What an awesome technique! You quilt like I do....I start out trying to make everything perfect and accurate but somewhere along the way it just gets a little skewed, and that is ok! You could really pump these out in no time at all. So happy I ran across this, thank you for sharing this.
Thank you! I've made this block before, but you told me 2 things I didn't know. I'll be much more relaxed next time I make this block... which will be soon! (You said to draw the line to my "stiched" corner. And you told me how to Accurately line up my lines when I cut them.) I love the results of this square! Thank you!
I learned that the busy side with all the exposed seams is stretchier due to the newest pieces being on the bias. I am getting better results by putting that piece on the bottom so the feed dogs can help handle that stretch.
There is no way on God’s earth I would use this process. When doing this every outer edge is on the bias. Bias leads to wonky blocks due to the inherent stretching. If I am going to spend the time to make a table runner or quilt I will take the time to do it right. There are templates, rulers and paper piecing options available to ensure the results are non-wavy.
glad I found u . I took a quilting break to do other crafts & needed this review for this technique. Glad u had the evening off. Thank u
I really liked the last border fabric with the solid purple from the floral print.

Use the gold for the back, cut the grape border in half with the little borders and maybe a small border of gold.
Any that you have shown are beautiful. I love your confidence!
Beautiful fabric, completely and totally different way to put the square together!
SO MUCH LESS FUSSY PIECING!!!! Love your method, I can’t wait to try-THANKS!!!
The border fabric looks great with it.
What is the final size of yhe block?
Thank you for making this simple!
i like your style. Been looking for this pattern
Would you mind telling me what size your first square is and the finished block size? Thanks sew much, I enjoy watching your ideas.
Great tutorial
You give me encouragement to do what I can do, I am not a pro, but it is the love that matters! Thank you so very much!!!!!
Beautiful Fabric, I hope you turned the bricks in the same direction.
Yes use the smaller border print.😊
I really like the way you put the block in the block very good keep up your good😂
Very easy I'm going to try it on my next quilt thank you
Gorgeous fabric
Could this be made using wider triangles to allow for a space where the points don't get cut off when sewing together?
Thank u for sharing
Love the colors.

Is that a left handers machine? Love your fabrics, great block!
Gold surround - sash in between each 4 patch - same width make border! Fantastic fabric!! Glad I found you. What did you end up doing?? Picture?
I like the gold
Small gold border to frame, then the dark border with the grapes
what size squares do you need for each process? What size is your 1st cut?
Great video on this technique. How is the sewing machine on your left? Is it the camera or a special machine for a lefty???
Camera. JUKI written backwards on the machine.
That is the easiest sq in sq in sq block I have ever seen. Also I notice you are sewing with a left handed machine, I have never seen that before.
You can sew the second round without squaring and cut after sewing?
really cool way to do that block never seen it before
Kathy Smith thanks for checking it out.
Great job
The first one.
just great .thanks
Solid color edge of that border fabric for border
T as stone fabric would be great
I am paying attention….
Unless I have done something wrong, your video shows everything backwards. Also, it looks as though your points will be cut off.
Border fabric
All the points are cut off
Bad way! All corners are chopped off! No points on insidexsquare!
All squares are 6”?
