BELIEVE ME. Accutane really CURES sbd, only after 4-5 months it comes back. I think the KEY of the PERMANENT treatment of sbd is in the accutane. Maybe we must find the right dosage to cure sbd permanently or maybe accutane includes some ingredients which manage the oil in skin and kill sbd…WE must do research and understand how accutane kills sbd for 4-5 months (maybe a big dosage can cure it permanently?), where is the key my dears?. @@AlexKouras "I used the shampoo 3 times a week" ====>Any sane person would already tell you to STOP!!!!!! You're clearly overdoing it! Our scalp isn't designed to be lathered with chemical products 3 times a week! Using lemon juice is a good start, but washing your hair 3 times a week is damaging in the long run! You need to visit an endocrinologist and have your hormones by taking a sample of your blood as well as a food intolerance test from that same Doctor. Usually dandruff is a sign that your gut has issues with a certain food you're consuming regularly...
I don’t get why some people bully and let other people down but it’s nice to see that you made it a positive thing for you instead. so brave of you to share this with other people experiencing the same thing. What i’ve learned since I had seb derm for years is that it triggers when you’re allergic to something. I cut down gluten, dairy, nightshades such as tomatoes and eggplants, processed sugar, seafood and poultry and i’ve seen significant results. Too much exposure to sun also triggers it. OMAD helped a lot too and now I don’t get any flare ups. Wish you and everyone the best of luck!

I never comment on any videos but I feel I need to for this one. First, I would like to say that I’m so sorry that people felt so comfortable bashing you for a medical condition. You are so brave to still put yourself out there in order to help others through this. I’m so happy I found you because I have a 13 year old that has been getting bullied at school due to his Sd on his head and ears. We have been to dermatologist and none have been able to control this diagnosis. He’s used so many medication’s that his hair has started to fall out and then out, causing a huge depression in my son to the point that he doesn’t even want to get haircuts. After finding you, I decided yesterday to go and try the Selsun blue, and what exactly as you have instructed in your videos. I had my 13 year old watch your videos and see the before and after just so that he can see that there is hope we tried it last night for the first time and today he woke up with no flakes in his hair redness is very much down, the inflammation on his head is very minimal and the itching is not as bad and it was only one use! You are a godsend. I can’t wait to see what happens after him using it regularly. Thank you so much what doctors have not been able to help them with you did! You are a blessing. I hope others try your advice in order to receive the help they need. Thanks again God bless you.
I had the same problem as many people in the comments. I used many different medicated shampoos and it never worked. The scaling and dandruff was on my scalp, forehead, ears, face, and nose. It was very annoying and would bother me all the time. One night I was scratching my head because of how irritated my scalp was then I came across your video. I did everything you said and one week later my scalp and face and ears are clear of all dandruff and sd. I am so relieved and happy that this method worked. 100% would recommend.
@@ShugoChara888 Yes. But only a small amount. Not as much as on your scalp. Only a bit to sit on your face then after just wash it off. Only put it on the areas where you need it.
It’s such a stressful condition to have. People are so awful and act like you have flaky skin because you’re dirty or you don’t shower when that’s absolutely not the case at all. I have been struggling with this most of my life and have also tried the ketoconazole shampoo. I’ll give this shampoo a try though. Thanks for the tip!
honestly it works, i bought it and mixed with lemon juice. it’s severely helped the itchiness and redness of my scalp. so now when my hair gets oily it’s not super itchy and irritated!!! really recommend, thank you for the tip! :) - also making sure to mix it up and lather it on your hands, only wash your scalp! and getting a scalp massager to really get it in there. once you rinse it out, wash your scalp a second time but leave it in for a few minutes, you’ll feel your scalp getting cold. then wash it out! and apply conditioner but only to the roots!!!
No one cares ! We should accept how nature made us, and focus on what’s more important to selfdevelop .. and honestly I never noticed that detail on his previous videos cz I was focused more on his talent and how brave he had the idea to create and share his knowledge with us (something that not everyone have the guts or ability to do) ..
I do not remember ever commenting on a RUclips channel before, but I want to let you know how thankful I am for helping me to FINALLY get rid of my seborrheic dermatitis. I have long and thick, luscious hair and I was going to cut it short until I found your video. I was given the Neutrogena Tar shampoo, but it smelled so bad and didn't work at all. Then I tried your combination: medicated Selsun Blue + 1/3 lemon and it worked ON THE FIRST DAY!!! You have no idea how happy I am to be able to wear dark colored shirts again and not worry about flakes on my shoulders. Thank you! Thank you so much!

I have seborrheic dermatitis and I’ve been dealing with it for years now so I feel like I have a little knowledge about rosacea and eczema now. Just some quick tips. Cerave is soo much better than cetaphil, it’s way more safe for your skin trust me. And also First Aid Beauty ultra repair cream has honestly saved my skin if you want another moisturizer that is safe and better than cerave. You want to stay away from fragrances on your face and also diet is important. Dairy gluten wheat and sugar are all terrible for your skin but dairy is the WORST!oh and lots of Water. first, Cerave face cleanser or first aid beauty face cleanser then your cerave moisturizer lotion or cream or FAB cream! I’m a guy so that’s my basic routine. Also zinc soap and ketoconozole soap like head and shoulders clinical strength helps every other shower but I recommend using sensitive dove soap and body wash . Hope this helps
I have sebderm and have been using Cerave face cleanser, head and shoulders shampoo, and Differin gel. It makes the flakes and itching stop but I've still got the redness. Please read the edit!! Original: I did this for three days and no joke, my dandruff is gone. Strands of hair used to fall out when I passed my hand through my hair before along with dandruff but literally after only three days, I can beat my hair like it owes me money and it coughs up nothing. Thanks a lot! Edit: I had to stop this after a few months because of how itchy my scalp got. I mean unbelievably itchy. I've switched since to just washing my hair with a gentle soap weekly and rinsing with water every day. It's much less itchier, I still get hair falling out, but no dandruff.

@@angelmaldonado5657 I'd love to give you answers from a controlled experiment. But after I started the selsun blue, I also started taking accutane which dries out your skin. Personally, my scalp has become way itchier and using selsun does help for a day or so. As far as hair loss, I have noticed a definite decrease in loss. I used to wake up to a forest of hairs on my pillow. Now, I don't remember the last time I noticed one. Dandruff has gone down but it's not completely gone. Again, that might be because of the accutane. As for conditioner, I had a leftover bar of Ethique's coconut conditioner. I just use that after using selsun. I shower three times a week and use selsun each time. This is all very subjective because we all have different skins and hair. I have dense, thick hair. Yours might be different but going by your name, I think we'd have similar hair types. I would recommend going to a dermatologist and see what they have to say.

Ok, so I did as you said and within the first use I saw a huge difference!!! Will follow what you recommend! Thank you!!! So much!!! Update: I kept up with it as he said but not long after it came back. There are ingredients in shampoo that will cause dry scalp and more, like hair fall out. Even the natural shampoos cause dry flakey itchy scalp. I've tried several and none worked in preventing that. The odd thing is I had used a body wash by Bath and Body works on my hair bc that's all I had at the time, I had forgotten to buy shampoo that day. A day or two later I hadn't experienced any dry, itchy flakey scalp. That's when I began to realize it had to do with the ingredients. We have to keep in mind that these shampoo companies are in it for the money. They all work together. Create a problem and they will temporarily provide a solution not ever removing the root cause to the problem. So once I find something that worked I stick to it. Who knew that a Bath and Body Works body wash would prevent dry scalp and less hair fall outs. Some ingredients are still in the body wash that are harmful but until I find one with ingredients that aren't, this will have to do. Oh and my daughter also had dry scalp issues and when I shared with her the body wash she too noticed a difference. It's been 5 months and no dry scalp. Who knew! Bath and Body works body wash! Maybe it'll work for you, don't know.

I grew up with chronic scalp issues and bad dandruff. I went to all the doctors and tried all the treatments and special dandruff shampoos etc. I solved it by accident 35 years ago. I tried a 2 dollar bottle of shampoo. I think it was Suave. The key words on the bottle were, “for dry and damaged hair”. At first, I found my scalp and hair oily but I gave it a try and after about 2 weeks my dandruff problem was gone forever. I tried using other shampoos once and a while for different reasons but my itching and dandruff would come back after a week or two. I have been dandruff free for 35 years. I noticed the other day that the herbal essence one I used for many years doesn’t say for dry and damaged hair any more. So I am not sure if the one that says moisturizing or hydrating is the same thing. Right now, I use Desert essence, coconut shampoo for dry hair. It works, not sure it is the best one. Basically any shampoo that says for dry and damaged hair will work. I don’t have oily scalp. And I don’t have dandruff.!! Good luck!

I’m so happy I found you because I have a 13 year old that has been getting bullied at school due to his Sd on his head and ears. He’s used so many medication’s that his hair has started to fall out and then out, causing a huge depression in my son to the point that he doesn’t even want to get haircuts.

And also First Aid Beauty ultra repair cream has honestly saved my skin if you want another moisturizer that is safe and better than cerave. You want to stay away from fragrances on your face and also diet is important.

@@Saad-pj7ip Well I went to my clinic and the doctor said to use selsun blue 2 times a day every day for 2 weeks, without using any oils conditioner or hair products. But with that being said I feel like doing that for 2 days will damage my head/scalp because of what other people are reporting of using it for 3 days straight, but the problem is my scalp is already somewhat dry, now I will say I don’t wake up with a forest of hairs and I’m grateful for that, but what do you think? Should I follow the doctors orders? Or should I do it how you and the others are doing it

One thing to note for everyone suffering from this scalp condition is that your scalp is sensitive, and therefore you need to treat it accordingly. Dandruff might tend to come every once in a while and you will have to treat it. This condition is manageable, and maybe in some cases curable too. (All of this is of course mere speculation and experience). It is, maybe, like you will be hungry more than other people and need to eat more. Similarly, you will tend to get dandruff and just need to treat it slightly more often than others.
Update: nope not curable
This is not a curable condition unfortunately. It's manageable, but not curable.
@@WhutitdoTx yes I actually know people who recovered permanently from that bro there was actually cures for this condition in India a powder called shikia powder or something like that but they don't make it anymore what you have to do is mix it with rice water and Wala cureed also one of my friends had this and he went on a 3 day fast and was cured also try cleansing the liver dermatitis is most likely internal

Thanks Alex. Great video. I suffer with this so I will be trying this method 👍
I hope it works for you too! Thanks for watching! More great videos coming out soon! 😄
I've been suffering same problem, could you please tell me Have you tried it? what's the Results ?
What are your results bro?
I use Head and Shoulders daily and Selsun Blue once a week, it's kept me dandruff free for the past 6 years
Hey, i have a Question, can u add lemon to any of the selsun blue shampoo??
what kind of Head and Shoulders ?
That’s so sad you uploaded a video to help people and teach them something, and everyone bullied you to the point where you had to make another video to address it. 😔
People think things happen to others only one day the will have the same issue and will know how it feels
Mine is gone, for other reasons, I did a 3 day water-only fast. After the fast, I immediately noticed that all my dandruff, flaky skin around my nose and eyes and crusty crap growing behind my ears was just gone, completely gone. I've just been using regular shampoo for the last 2 months and it's still just gone. For me, this was a major bonus prize to the fast.
A 3 day water-only fast helped? Message me on IG: @alexkouras
@@AlexKouras Sorry, I don't use social media a all. I'm 63 and after I did a 84 hours fast only drinking water, I noticed that my SD had vanished and has been gone for over 60 days now. Is it due to the fast? That would be my guess, but that's not proof or anything. Wil lit last or will it work on anyone else? I have no idea.
You're handsome af dude. Thanks for sharing. I don't have seborrheic dermatitis, but have drainduff as well.
What helped in my case was a diy essential oil mix I started massaging in my scalp, it has helped tremendously. I made it with castor oil, peppermint oil, rosemary oil, jojoba and another one you won't find in the US. It has been freeing using it, more than the medicated shampoo.
Wil definitely try your tip this week and see how it goes.
I think it's an oily skin condition, seb derm, it's a reaction to the oil.
I’m surprised , it works 100%
thanks man !!! 1000000 likes

I’ve been switching between Nizoral and Happy Cappy. For my scalp it definitely works but I am still trying to clear it up on my face. It’s going to take more time I’m sure, but Nizoral definitely works within just a few uses for the scalp. Happy Cappy seems okay, definitely more gentle
I have PCOS, it’s different for everyone. Took me a few years to figure it out because I really didn’t have the problem on my scalp until these last few months. I have been prone to tinea versa color so I figured that was what was on my face neck chest under breasts and stomach. Sigh
Applying Selsun blue plus lemon on my face really did wonders for me. Try it bro.
@@starlightpancake Oh first of all i'm sorry calling you bro. Second, I didn't noticed you're going through PCOS. Might as well get that checked to the doctor to see what can be done with that. But for a mean time, I think you might first to consider what the video says and I hope it will make a change. Best of luck to you, miss.

This is gold, thanks for sharing mate!
Wouldn't the lemon spoil in the shampoo though? should you refrigerate the shampoo just in case?
I Don't think so it's juice not the lemon fruit itself
Probably works the same or better if you just buy lemon juice in a bottle
Good 4u,,, I'm gonna try this, everytime I shave my head it's like im on holiday in the Arctic...

I started losing lots of my hair from seborrheic dermatitis a year ago including parts of my eyebrows. I had to end up shaving my head because it wouldn’t grow back where it came out. My face always has red bumps and I wake up every morning not feeling human. I’m glad you found the right treatment man and I hope you’re still doing good, I’m hoping this treatment works on me too.
So far did it work?
@@shagb2751 seems to moisturize my scalp better but my eyebrows are still falling out and itchy :\ definitely give it a try because it’s a hit or miss. Works better than ketoconazole at least.
Selsun double impact twice a week.. selsun gold every day.. i cured my dandruff after so many years
@@allmight5008 thanks! I’ll do that!
@Space Dust some areas on my scalp are growing back but unfortunately my eyebrows are still deteriorating. I hoping it’ll work in time.
Please did you use the shampoo on your face too?
Hey Alex! Just wanted to say thank you for the tips you shared here. I've been struggling with Dandruff/Seborrheic dermatitis for years. Tried a bunch of different products like you have but it never subsided the way I wanted it to. It eventually began growing on my forehead, and then my nose and then almost completely around my eyes. I'm hoping that this cocktail of Selsun Blue and Lemon will work for me. I'll update in a weeks time. :)
How's your result brother please update

you have no idea how excited I am to try this. i put all these products in my hair. I'm lightskin with super coarse hair, but I could never get my dandruff under control then this winter my face started turning red on my forehead, by my nose and behind my ears, but I can't use anything too harsh because it dries out my hair badly. then this video gets randomly reccomended to me and I see what you describe and it's literally me. I'm excited thanks alot for this
One extra tip that might work for some of you,its something I kinda learned when I was doing a cut,I train 2-3 days a week, and on the resting days I limit my carbs
Trying some ciclopirox lotion I just got prescribed, if it doesn't work, I am totally giving this a shot. Thanks for sharing and don't feed the trolls. Dandruff is completely normal. Nothing to be ashamed about.
Wow... I don't think it's gonna be that easy. But if you really ever suffer for sebderm, then congrats for thus massive achievement
@ThenX you use Head and shoulders ?
@ThenX do you have mild headache right after you use it ?
@ThenX bro are you from Asia ? Where do you buy your shampoos ? Provision shop or official shopping malls ?
@ThenX bro can you have a look at the back of the bottle and tell who is the manufacturer and where it's manufactured
Good luck!
Dude you look so good with wavy hair! Remember how you said that conditioner caused your hair to be really wavy? Use it to your advantage, and use some type of curly hair routine. You should try it man, i think you would look really good with natural curls. Also, i am so happy for you that you got rid of your skin condition! Thanks for teaching us how to cut hair!
Thank you I appreciate it! I will definitely keep this in mind. More great videos coming soon! 😄

I have this in my hair and eyebrow area. I can't imagine having this on my face. Stay healthy my friends.
It sucks having it on my face. The only reason it isn’t as bad is because I have dark skin so you’d have to really be staring at my face to notice
