You’re world famous in Aotearoa now, Stacey! Love your channel. We try to do similar things with our food budget because we hate waste. One thing that no cookery blogs cover is the cost of power while cooking. We use Electric Kiwi as our supplier. They give us an hour of free power every day so we endeavour to cook for the day in that hour. Baking, hob cooking, the lot! It’s amazing what you can get done in an hour if you prepare ahead of time and batch bake. Off to try your hot X buns next!
I’ve often wondered about that. I’m Australian but I know tha South Africa has terrible power problems too.i have an old recipe book that teaches how to cook from the highest temperature down to the lowest in a day.
Wow Stacey- thanks for de-mystifying Hot Cross Buns, I always assumed it would be super hard to make them! I will definitely try this! I absolutely love how you go through each step! Congrats on the growth of your channel - reaffirms that your posts are hitting the spot- please keep em coming!😊
Kiwi girl here, Oh my word Stacey, I have always wanted to make Hot Cross Buns, watched you tube vids and I got put off because there was just too much prepping involved like literally 2 hours prepping, and it was like... Oh heck NO!!! I give up, but seeing your speedy prepping its like, Oh yes, you beauty. I've just watched this three times, drooled much? Hell yeah lol Love this. Thank you so much for sharing because now I will be making these. Thank you! :)
Thank you so much for this recipe! I halved it as we have a tiny oven in an off grid tiny home (to half the egg I just beat it and tipped about half of it in the mix). This recipe is insanely good! The half mix made 8, and they were devoured by the family who proclaimed that they were the “best they’ve ever eaten!” ❤ We have to make up another couple of batches for the weekend 😂
'Elbow grease'.... I'm not sure you can get that in America, but I know there's a few speciality shops in Britain. Love your channel. Regards from Adelaide in sunny South Australia.
For years, like decades really, I have failed at hot cross buns, some so inedible the chooks wouldn't touch them!! But yesterday I followed your recipe and instructions and was gobsmacked to not only produce something edible and delicious but truly better than a bought one. I love your videos and the authentic, relatable self that you are. Thank you so much for sharing yourself with us all.
Omg, the chocolate ones, my husband's new favorites.. oh, I my grandson said, these recipes taste awesome my son said I've finally cracked it for sweet rolls and buns..so thank you
I tried these this afternoon, they turned out fantastic! I had been wanting to try baking hot x buns again, the last recipe I attempted was very complicated and they turned out doughy. These were so fast to make - I decided to make them at 3pm and they were cooling on a rack at 5:30pm! So easy! I did the chocolate, made 15 buns like you did, they are a great size and the texture is light and fluffy like store bought. I don't have a fancy mixer but I did use the dough hooks on my electric mixer and kneaded that way for a few minutes. I will be making more for Easter, thank you!
Another way to prove buns is in the fridge. I often make my buns or rolls in the evening, form them, cover them, and stick them in the fridge for up to a couple of days. Usually just overnight, but there is no change if leaving them longer. Bring them up to room temperature using any of your warm the dough methods, and bake as usual. This also has the benefit of a slow rise which makes a particularly tender crumb. Very convenient too for a busy lifestyle. Can freeze at that stage also.
Yes, Thank you for mentioning this as I completely forgot to. I often freeze my bread this way and I have a video on it as well. Thanks so much for leaving your suggestions here for others.
I’m your next door neighbour in AUS. Just watched your video and can’t wait to try your recipe. Thank you for your no-fuss style of baking. Will definitely watch your other videos. Will be looking out for your crumpet recipe. 👍
Thank you so much for your recipes. My hubby is hooked on crumpets and he loves hot Cross Buns. I have heard many RUclipsrs complain about the haters. We are people, none of us perfect. Hollywood types pay oodles of $$ to fix their imperfections and end up looking fake. It would be a sad world if we all looked alike!! Keep your chin up and live your best life!! Luv your videos and spirit!!
In Canada , for whatever reason about 6 weeks ago a shop here was selling hot cross buns for a very reasonable price , so I purchased a bag. I ate some, and then they were forgotten and got tucked behind some cans as I was rearranging. So a month later I found them. They weren’t mouldy. They were still soft. So freaked out having no idea what I ate, and there was nothing unusual on the ingredients list. Never again, so I shall now only bake them, so thank you for the recipe! Very timely!
Hello, I'm in France and they don't do hot cross buns... miss them But I must say yours look absolutely stunning, when you took a bite i was so jealous 🤣 mouth watering I could eat the lot 😁 thank you for sharing this great recipe💖
Hi there, just wanted to say how much I enjoy watching your videos! You’re so down to earth. And don’t worry about how you explain things. I can understand what you’re explaining perfectly! Can’t wait to try out these hot cross buns for Easter this year! Nom…nom… nom…😋🤤😋🤤
Just the other day, I was thinking about finding a brioche recipe to make my Hot Cross buns. I made both of them this morning and they are lovely! Thank you so much 🥰
So excited to try these!! I found your channel a few days ago and have binged nearly all of them 😅 my list of things to try just keeps getting longer and longer 😂
I found your channel yesterday MARCH 18 and I watched your pizza dough recipe making.i decided im gonna try this recipe as I have made millions (it seems) recipes for pizza dough and just didn’t care for any of them. I couldn’t get over how nice the dough came out in my KITCHEN AID STAND MIXER . IT WAS SO,PLIABLE AND SMOOTH . It rolled out perfectly, so Thankyou Stacey for that recipe. ALBERTA,Canada.
Thank you Tracey! I made these today and they worked out perfectly. I made 16 in the flat tray the oven came with. So soft and delicious and super easy. Proofing time was longer though. Just over 1 hour first proof and about 50 mins second proof. Otherwise everything else perfect 👌🏼 keep doing what you’re doing. You are soooo endearing 🥰
Kia ora. I watched this video and then made the chocolate buns straight away. They were delicious. I will make the original ones over the weekend. I also recycle my baking paper. thanks for posting
They were great thanks. I read you article on your web site about canning. I've had two All American pressure cookers for 30 years. They've been busy just this past week preserving tomato soup. I've done 20 jars of soup so far as well as other relishes etc. I'm sure my children's grandchildren will be able to use these pressure cookers 🤣🤣@@FarmersWifeHomestead
In France I can’t get these unless paying through the nose from an importer, so huge thanks. The tips on how to warm the bowl and mixture are a big help too, we don’t have the heating on much.
I can’t wait to try these. Would your spice blend be known as Allspice here in the states? Never mind! I just googled it and mixed spice is equivalent to our pumpkin pie spice although, I did find a recipe for a mixed spice blend😊
Good to know! I was thinking it might be like our allspice too, but that would be awfully strong for these, pumpkin pie spice makes a lot more sense. Going to Google that spice recipe now, thanks for the tip!
I made these hot cross buns for today. Best hot cross buns recipe I've found. For my personal taste, I will be increasing the spices next time. I did 12, and they are huge. I'll be turning 2 of them into chocolate hot cross bread and butter pudding for desert on Sunday. Thank you for this recipe❤❤❤❤
Another awesome vid the buns look amazing I have made them for my family growing up .. I’m a member of a Facebook group cheaper living NZ someone posted one of your latest vids up there yesterday so I’m sure you will get many more well deserved subscribers and what a sweet lady Wendy is sending you those great gifts ❤️🙏🙏🇳🇿
It’s absolutely fantastic. Just do a little research on rolling and tensioning the buns. If you have made bread to will know. I had made bread for years but this dough was completely new to me. Turns out you shape the same way. Tension over the top and pinched in underneath
I just found your channel and loving your no nonsense style of cooking... The way you measure ingredients is so much like me! You seem to eyeball things and work quickly, marks of an experienced cook. BTW you can save a bit of money by using plain sugar and adding 1 heaping tsp per cup of molasses instead of brown sugar. I don't buy brown sugar anymore, it's silly how much they charge and it goes hard and lumpy so fast. Anyway, great channel, I'm glad I found it!
Thanks for watching, I've made my own brown sugar for years and have a video on it and two other sugars from plain sugar :-) Thanks so much for your lovely words of encouragement.
Greetings from Redondo Beach 🇺🇸. This is perfect timing as I want to make this bread during the Holy Week. Not many knows how to make hot cross buns. Thanks.
Looks so so good and easy! I must try it this year. I did try making hot cross buns from another recipe before but it didn't turn out well. I will surely let you know the results as soon as i do so, perhaps before Easter Sunday. Thwnks for sharing 😊
I'm deffo trying this! we have roast lamb or chicken for easter, and the usual chocolate eggs, hot cross buns, Simnel cake and then I diet for a month 😂😂
Im in the Pacific Northwest of the US. For Easter, in cooler parts of the west it seems most people have an indoor meal with ham sweet potatoes and the like. In the warmer southern states its often an outdoor affair. Im not positive what they tend to eat. I believe its more like picnic food. Both are amazing and should be tried at least once in your life❤ thanks for sharing darlin ❤❤
I love how you store or your herbs in large jars, i do the same. I go through that much of all my herbs and spices because i make almost everything from scratch. Plus, they are soooo much cheaper.
Hello from the UK. I will be trying these sometime soon, hopefully, especially the chocolate version! I have made fruit ones before but was a bread machine recipe and quite some time ago, I believe they were good though. I only found your channel about a week or two ago and love the video's, have saved quite a few for future reference 😀 I did try your crumpet recipe last week but as I don't have any rings or empty tuna cans I just made them freeform and they were more like pikelets but still delicious and all got eaten! 🙂 Thank you for your video's and I'd love to live on a homestead or mini farm of sorts but currently live in a city with no garden even and don't know anyone who lives like this at all, nor do I really have a clue where I'd start anyway at 50+ !! However, I can dream! 😂
I love hotcross buns but I have never made them. Yours look so easy and delicious I am going to attempt to make them for Easter, I am from Canada. Thankyou.
Stacy, I am a new subscriber and I just love your down to earth manner. Putting the spoon to help the oven door is just so down to earth approach and I love it. Your hot cross buns looks delicious and amazing. I must give these a try. Never heard of chocolate hot cross buns before, now I have. Thank you for sharing. Will let you know how mine works out. Just got to source milk powder. Have a lovely day.
My young niece and I made these yesterday (Easter Sunday) for the extended family. Easy as, and very yummy! I'm going to add more spices next time just as a personal preference, but the traditional, fruit-free, chocolate and even a batch made with GF flour were very much appreciated by all. (The GF ones weren't as fluffy, as per usual, but still worked quite well.) Thank you for a great recipe!
I made these today in preparation for tomorrow. Well.......there were definitely a few eaten today. Everyone loved them! I will never buy them now, this was so easy and they are delicious. I made the chocolate ones and fruit but left the fruit out as no one likes raisins or sultanas in my house. Your video was great and the recipe is so easy to follow.
SUCCESS ......Stacy l made another batch and they are beautiful. I had to borrow my sisters mixer as l could not find my dough mixers and hers didnt mix down to the bottom of the bowl, however l found mine and they turned out great. Thank you so much. CRUMPETS NEXT
Yummo! So much nicer than store bought. Is there anything more disappointing than a prepackaged hot cross bun? Especially when you arrive home to find them all squished and miss-shapen from being jammed up against the tins in your shopping bag 😭 I think they’re still too warm when they get put into the plastic bags. I am definitely going to try your recipe 💕
Hello from a fellow kiwi. I just found your channel and have been binge watching you. I love your content, going to be making these hot cross buns this weekend. Oh and I have the same oven as you and hate the sound of the door too. Great idea about the spoon in the door because mine doesn't close all the way either
@@FarmersWifeHomestead I'm sitting here cracking up laughing because every time your timer goes off on your oven I think it's my one, even though there is nothing in it 😂😂😂
Hi Stacey! I'm watching from Atlantis, Cape Town. You make it look so easy. Thank you for sharing your recipe. I'm definitely going to try it. God bless
Stacey I made a batch of each. Beautiful. Very tasty. My family said no more buying store bought, you have to make them every Easter now. First time I have used yeast as well. I've been too scared to. Thank you and a Happy Easter to you and your family.
I made your bread maker version of Hot Cross Buns today .Stacey..They were the best I have ever made ....I wish I had a pkt of NZ Mixed Spice ...Had to make a mix of spices we have here in USA ..I didnt have any Allspice .. I live at high altitude level here in Wyoming and when its cold ..hard to get a good rise ..But today they were perfect ...Next Easter I will be home in NZ ..Yay!!🎉
Oh my word they look fabulous. I want to give your recipe a try. I will let you know if I do! They look so delicious. I have only made hot cross buns once when I was in standard 1 lol lol, I'm 56 now, I am surprised I can still remember. Every year I say I am going to make hot cross buns but don't. Yours will be the only channel I checkout to see how it is done because I love your recipe and how easy peasy it looked. Re - the bottled plums, um, I found out why my nana and mum only made jam with Maribelle plums, they turned to mush in seconds with the heat. You live and you learn
Hi from Ontario, Canada…just found your channel and watched the hot cross bun video. Decided to give it a go and oh my gosh! They turned out beautifully and my adult son said they were the best hot cross buns he’d ever had!! Thank you so much
I made both your hot cross buns this Easter after you inspired me with your recipe. Thank you for teaching me how. We loved them, and I'll make them outside of Easter , now that I know how. Thank you so much❤
Hi Stacey👋🏻👋🏻, I made both these buns and they were AMAZING!! The only problem I had was I think I added too much cocoa in the chocolate buns. Unlike the plain fruit ones, the chocolate ones were not as light/fluffy when cooked. I will be trying a variation next time, apple and cinnamon which is a family favourite! I am sure with your recipe and these new ingredients will ensure no-one in my family will be buying hot cross buns in the future!🥳🌸🥳🌸 Thanks so much for sharing. Love your videos (and your lovely old kenwood)👍😁
Thank you so so so much for sharing this incredible recipe with us!! I just followed along with your video and made some today and they are sooo much better than store bought ones! I've tried to make hot cross buns many, many times befofe and always FAILED (to the extent that my 13yo rolled her eyes when I said I was going to try again today 😅) Well these ones worked!! She was shocked at how amazing they turned out!! Very happy kids this Easter! Thanks so much! ❤
Great to hear from you on RNZ this afternoon. Hot X Buns @ Countdown/Woolworths this week starting 11/3/24 are $5.50 for 6, marked down to $5.20 for the week. Cheers Myra who sent Jesse your youtube.
Hi Stacey new subscriber here...many, many thanks... have binged your videos over the weekend....after it came up as a recommended choice...can't wait to try out your recipes! Am also just started following following Dave, UK Baker...at Baking on a Budget. You both do no nonsense cooking but looks sooo tasty! Plus there's NO infuriating repetitive background music 🎶!
Good morning Stacey. Well I made 2 batches of hot x buns yesterday, 1 choc & 1 sultana, first time ever. They looked & smelt amazing. However they were not as fluffy as yours looked, a bit dense. Could be too that I bake in a benchtop oven at the moment & instead of 2 batches per bake I squashed them onto one one tray. Yup, the whole 16 buns. My crosses were a bit sloppy too, so maybe I'll add a bit more flour or less water? I toasted a fruit one for morning tea this morning with lashings of butter. Delicious! Keep inspiring us 😊
Thanks for messaging me, it could be a couple of reasons. The dough might have been a little too dense. If too much flour is added that can be one reason. Make sure it is still tacky for the first rise. You can always add more before shaping them. Also, there could be not enough rise time during the first or second rise. I hope that helps. You did amazingly well, like I said practice makes perfect.
HELLO .I did not wait made them today was easy and delicious!! tomorrow IWIL MAKE THE CHOC,I feel you can freeze them but putting Icing on when ready to eat..to your viewers please make them delicious and easy. Stacey. your recipe was nicely done and written very clear. Thank You for your time and patience I will be another follower enjoy your personality. Happy Easter
You inspired me to make some this morning (fruitless because I'm not a fan of sultanas either 😜)... mmm so yummy and so simple. BETTER than the Countdown ones! 😉 Thanks for the recipe!
Hi Stacey, I’m live in AK, this recipe almost the same as Edmond cookbook. I will give this a go, it’s been years, as kids grown I didn’t find the need to bake. You inspired me to make them again. Mine always came out supersized like your chocolate ones. I never tried chocolate and I used very little sultanas. ❤
Wow Stacey your baking skills are amazing, off to get results to see if i am allergic to gluten today and after seeing these i better not be🤣.love the spoon in the oven door, nothing more precious than a working kitchen filling tummies putting love in your food🥰

Those look amazing! My husband loves these. I can’t wait to try your recipe. I’m from Auckland and the price in the stores is outrageous. ( I think the pack of six I bought were closer to $6. I’ve never tried the chocolate because hubby likes the original fruit ones but I’m definitely going to make the chocolate ones too. You are a very fast worker. Btw, I’m about your age and I’ve been having trouble searching for the word I wanted at times recently. I blame it on getting older but it’s frustrating. I actually love the way you can't recall some words. I have that problem too.. much worse since Covid.
Thanks for another great recipe I live in Kentucky USA. My bucket list is to visit your country. I hope I could do that sometime soon.
Just the other day, I was thinking about finding a brioche recipe to make my Hot Cross buns. I made both of them this morning and they are lovely! Thank you so much 🥰
Wonderful! They are proving to be a hit, I'm glad you like them
@@FarmersWifeHomestead, I’ve shared this too, so I hope someone else will try making them!
They look so beautiful.
So excited to try these!! I found your channel a few days ago and have binged nearly all of them 😅 my list of things to try just keeps getting longer and longer 😂
wow, thank you so much for the support.
I'm so happy you enjoyed making the pizza recipe, that fills my heart with so much joy!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching
Kia ora. I watched this video and then made the chocolate buns straight away. They were delicious. I will make the original ones over the weekend. I also recycle my baking paper. thanks for posting
I'm so pleased they worked out well for you.
Glad you like them!
That is awesome! I belong to the same group as well. Wendy was certainly so lovely.
Easter is coming up; I've just started baking successfully this past year and I am looking forward to making this recipe! 🎉😊😊😊
It’s absolutely fantastic. Just do a little research on rolling and tensioning the buns. If you have made bread to will know. I had made bread for years but this dough was completely new to me. Turns out you shape the same way. Tension over the top and pinched in underneath
Let me know how you go :-)
I just found your channel and loving your no nonsense style of cooking...
You're such a great teacher! Sorry, I can't stay quiet.. lol!
You are wonderful, Thank you
Greetings from Redondo Beach 🇺🇸. This is perfect timing as I want to make this bread during the Holy Week. Not many knows how to make hot cross buns. Thanks.
Hope you enjoy
I'm going to try these. Thank you for going into such detail. They are going to beat the New World ones hand's down.
Just watched your channel for the first time. I loved how you made the hot cross buns - I could almost taste them. Thank you from the UK. 😊
YUMMY
Im in the Pacific Northwest of the US. For Easter, in cooler parts of the west it seems most people have an indoor meal with ham sweet potatoes and the like. In the warmer southern states its often an outdoor affair. Im not positive what they tend to eat. I believe its more like picnic food. Both are amazing and should be tried at least once in your life❤ thanks for sharing darlin ❤❤
I love how you store or your herbs in large jars, i do the same. I go through that much of all my herbs and spices because i make almost everything from scratch.
Plus, they are soooo much cheaper.
Yip i do the same love cumin so im always refilling it😂
Not only is it cheaper but is better for your health and tastes better too! Long may you keep doing that! ✌️
Hello from the UK. I will be trying these sometime soon, hopefully, especially the chocolate version! I have made fruit ones before but was a bread machine recipe and quite some time ago, I believe they were good though.
I only found your channel about a week or two ago and love the video's, have saved quite a few for future reference 😀
I did try your crumpet recipe last week but as I don't have any rings or empty tuna cans I just made them freeform and they were more like pikelets but still delicious and all got eaten! 🙂
Thank you for your video's and I'd love to live on a homestead or mini farm of sorts but currently live in a city with no garden even and don't know anyone who lives like this at all, nor do I really have a clue where I'd start anyway at 50+ !! However, I can dream! 😂
Best hot cross buns I have ever made much better than bought ones. Friends thought so too . Thankyou
Hello from Wellington NZ, a new subscriber to your channel here and loving your videos... 💖💗💓
Thanks Stacy. O will definitely be trying then as Easter nears. Love you channel. So glad I stumbled onto it.
thanks so much
My young niece and I made these yesterday (Easter Sunday) for the extended family.
Your video was great and the recipe is so easy to follow.
thank you, I'm so pleased you all enjoyed them.
SUCCESS ......Stacy l made another batch and they are beautiful. I had to borrow my sisters mixer as l could not find my dough mixers and hers didnt mix down to the bottom of the bowl, however l found mine and they turned out great. Thank you so much. CRUMPETS NEXT
Fantastic! Subscribing.
Thank you
I hope your surgery goes ok I have my fingers x for you .
Love your video's
So, working my way through some of your recipes.. another winner in my family. Chocolate ones tomorrow..
Bless your hands, these look amazing, hi from Ireland
Only found your channel a few days ago and love it
I made crumpets using the recipe you shared… OMG I will never buy them again!! Nga mihi ❤️
Yes, that would definitely be annoying! Please let me know how you go.
Hello from a fellow kiwi. I just found your channel and have been binge watching you. I love your content, going to be making these hot cross buns this weekend. Oh and I have the same oven as you and hate the sound of the door too. Great idea about the spoon in the door because mine doesn't close all the way either
hahaha oh, NO I'm sorry you have the same issue! We got it second hand and now I know why lol Thanks so much for watching.
Oh, how amazing you live there! It must be so beautiful.
Thank you so much
Hi Stacey, just made your hot cross buns and they are amazing! Thankyou so much for sharing your recipe 😁👍🤩🥳
Just found this channel.. so down to earth, will be watching her.
New subscribers wifey and I, a definite recipe for Easter, keep up the great honest content 😂👍👌
Just had your channel come up in my feed. Watching from Vancouver, British Columbia Canada . 🇨🇦 ❤
Me too. I’m on Texada Island.
@@joycewiebe135 awesome 👍🤗💜
I made the fruit buns today. Super easy. A bit wonky but overall very happy. Family loved them.
Great job! I'm so pleased you enjoyed them
I made both your hot cross buns this Easter after you inspired me with your recipe. Thank you for teaching me how. We loved them, and I'll make them outside of Easter , now that I know how. Thank you so much❤
YUM! I'm so going to make these, I find the supermarket ones really bland so I'll make these extra spicy!
Yes, great idea! Thanks for watching
Just don't add too much spice it may impede the rising of the yeast ❤
@@amandafriel1865 Good to know, thank you! :)
Love your hot cross buns recipe. Got to try them! Thankyou again.
Nothing beats homemade, Happy Easter to youand your family😂
Hi Stacey👋🏻👋🏻,
I made both these buns and they were AMAZING!!
The only problem I had was I think I added too much cocoa in the chocolate buns. Unlike the plain fruit ones, the chocolate ones were not as light/fluffy when cooked.
I will be trying a variation next time, apple and cinnamon which is a family favourite! I am sure with your recipe and these new ingredients will ensure no-one in my family will be buying hot cross buns in the future!🥳🌸🥳🌸
Thanks so much for sharing.
You are so welcome! Thank you so much for your lovely feedback as well.
Thank you for the spoon trick. I have been jamming a dishcloth in my door😂
Great to hear from you on RNZ this afternoon. Hot X Buns @ Countdown/Woolworths this week starting 11/3/24 are $5.50 for 6, marked down to $5.20 for the week. Cheers Myra who sent Jesse your youtube.
Thank you, I hope I sounded okay? I was very very nervous. I also had two other media outlets request interviews so look out for those :-)
You sounded great. Will try your easter buns and the oatmeal that ffetured in your 55 meals for $50@@FarmersWifeHomestead
The hot cross buns look perfect
thank you
Hi Stacey new subscriber here...many, many thanks... have binged your videos over the weekend....after it came up as a recommended choice...can't wait to try out your recipes!
I must try these esp the choc ones my hubby will love them, easter whatever hubby catches when were fishing yabbies yellowbelly and occasionally cod
Glad you like them! Just make sure you put the crosses on before baking them as it a flour paste rather than an icing :-)
How refreshing to find your channel. Tired of watching USA homesteaders. Your ad hoc measurements make me smile 😊 def. making this recipe.
You inspired me to make some this morning (fruitless because I'm not a fan of sultanas either 😜)... mmm so yummy and so simple. BETTER than the Countdown ones! 😉 Thanks for the recipe!
That is great to hear!
Thank you. Loved your video. I bake my hot cross buns in a Corning Ware ceramic baking dish and I’m very happy with how they bake in it
Great to know :-)
Omg! Getting out of my chair RIGHT NOW! to make the choc chip ones! I am new to the channel and LOVE IT!
Have fun making them :-)
Wow Stacey your baking skills are amazing, off to get results to see if i am allergic to gluten today and after seeing these i better not be🤣.love the spoon in the oven door, nothing more precious than a working kitchen filling tummies putting love in your food🥰
Oh fingers and toes crossed for you! LOL about the door
I have HLA-DQ2, so I'm avoiding gluten for the rest of my life (would hate to trigger CD) so watching this is very very hard. i used to make my own HC buns too! oh well. good luck for your test
Just found your channel tonight so I’ve subscribed!
Thank you, I'm glad I'm not the only one having trouble lol. Thanks for subbing and for watching. Let me know how you like the buns. I've seen some amazing buns from others since the video went up.
Hi
Thankyou for recipe &your great details. First time I have cooked hot cross buns. A great success you are a star!!
Thank you so much 🙂
Good morning i try for the first time and it came out perfectly thank you so much for sharing . My family enjoyed it so so much and it was so so soft better then the shops one.
I'm so pleased you all enjoyed them so much. Thanks for watching too :-)
