  • On June 12, 2022, a Monroe County deputy observed a speeding vehicle in Key Largo, FL. When he attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed driving recklessly through traffic. After several miles, the vehicle finally pulled over and the driver exited saying he was a police officer.

As difficult as this must be for an officer to do to another, it is pretty disgusting to see this officer/Sargent treating this guy with special treatment and CONSTANTLY REMINDING him to "stay quiet" "don't talk" and constantly giving him heads up in making sure he doesn't incriminate himself further. Can you imagine a cop guiding you and assisting you to not incriminate yourself??? Their entire training is to collect as much incriminating evidence from you as possible. Even though he did arrest him and locked him up, it is VERY CLEAR to see and tell the difference between this guy and the incrimination that occurs towards the everyday public.
