I've been mistaken for someone the police were hunting down and aggressively restrained at rifle point from multiple officers. I also received contradictory commands and was convinced I'm about to be shot. There needs to be some protocol for what commands are given or only have one officer issue commands. I ended up trying to crawl towards them with my legs crossed and my face down on the pavement. This wasn't even possible for me to do but that's what the commands ultimately boiled down to. How do I crawl and keep my face down and cross my legs? All of those commands were being yelled at me at gun point while I was desperately wiggling around like a worm.
That’s how they justify your beating. In addition to what you said notice how when cops wrestle suspects to the ground they put their knee in their back, then tell them to relax and stop resisting. @@tj1ification Yeah, the only missing element here is an anxious driver who gets nervous and does all the wrong things. If it were me, I'd stick my hands out the window and ask to slowly open the door from the outside. When they ask me to turn the car off, I'd do nothing and ask for confirmation that they want me to reach where they can't see my hands. Even with ordinary traffic stops, I turn the car off, keys on the dash, cabin light on, window down, hands almost out the window. Easy way to get a warning.
@@tj1ification I mean if people just don't give officers a reason to become so paranoid none of these things are an issue? It started as a traffic stop with 1 cop and 1 set of orders. Instead people escalate the situation thus bringing in more officers and risking the multiple sets of voices and the paranoia of "is this person going to do something." Cops are people not automated robots, in an intense situation fueled by adrenaline because you're dealing with someone possibly high on narcotics, who clearly shows no regard for human life how the fuck else would you react.
What are you talking about! Did he count steps out loud? They always are asked to. Did he do 9 steps? Did you count how many steps he did? Did they even show how long he though 30 seconds was? They did not.
David 1 - he did not pass at least one test. 'Take 9 steps in a straight line, stop, turn making small steps, take 9 steps back in a straight line'. His focus was intense, his fail was epic and obvious.
If he was under the influence it would show in his eyes while he was following the pen. That would be enough to arrest him for suspicion of driving under the influence. He also failed the 9 step turn around test, and he even looked high too.
Hahaha…I do not know these things from Germany, but I am a non drinker or doing any drugs but I tried several times this heel to toe. And depending on my day, sometimes I am not perfectl. Walking straight without waving with my arms. So the German solution, taking an alco test and if it’s over 0.3 Promille or near, policy drives you to the hospital for a blood test. Why these tests on the street, when you can measure the alcohol level. Such tests without measuring are not working in court I think, because after crashing a car and being nervous and not that stable, you’ll not pass this test.
@@TheApp9 We use a "breathalyzer" here to estimate BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) as well, but there are limitations. For one, you don't need to be drunk on alcohol to get a DUI, so the street test checks for general impairment, not only alcohol. For another, any alcohol in your mouth will make the breath test go through the roof. Even if all you did was swish some mouth wash around before getting pulled over. So the police have to observe you not consuming anything for a fixed amount of time before they can use the breathalyzer, and they use that time to administer other tests. After I bombed the field test (which is much harder when you're nervous) I did receive the breathalyzer and blew all zeros. The cop was gone before I even got back in my car haha.

jail for this ?
That should be the case regardless of if you’re high or not. I’d get shot because I’d have no clue who to listen to.
Good retraining video for this department. They need to be sure to follow the laws they’re sworn to protect

Never imagine trying to drive. Walking or texting is a challenge 😂
I remember texting on the old flip phones. I was on my way to help one of my sisters and was walking there. I was counting out loud to myself one space three space a cop drove by me with the window down and gave me the strangest looks. Boy, when I got over there we had a good laugh and when she asked me why I was doing that I reminded her that I can't chew gum and walk at the same time you wanted me to text and stop at all the lights and not walk into walls 😂
I did once on molly and it was so traumatic it was the only thing I remember from the entire trip
@@connorspalding4759please dont ever again
Its harder to text tripping than drunk 🤣🤣🤣
I tried texting tripping, it looked like alien hieroglyphics and it was spilling over my screen. There were no texts sent during that trip. Don't use tech at all while tripping, take a walk and enjoy nature. Watching wind blow through some long grass was euphoric for me.
Cop: " turn the car off!!!!"
Another cop:"stop reaching!!!!"
Another cop: "show me your hands"
Another cop: " open the door, do it now!"
The same cop as before:" stop reaching!!!"
The cops rightfully pulled this kid over but this seems to be an issue a lot of times where different cops will give different commands and then get upset at the suspect for listening to one cop over another and that's why they get shot sometimes
Was looking for this comment. That’s exactly why people get shot. Officers screaming so loud you can barely even make out what they’re saying, then on top of that yelling out contradictory orders. Fucking idiots.
Hopefully the pigs are the ones with holes
@@tj1ification I mean if people just don't give officers a reason to become so paranoid none of these things are an issue? It started as a traffic stop with 1 cop and 1 set of orders. Instead people escalate the situation thus bringing in more officers and risking the multiple sets of voices and the paranoia of "is this person going to do something." Cops are people not automated robots, in an intense situation fueled by adrenaline because you're dealing with someone possibly high on narcotics, who clearly shows no regard for human life how the fuck else would you react.
well kid shouldnt have done what he did then he wouldnt need to be told command by cops.

Yeah he passed but he was still under the influence.

He yawned
David 1 - he did not pass at least one test. 'Take 9 steps in a straight line, stop, turn making small steps, take 9 steps back in a straight line'. His focus was intense, his fail was epic and obvious.
If he was under the influence it would show in his eyes while he was following the pen. That would be enough to arrest him for suspicion of driving under the influence. He also failed the 9 step turn around test, and he even looked high too.
I was given a field sobriety test when I was stone cold sober once, and he did WAY better than I did.
Some ppl are really functional on acid. In his mind he had three times the amount of time to complete that test than someone who was sober.
They are meant for you to fail.
we practice this in physical therapy! after multiple back surgeries it is like impossible! even people with knee/hip surgeries try and fail we laugh but a cop would probably be looking for our surgery scars.....right?! before arresting someone? if u have on sandals it's even harder to do

He took the trip of his life that night, jail he went. Owen messed up but he was quick to say all the illegal drugs were his. I have seen many videos of police cams and the driver not taking the fall and drags everyone down with them

Those tests aren't pass/fail, they're designed to provide various indicators, including but definitely not limited to an ability to walk in a straight line, or count properly. Unfortunately we can't see all the indicators on video, so it's impossible to make any legitimate determinations remotely.

I doubt most of those guns have safeties. They are usually Glock-type weapons, which don't have any safety switch. If you pull the trigger, it goes off. But the trigger pull is long and heavy unlike a pre-cocked traditional style gun.
correct me if I'm wrong, but thy Glock does not have a safety
@@YukariAkiyama they have trigger safety, not a traditional safety switch, you have to pull they safety first then the trigger if that makes sense, the trigger is also heavy and a longer pull than most pistols, that’s why cops use glocks, no having to worry about a safety switch when in a quick decision situation
