Ohhh my goodness! I’m making my first quilt!!! It’s for my dad that is stage 5 kidney failure. I was beginning to think I could never get it finished …. But thanks to you I have faith!!! Thank you soooo much sweetie!
Great project for busting out your scraps AND emptying out your bobbins AND emptying off your spools of threads !!!! This project is right down my alley !!! Thank you for sharing and caring !!!! 🙌🏼👍🏿👏🏿👊⭕️❌❤️🎈🤎💝🍭🎈
Absolutely love it! I’m a beginner and at first was thinking nooooo way! 🤣🤣😂SUCH a fun block to make!! Thank you for sharing! Newbies… you can do it! 🤩🤩💯❤️❤️
You're back!! Hope you feel better :) This is a new way of piecing for me and I love it. I have tons of scraps I'd love be to use too. Hope to see you again soon. You were missed! 🧵♥️
Just wanted to make sure to remind everyone to draw the line from corner of stitching to corner of stitching. Not the corners of the square.. It will make a difference lol
What a fun pattern. just pulled some scraps to give it a try, love it! Glad I found you, you are a wealth of information and so much fun to watch. you add a little bit of happy to my day! thank you!
I totally agree, she’s a sweetheart and a lovely bright, cheery soul. You can’t help but smile 😊 when waiting her great video clips. I love 💕 “I See Stars Quilting” ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️
I saw this done elsewhere and gave it a try, with very little effort I'm at couch cushion size in multiple pinks. I did a tiny version with fussy cut owl in the centre. So much fun can be had.
Awesome quilt block! It so beautiful and intricate, without the piecing (and measuring) of triangles to squares. Yay! Thanks for sharing your lovely ideas.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this quilt block! I am finished with the blocks. Just have to put borders around to finish the baby quilt for my first Granddaughter! I love making these blocks!
This is a really cool method. I have never seen this done. It looks like a fun quilt to do. I like the starting with a smaller square, because everyone is going to think you spent hours on cutting all the little pieces out. LoL I really like this one. Thanks for sharing your video with all of us. ❤
I love this big easy quilt block. Thank you for sharing it and showing how easy and fun it is to do. I’m definitely heading to my sewing room to start making some. I’m going to make some Christmas placemats as gifts for family and friends. I’ve got heaps of beautiful Christmas fabric stashed away. 🎄🎄🎄You are such a sweetie and I’m really enjoying your blogs. Loving I See Stars 🌟 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️
I love this block. I'm definitely going to make one or a dozen. Thank you for sharing and I hope you feeling better. Until the next time... See you soon.
I love this, but hate the idea of cutting after you sew. Wonder if you could cut the piece the same size and then cut corner-to-corner x 2 and sew? 🤔 Time to go play with some scraps and see 👍😊
A combination... Many classic/traditional quilt blocks originate from a really long time ago. I wish I could give credit to the original artist. I always do research and give credit when I can..... and sometimes, I just try random ideas in my sewing room and see what happens lol 🤷♀️
Hi, when making a King size jelly roll quilt do you sew all the 3 jelly rolls together or do it in 3 sections, and then add them together? I'm pretty new at this Thanks, Linda
I have a whole post on this on my blog that has detailed instructions on how to make them very big! iseestarsquilting.com/jelly-roll-quilt-size-guide/ 😍😍

Yessss! You absolutely can 😘 sometimes it just takes working smarter and knowing a few tricks up your sleeve to make it looked complicated
Glad to see you back at it, Kristan! Hope that your recovery is going well.
Thank you! I'm very pleased to be sewing again! 😘
A great pallet cleanser. Adding strips to opposite sides would make a great mug rug or place mat.
Yes! This is exactly what I wanted.. something simple to inspire! 🥰🥰

Ooh. That's a great color palette to work with! I love monochromatic quilts!
Beautiful
Thank you so much Irene.
Great information, I wondered how this block was made, now I know, thank you so much. It not only looked easy, but it looked fun.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful 😍
You're so welcome! Thanks for watching!
Fun & easy pattern. I used it to make a mug mat & it only took 3 squares to get it to the size I wanted. Will definitely use it again.
Brilliant! So glad it worked great for you! 😘
What an interesting technique. If you have a rotating mat or smaller cutting mat, that would be easy to turn, would make the cutting evan easier.
Mary, that's genius. I have one of those. I should have thought of that! 🥰 Thanks for the tip!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this quilt block! I am finished with the blocks. Just have to put borders around to finish the baby quilt for my first Granddaughter! I love making these blocks!
