I made this pandesal nung tuesday pa and may sobra..Pang 4th day na ng pandesal today and it is still soft and fluffy...lalo na pag minicrowave or toaster parang bagong luto pa din..yung sa akin nakastore lng cya at room temperature pero nakacover mg clean cloth..pero kahit nakastore to sa fridge sure ako na malambot pa din..thank you again sa recipe..

Ganyan din ang ginagawa ko naka cover ng clean kitchen towel pero kadalasan hindi na rin umaabot the next day kasi nga box office ang pandesal sa familia ko, ubos kagad. Tama ka ireheat lang sa microwave for 2 to 3 seconds at parang bagong luto ulit ang pandesal.

Dito kasi sa bahay madalas na palaman ay yung homemade strawberry preserve ko kaya hindi ko masyadong tinatamisan. Pero ang pinaka favorite ko ay yung isasawsaw lang sa cafe con leche. For sure marami ang nasarapan sa ginawa mong pandesal!
I just made this recipe and omg it was so soft and fluffy. I ended up reducing the time of proofing to 1 hour and 30 mins. Made 16 pcs and they are a bit smaller than this pandesal but still amazing. Thank you!

First time bread baker here🙋♀️ Texture wise, ang soft and fluffy! LEGIT. Sa flavor, tasteless sya. Nakukulangan ako sa sweet na flavor. Yung na iba ko sa steps ay yung hinayaan ko sa ref overnight yung 1st rise. Yung pangalawa, na struggle ako sa pag kneed😅 ang sticky eh. Baka napasobrahan ko yung flour para di dumikit. Ito po kaya reason bakit iba yung lasa ng pandesal na na bake ko? Sana po ma tulungan ako ng expert bakers dito🙏
I’m sorry to hear that the recipe didn’t work for you. You don’t need an advice of an expert baker, Jennin. Just follow the procedure and exact ingredients. Baking requires precise measurements because each ingredient can completely change the outcome of the recipe. Nakalagay naman sa description box that you can add a bit of sugar kung nais mo ng medyo sweet pandesal. Always remember that although sticky dough may be a pain to deal with, it can turn out to be a soft bread. If your kneading by hand, mag lagay ka ng oil sa kamay mo para hindi masyadong sticky when kneading. If you keep adding flour para hindi dumikit, tatabang talaga ang lasa ng bread mo. In this recipe, yung first proof ay 1 to 2 hours lang hangang mag double in size . Yung 2nd proofing 1 hour lang. Hindi advisable the dough to let it proof in the ref overnight. The dough will taste very yeasty if you let it rise too much. Try mo ulit next time, bread making is a bit tricky talaga pero pag nakuha mo na ang perfect result na gusto mo , paniguradong every week ka ng gagawa ng pandesal.
I just made it yesterday and it has an amazing output.. Very soft and fluppy.. Add a bit sugar can.. If you want a bigger size of form.. Devide it into 16pcs rather than 20.. It is the accurate size for me.. I proof it w/ an hour only. & more thing is procedures are easy not unlike other recipes very complicated to do.. Thank you for this recipe.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...

Why 2 hrs ang second proofing? Usually 30 mins lang. Will it make the bread more.malambot?

Yes, if your going to use instant yeast you can mix it directly into the dry ingredients.

0.5 cup water = 118 g
0.5 cup milk = 128 g
Hydration = (118+128)/406.74
Hydration = 60%
60% hydration is good for pandesal and most pinoy breads (i think)🙂.

Since bread flour is so expensive, I use gluten flour or all purpose flour instead and its turned soft and fluffy 😉. Thanks for the recipe.

Texture wise, ang soft and fluffy! LEGIT.
Sa flavor, tasteless sya. Nakukulangan ako sa sweet na flavor.
Yung na iba ko sa steps ay yung hinayaan ko sa ref overnight yung 1st rise. Yung pangalawa, na struggle ako sa pag kneed😅 ang sticky eh. Baka napasobrahan ko yung flour para di dumikit. Ito po kaya reason bakit iba yung lasa ng pandesal na na bake ko?

I’m sorry to hear that the recipe didn’t work for you. You don’t need an advice of an expert baker, Jennin. Just follow the procedure and exact ingredients. Baking requires precise measurements because each ingredient can completely change the outcome of the recipe. Nakalagay naman sa description box that you can add a bit of sugar kung nais mo ng medyo sweet pandesal. Always remember that although sticky dough may be a pain to deal with, it can turn out to be a soft bread. If your kneading by hand, mag lagay ka ng oil sa kamay mo para hindi masyadong sticky when kneading. If you keep adding flour para hindi dumikit, tatabang talaga ang lasa ng bread mo. In this recipe, yung first proof ay 1 to 2 hours lang hangang mag double in size . Yung 2nd proofing 1 hour lang. Hindi advisable the dough to let it proof in the ref overnight. The dough will taste very yeasty if you let it rise too much. Try mo ulit next time, bread making is a bit tricky talaga pero pag nakuha mo na ang perfect result na gusto mo , paniguradong every week ka ng gagawa ng pandesal.
I just made it yesterday and it has an amazing output.. Very soft and fluppy.. Add a bit sugar can..
If you want a bigger size of form.. Devide it into 16pcs rather than 20..
It is the accurate size for me..
I proof it w/ an hour only.
& more thing is procedures are easy not unlike other recipes very complicated to do.. Thank you for this recipe.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...
