I love this pattern!! I have been wanting to make something that would showcase the beautiful fabrics of the Jane Austen at Home fat quarter bundle, and this is it. I didn't want small pieces because the fabrics are so gorgeous, so I think this will showcase them all so well! Thanks again for another really beneficial tutorial! Can't wait to get it sewn!!
Really enjoying your channel! I found you early this year at the beginning of the pandemic searching fabric mask and have stayed with you. I’ll have to make a quilt very soon ❣️
Great demonstrations from you and your daughter, how lovely to be able to sew together the way you do and get your whole family to get involved too. Love it.
I think I saw one of your mask videos a couple months ago. I just wanted to comment on how impressed I am that you discussed how valuable your staff is at the beginning of this video. I have not seen any other RUclips video that did that. Now to watch this video.
What a great quilt! Looks easy as long as the cutting is accurate. Especially love the baby quilt on the wall. The colors and textures are beautiful. Thanks.
I really do love this as a King or Queen size. Thank you again for an download pattern. Of course I will need some help once I get to the borders for building but it is going on my Beginner list list Cindi! And Brianna thought you would be lost without here - LOL! Thank you so much for your time and another great video and pattern idea.
Well... truth be told... we filmed this last week. They really cannot trust me with more than messaging and emailing. But yes... we are doing fine without them! It sounds like they are having a blast AND good weather!
I just found your channel and love your ideas and info. The video describing fabrics and all the different points was very helpful! Thank you. I've just started quilting, have only do three, a baby quilt, a queen and a king. I want to try making up squares and sewing them together so it won't be such a huge hassle!
I too like a mixed binding from extra fabric from the quilt. Sometimes I even add fabrics not found in the quilt if I don't have enough. Often I even vary the length of the strips I put together usually 8 to 18 inches depending on the size of the quilt.
cindy hi it's gloria guyer I bought my abm from you in 2010 maybe. so glad to see you are well. you were having your surgery when I bought my machine. we are in tillamook oregon and I have been quilting professionally on that machine since. I subscribed to your channel and am looking forward to seeing you teach . best regards gloria
Thanks for the pattern, need to make a friend's new baby a quilt and wanted something new to try! Funny thing, I checked out your website and see that you're in Ephrata (I'm in Montana), I moved from Ephrata about the time you opened shop. I worked for the PUD and lived up on West Line, would have loved to have shopped and quilted with you all! At least I get to electronically :)
This may be the answer to several fat quarter bundles I have. I prefer buying fat quarters instead of yardage due to space constraints in my sewing room. Also not a fan of cutting. I appreciate how easy this quilt is to adjust sizes.
Two years too late?? Never too late! The fabric is all gone but that particular designer puts out a new line twice a year. All very similar. Watch our box openings on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons to see when the next one arrives.
I am new to quilting and just bought this pattern. From the picture it looks like the 10 inch square is modified. Can you explain this to me please? Thank You !
I really want a blanket that covers a full double bed, how many fat quarters would I need? I'm really terrible at maths and I've never made a patchwork quilt before so definitely need some help ❤️ also do you have a video or post showing your cutting technique? I would find that really useful. Thanks in advance x
Yes! Actually all of your questions are in the video that will be up in a week and a half. I think we’re going to call it “your first quilt”. It covers some basic math, basic cutting and basic piecing of blocks. It’s exactly what you’re looking for. I think it’s only about 20 minutes. It will post next Thursday.
Love this! I purchased the download. I actually have that fabric too. In a layer cake. It’s beautiful. QUESTION...If I’m using layer cakes instead of fat quarters (in your instructions you mention if your fat quarter is 18x20 it’s still acceptable), do I cut everything to create a 9 1/2 inch block? Do I trim the 10” layer cake to be 9 1/2 ? And cut one 6x4 and all the squares 5” which will make a 9 1/2” block? I’ll still have the binding AND an extra 2 1/2” strip. Can I use that in my quilt too? Thank you in advance for the help.
It should have been sent as an automatic email to the same email address you used on check out. If you don’t find it immediately look in your junk file. I think your computer will recognize that it came from a large server with an attachment, so they often go there. If not let me know right away.
Go to our website at www.fabricpatch.net. There should be a link in the description. If you have any trouble at checkout you can also give us a call. We are happy to help you over the phone.
It is a half of a yard cut in half. So it’s still a quarter of a yard, but instead of being 9” x 42” it is 18” x 21”. So you have a more options for cutting.
Because I cant find a nice summer weight cotton king quilt/bedspread Im thinking to make a quilt. Most likely quilt as you go.They used to have these nice bedspreads sold in Target that looked like two cotton sheets sandwiched between light batting. Then stitched for design. Now all that are even similar or called kantha(not realy the style) all look like made from the material they staple to bottom of sofas. All have bad reviews despite costing in area of $300, showing rips, tears, stains straight out of the package. But if doing this and buying fat quarters I want all nuetrals, barely a beige pattern at all. Other than this I may bet muslin but still do a large quilt to go. I dont even want to cut the fat quarters. Not everyone wants country or log cabin or stars etc. Where are the videos of simple no pattern nuetral quilts? Id just use king sheets with maybe the extra fitted sheet used as material to make it longer and wider. DO you know thats impossile to find either. Microfiber that is just very thin polyestr and sold under the guise of wicking...not its not, its Saran wrap!....is all there is!
I love that this is a “family” endeavor. Blessings on each and every one of you!
Overthink it for a few hours 😂😂😂. Nailed it!
I did too! Easy peasy!
Yes over think it for a few hour's! LOL 😃 I do love that this pattern has little waste.
“Overthink it for several hours”!!! 🤣 I love it! That’s so me! 🤣🤣💜

I like your pattern design

I have the Bloom bloom butterfly fabric and It's so so beautiful. Any chance you would post pictures of the completed quilt in the BlooM BLOOM?
Wish you would have shown your finished quilt. Loved the prints.
It’s on my quilting frame as we speak. I’ll link a pic for you when it’s done and we’ll show it at FabriChat.
I would love to know what you did to add the chinille and the two small rows of fringe. Darling pattern. Tfs.
Your work is amazing. Your baby fur baby is beautiful yoo
Thank you! Yes she is adorable.
Wish we could have seen the finished quilt top....
Just bought the pattern. How much fabric do we need for the back of the quilt if we are making a baby one? Queen one?
Thx for giving me permission to overthink.😅
What line of fabric do you have on your work table? I am definitely interested in purchasing some.
It is called Bloom Bloom Butterfly. It is on our website at www.fabricpatch.net.
Oh no love this one I’m two years to late
Two years too late?? Never too late! The fabric is all gone but that particular designer puts out a new line twice a year. All very similar. Watch our box openings on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons to see when the next one arrives.
👍❤️😊
Can you use all directional fat quarters for this
I would have liked to see finished quilt

That certainly sounds like that would work. Good math!
I wish that you would show the completed quilt at the end.
I didn’t get it done before we wanted to get the video up. But it’s done now. I think we’re posting our show and tell on Saturday.
Love this. Where can I get the pattern from .
Here it is! www.fabricpatch.net/shop/c/p/B-Line-for-Baby-x43108428.htm
I have not been able to cut straight, don’t have idea what I’m doing wrong 😟
Hi - I'm excited to make this baby quilt. I just purchased the pattern but was not instructed how to retrieve it. Can you assist? Thanks
It should have been sent as an automatic email to the same email address you used on check out. If you don’t find it immediately look in your junk file. I think your computer will recognize that it came from a large server with an attachment, so they often go there. If not let me know right away.
@@TheFabricPatch thank you! It was delayed. I have it in my inbox now.
Ok excellent. Thank you for your order!
what is the size of the quarter squares? all 10 inch squares? but some are obviusly rectangle
How large is the baby quilt using 10 fat squares?
I have just purchased your pattern for download payed via PayPal and have not received pattern
Oh sorry, I thought it was automatic. I will go check.... thanks for letting me know!
It’s fine has come in
Wish you would have showed the quilt sewed together
Yes we keep forgetting to add that picture. We showed it at the next FabriChat episode. We’ll fix the video and I’ll post a pic in the description.
I missed your last words in some of your instructions. Maybe the video camera was cut off a bit early.
how to order from your shop?
Go to our website at www.fabricpatch.net. There should be a link in the description. If you have any trouble at checkout you can also give us a call. We are happy to help you over the phone.
Pattern book?
As you were cutting you fat quarter I didn’t hear you explain how you cut it into different pieces?
I'm new to this. Can you tell me what's a fat quarte
It is a half of a yard cut in half. So it’s still a quarter of a yard, but instead of being 9” x 42” it is 18” x 21”. So you have a more options for cutting.
Почему нет перевода на русский язык ???
