I made this quilt using Mario cart fabric for my daughter highlighting Princess Peach and using hot pink and pastel pink for the divider bars and connector squares. Ended up also making matching pillow covers and a travel bag. This was my first “real” quilt and it was for a queen size bedspread. These instructions were clear and precise. It came out amazing and she loved everything.

Rather than sewing lattice work on each single block, the 4 blocks I made from my 4 blocks were put together to make a single 18” block with a bright stand out pinwheel in it. Love my first one and anxious to make more!! I appreciate all the good advice you presented in your video.

Thank you so much for doing this video! I have tried and tried to make seams that match in the center. Sometimes they're perfect but more often than not they do not completely match up. You explained why today. I have always lined up the corners of the fabric and hoped for the best. You explained that I need to make sure the seams are lined up all the way down. Don't worry about the outer corners of the fabric. Now, for the 1st time in a long time I am ready to try it again. I have been so frustrated in the past I have just given up. Thank you again for this wonderful comet clearly explained video.

OMG! I have been searching for a quilt to make on my own and this is it! I CAN do this! Your instructions are perfect! Totally understandable! I absolutely love those colors in that quilt you’re working on. I’ll be buying a few tools before I get started too! That quick quarter ruler is so cool!

I'm not a new sewer by any means, I was a seamstress for years but this is the first time I've seen the Quick Quarter Ruler and that is an awesome tool.

Just found this tutorial. I always watch you girls. Very entertaining. I learned the most important lesson ever! How to square a block perfectly

Same here. I would always square by using the points. On the pinwheel top I attempted a lot of my points don't match exactly. I never could figure out why. But now I know. I am not frogging it but maybe an applique in the center could hide the mistakes. Now I need to see if you have a tutorial on how to do that. Lol
