As a former police officer I can tell you, it is HARD to run carrying all that duty gear. The worse part of it is that your bulletproof vest constricts your chest and makes it harder to breathe when running. Been there, done that.

I've been watching so many of these videos. It seems like there will be some initial violation that the suspect gets stopped for and they'll be detained or arrested. At that point they'll claim they're being taken unlawfully or unfairly. Whether they're in the right or not, they'll proceed to do whatever they can to 'defend' themselves or get away because they feel like the police are abusing their power. Suspect is usually drunk or under the influence of whatever so they continue to think they're within their rights to defend themselves against some sort of perceived unlawful abduction. Obviously, we're all sane and sober and have the benefit to assess these situations from afar and realize whatever you do to get out of a ticket or arrest only makes things worse.
Bro, this has got to be the funniest bodycam footage of all time. He dipped out on that cop like, "I'm fast as fuck, boooiiii." Then, he stopped to take a piss in the bushes, like "shit, I'm probably good." But bro, when he stopped to hide in that doorway like he was in time out or something, omg. Then he started running off again and yelled "stop" like the cop was just going to stop chasing him like, "alright bro, when you say it like that..." This dude really might be the GOAT of police bodycam footage. Both the dude running and the cop chasing him deserve to be celebrities.

@@EarthWalkerOne It wouldn't be worth it for sure for something so small. I just mean if you decide to run. Commit lol. When the cop stopped running if that guy had just kept going instead of hiding in the door frame lol he likely could've gotten away. I wouldn't run period or get in trouble to begin with but if I chose to run it wouldn't be over something so small. To add charges of biting them resisting fleeing grabbing weapons. Ridiculous especially considering selfish drunk drivers basically get a slap on the hand so it really wasn't worth it. But clearly this guy isn't known for good decision making skills
The officer in this video is very well spoken and kind to this young man. I’m impressed!
This reminds me of my dog getting out of the house. She runs way faster than I do but then she stops and lets me get kind of close only to bolt again.
I had a dog that would do the exact same thing.
That’s because dogs like to play. Mine does the same thing too.
Sooooo frustrating when they do that! 🐕🐾
Try chasing after a pet rabbit...they hop away and look back and laugh.🐰🐇🐇🐇🐰
Lol this gave such dog chase vibes, even the stopping halfway thru and saying f this and getting in the car to finish the pursuit lol
I honestly felt bad for him at first bc I knew how bad he made things for himself. After seeing that cop ask if he had any diseases... Can you imagine being that cop and wondering if you got a deadly disease from a suspect?
Yes, I can imagine that, I think about it all day everyday.
Wow. Yeah I had zero sympathy. What he did was incredibly dumb and he got cops injured. And trying to grab the cops gun? Biting him like a freaking animal? Yeah... all my sympathy got used up on the cop. I don't understand why people make these irrational choices.
Bites like that are nasty, it's very easy to get an infection from one of those.

@@baumkuchen6543😂😂😂 why did the cop ask that lmao
It kills me that this guy runs from police when police officer has his ID so even if he got away they have his name and address
i mean dude was drunk, not the best state of mind to make decisions lmao
@@Demons972 criminal.
@Hayward in that case, what if it wasn’t his car? Someone who had nothing to do with that incident would potentially get hemmed up which would make this guy even more of a scumbag
@@nicholasselke5214 probably not his first rodeo, even if the car wasn't his, they could have taken fingerprints off the car and run them through the database.
But he kept making it worse even after he was subdued - threatening to kill them, reaching for their guns, like what was the plan? Add a murder charge to the list? Dude's a dumbass.
@@Spongequan69 😮
$1000 bond is absurd. He assaulted a police officer after fleeing and grabbed the officer's gun. His bond should be like $100,000 at least. The guy is clearly willing to hurt or kill people in order to avoid criminal charges.
