(Side note: This EXACT error happened literally one month after Honda Care expired on my 2013 Accord EX that I was paying a note on.)
One of my good friends is my dedicated mechanic and he works for Honda in the NYC area. Between me, his customers at work, the people on your thread, Honda forums, and 1/2 of the internet, too many people have this expensive and potentially deadly problem.

Having the same issue with my son’s 2013 Honda Accord. The dealership quoted $2,600 to fix it. Ouch. I checked for recalls, but none issued yet. However, lots of complaints filed. I would encourage anyone having this issue to file a complaint with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). It’s the only way Honda will take responsibility for it.

I had this exact scenario happen to me recently on a 2011 Honda Accord V6 at about 75 mph ! The car lost all steering and the brakes were gone. The car spun wildly across both lanes. God was looking out for me as the car ended up in some soft sand on the side of the road. The only damage was some plastic on the front bumper from the impact of short and thin width mile marker sign. The Arizona Highway Patrol and local county Sheriff were dispatched. They were amazed that the car was not damaged. I no longer trust driving the car so it will have to be sent off to Honda dealership soon. @@RBTheMechanic

Great video! I had the same issues with my 13 accord LX-S coupe. Rather than buying a new or used module off eBay, I decided to tear into the module and repair it myself. It took some research, trial and some error but it’s fixed. Commonly, it seems, the electro-welded connections inside the module with very thin, very soft wires come disconnected from vibration. I had no wiring diagram but tested continuity to find the broken connection. Soldered new wire on and good to go!

Hey, so interesting video. I gotta ask though, why do it this way? If you already have another VSA modulator, it is pretty easy to remove the old one and pop the new one in. You are splitting the old one in half, splitting the replacement in half, trying to get the pins to all fit back together, risking that the unit isn't sealed up correctly....seems like a lot of work and risk for no reason. It is pretty straightforward to take a flare nut wrench and undo the brake lines, swap the unit out (you already took off the bracket mounting bolts in your method in order to jam the unit sideways) and then tighten down the brake lines again. Just a thought for others who come by and watch the video here

    Hey RB,
I have a 2013 Honda Accord under 76K miles. For the past month I have been having the same issue. The ABS, EPS, traction and brake light come on and off. I went to other zone and I got a scan with the code 32-11 for the ABS Solenoid Valve Malfunction. Then 2 days ago, the check charging system notice came on the dashboard. I have someone check my car out for me, and said that my alternator was fine and had a charged, but the battery didn't had any water in it and the volt was low when them had check it. Once he put the water in the battery the volt came back into range. I was quoted $2k just for the module alone from honda.
Now I am noticing that when I am reserve parking in I am hearing a squeaking sound. Plus when I start my car and make a right turn, I am hearing a cracking sound in the front.
I ready some of your comments were you recommend to have it fix? Do you have a contact for the person who makes the repairs. Also are you located near NYC?
PS: Thanks for staying update and replying to the comments! I know you a busy with with work. You replies has help me out. I appreciate you for this! Thanks again and God Bless.

I saw an ebay listing that ABS module can be taken off and the car can still be driven as long as that hydrolic pump remains in place. do you think that's a good idea?

@RB The Mechanic Great video and a wealth of info in the comments here. I searched and couldn't really find the answer to my question; so I am going to ask. I did find the G7 Computers who will rebuild and back it up with a lifetime warranty. My question is and this may be a dumb question, can I remove this module only and drive the car until the part is rebuilt. If the part is presumed failed, I guess I can't see why it would matter.
I do want to look at the fuse first; what should I be looking for to see if it is blown. From your video, it does not look like a typical fuse. So I don't if it will be obvious that it's blown.
If I did go with the replacement route where I found the exact fit for my make/model/year- Is programming from the dealer required?

    No ABS light .
Brake light keep going off and coming back when I drive the car , but Traction light and Steering Light stays on all the time.

I’ve replaced the brake, speed sensors, calipers, rotors, new brake fluid. The lights are still on. The 38-11 code was on along with 81-19 and 81-20 which 19 is the yaw rate sensor and 20 is the acceleration sensor. But say they’re in the modulator control unit, internal circuit malfunction. You think the abs module is responsible for all that? Or is the modulator control unit something else?

Hey friend so I did another check on my Honda. I disconnected the vacuum hose from the intake manifold. I poured some seafoam inside and tried to start her up. The first time it didn't start the second time it tried and almost stayed on and the third time it stayed on. I left it running and when I put the hose back on it turned off. Took the hose off and she started back up again. Put my finger over the opening in the manifold where I took the hose off and it turned off again. The whole time that FCW light and the other lights were still on but it was running idle and sounded fine. Didn't sound funny or nothing. I tried to disconnect battery terminal but the problem still persist. I went to auto zone for odb sensor it came with battery malfunction . I don’t think this is the battery issue because it was changed recently. U0402-68 and P2101, 16-13, 83-11 and 61-11
