First thing i do when i buy a vehicle is pull the fuses on the Damn system, im an old school Driver and was taught to drive on cars without ABS, its better to use your brakes when in an out of control skid on ice or snow, the trick is knowing how to perform it, I DO.
2004 Chevy Malibu max . Brake petal extra play at start up but with in 2 miles driving time abs light comes on shortly after that car becomes hard to keep moving like brakes are slowly being applied and the petal becomes hard and if driven long enough car will not move at all.. any thoughts ???
Hello What are the use of the two circle in black under the bottom of the ABS block. Is this the safety valve? Does it leak? Why a leakeage permitted and when? Will the whole part need replacement if there is an oil leak?
Well it would have been nice to fix it - but local Jeep dealer jerked me around for over a month - telling me they can't get the part . Called another Jeep dealer 45 minutes away - they refuse to help me , and this is with a lifetime repair policy I bought . Love my Jeep . hate the company and the local dealers ..
I have new rotors, new pads, new caliper on drivers side, but the piston inside the caliper drags when I release the brake pedal, what could this be? 🤔
@user-ri7wn2ff6c not yet, mechanic checked it up and down, said may be hydraulic brake module. I think it might be brake fluid not leaving caliper going back up in line.🙏
Symptom #1: does it exist? If it does, then it's bad. There are no good ABS modules. ABS was a hideous mistake. As everyone would know if they had only asked me.
I agree with you one 100%. I’ve all the lights coming up and going away while some like ABS and Power steering are constant. The surprising thing is that I’ve no issue driving my Honda Civic. I don’t want to go to dealership for the fear of big bill. Since there is no problem in driving I think, may be there are fuse issue. I’m seriously thinking to replace fuse and see what happens. ABS seems like really All bull Shit. For such frequent problem with module, the car companies should issue recall to save the car owners from continuous pain.
I got the rear brakes looking up effortlessly, but no pressure to the front. No abs light either. 97 buick lesabre

What is the problem when the brakes usually work ...but after driving a while, break goes to the floor and hard to stop?

I got pulsing brakes and i just put new rotors and pads on
Check that you plugged back in the abs sensors or check if there are any wiring problems in the sensor itself

Great video thank you
COMPARED TO THE OTHER CARS THAT I HAD FROM THE 1980s I THINK THE ABS SYSTEM IS CRAP. IT MAKES CARS MORE COMPLICATED AND MORE DANGEROUS.
Joe rogan schooling me on ABS modules is crazy
Good Work
