      God bless you dear lady. I took went through the dark valley of cancer and fought for 7 years. Sewing and crocheting helped me to feel useful and that I could still bless others with my craft. Jesus walked with me every step of the way and now I have been in remission for 2 years. praise God. I will pray for you ❤ God bless you and Angels all around you.

    Thank you for your tutorial on an easy way to make four-patches. I totally agree with the previous comments that your quiet, to-the-point explanation was a blessing!! There are so many that talk, talk, talk before they get to the point. And by the way, I am 89, have been quilting for a while but am still learning!

      I have a question do I have to work this with 5 inch squares, can I do a bigger 4 patch using 8 inch ? I have 8 inch squares and I wanted to do 4 patch like this using my 8 inch pre-cut squares

      What do they look like put together in a quilt? Do you intersperse them with a skid block, use smashing in between or just sew them all together?

    I'm a beginning quilter at 70+ and need all the tips I can get. I love patchwork squares! Thank you for showing such an easy method. I have purchased a couple of charm packs with prints I love but wasn't sure how to get started. Now I can proceed!

    Thank you for this hack. I've been sewing for 50 years and have never tried this technique. While I am an experienced sewist and don't need such detail, the tutorial will be helpful to anyone, even the newst beginner.     You do a wonderful job of explaining the techniques. My least favorite thing about making a quilt is cutting out the fabric. So glad to have your tutorial tips on cutting and sewing.

      Do you use an Accuquilt? I'm new at quilting and would love to see you demonstrate cutting blocks and strips with this machine. I've watched their video but still confused how to lay the fabric. You explain everything much better than most and don't rush the process. So thankful you have a RUclips channel

    I been sewing since I was 14. (5 decades) I'm sewing on my Mamas 1953 Pfaff, my Daddy got for after they married. I hoping to making quilts for my 3 kids & 7 grandbabies. Quilting is so much math, not something I'm real good at.

    This is a really great way to make a 4 patch, thank you! A tip I learned to make sure the pieces are actually cut thru the center was to measure 2-1/4" from the stitch line, that way those pesky pinked edge don't get in the way.
