Well done ma’am! That motivates me. I’m 65 and have done this 3x now and still haven’t managed to hold out all the way through without putting arms down once or twice! I discovered Cassie with my daughter during covid and I still do her 25min total abs workout (which I manage better 😂).
I did it omggg!!! It’s my day 4 and didn’t put my arms down. I didn’t believe it was possible at first, but whoever is reading this I assure you a 100% you can do it!!! ❤❤

@@berserkemblem2091 you’re wrong - do some research - you can gain muscle with body weight. It’s hard to sustain with only body weight but you can tone up from body weight alone. Do the research
@@CatholicKatherine you do realize twirling ur arms in the air doesn’t give any resistance right body weight stuff like pushups is actual resistance and no toning is physiologically impossible u can’t tone a body part you either build muscle or lose fat all around or do both I like how you said do ur research but clearly haven’t done any or misinterpreted data so hard it’s not even laughable if stuff like this was effective everyone would just curl the air but guess what it’s not wanna know why because there is no mechanical tension on the muscle which is the primary mover of muscle growth that’s why marathon runners or sprinters don’t have extremely jacked legs cause muscle damage and muscle fatigue doesn’t mean growth no resistance at all means no growth u neeed a adequate amount of actual mechanical tension to grow twirling ur arms in the air won’t do that it’s just mild cardio which might burn a little fat all around the body after a while or so also how is using ur bodyweight hard to sustain muscle with I can understand ur legs not gaining muscle cause at some point ur legs will need a lot of resistance to continue to get stronger now for upper body I do recommend when u get advanced enough put on weights to ur calisthenics move to help progressively overloaded

OMG! 59 female here from Dr. Berg´s video and I am so excited. I was able to do everything without lowering my arms until she raises her arms for the angel movement on minute 8, I think it was, I couldn´t take anymore and stopped there. I will try tomorrow again.... I hope.
Hi, I just started this today.. Damn i lost count how many times i dropped my arms, but i'll persevere. No matter how many times i pause, I'll do it for at least 21 days 4 July, 2024 - ✔️ 5 july, 2024 - ✔️ ok so i took a lot many breaks in btween, dropped my hands many times . Had sore shoulder throughout the day. But i do feel the change of my shoulder getting stronger. I will keep going

I used to workout with Cassey a ton 10 years ago, but I had an unhealthy relationship with exercise so I moved to different exercises. Now that I'm working out for my health, my enjoyment, and quality of life, I'm so happy to come back to blogilates and feel like I've come full circle
My dad came to my room when I was doing the lift arm up. He asked me why i had that angry face. I was like: this is too hard. His answer: when i was in the army I used to do this exercise with grenades in my hand. I hope he was kidding
Took me 6 days to not drop my arms throughout the workout. Here's what worked for me: 1. Do these walking in the room, diverts attention from arm pain. 2. Count, keeps mind occupied. 3. Think of this exercise as a dance routine. Hope this helps.
I've been doing this routine on and off but lately, I've been doing it more consistently and it's started to show a difference :) I wanted to become stronger so I could do better in my sport and I think it's working

U can’t tone ur arms either lose fat all around or build muscle in that spot and since this is zero resistance u shouldn’t be gaining any muscle

I've just heard about you and these upper body workouts are just what i need to work on my upper arms, yes i felt the burn most definately. Today 18.7.24. hopefully i will get use to it as this area of my body i need to work on.
Thanks to Dr berg found this site..I've been immobile due to recent spine/back surgery also before that heart surgery, so I need to do this now that I'm getting better to move..wish me luck ..
