try to do this video but with each move I would stop for at least fifteen seconds (I'm not even sure if I stopped the video for the break) but I just did this video pretty easily and without a break!! I've only been following the calendar since January

    I love your workout videos! I also love what you said about how exercising and working out is about trying to better yourself to live a healthier, more active, and hopefully more positive lifestyle. In every other video I've watched, the people motivate their viewers by saying things like, "cmon girls, I know we all want those bikini bodies this summer!" And I would always just roll my eyes because that is such empty encouragement. My real reason for working out is to push myself even if I'm really sore or tired because I am hoping to overcome the challenge and be better by being able to do something I wasn't able to do a month ago, like running an extra mile or doing an exercise for a minute longer, etc. Just like you said it definitely is not all about looking good, thank you so much for providing real and truly inspiring motivation!

    Okay, ive only really just got back into these after taking about a month off. Just because i was busy with school and stuff, i know, i know no excuse really. but these help me sleep so much and its just nice to get back into them and feel the soreness, but also feel so rested at the same time. Thanks Cassey!

    I think both the timer and the progress bar serves their purpose. I like the progress bar for song challenges and the timer works for 1 minute moves like these.
    Also I love your hair half up half down! :)
