Bodycam: 19-Year-Old Wearing Police Gear Arrested for Impersonating Deputy, Pulling Over Cars

- Опубликовано: 17 апр 2023
- A 19-year-old Tennessee man was arrested by Oklahoma police after he allegedly impersonated a sheriff’s deputy and pulled cars over in January. The Oklahoma County Sheriff said Jackson Jones was dressed in police gear, touting a vest that said “sheriff,” alongside handcuffs, knives, and a flashlight on a tactical duty belt. Witnesses told deputies Jones was acting like he was on duty, pulling them over in his personal KIA sedan and aggressively questioning them during the unauthorized traffic stop. Jones was taken into custody and charged with impersonating an officer and transporting an open container.

The vast majority of these wack jobs actually become cops. That’s the scary part.

send that kid to the Acadamy . he is dressed correctly
There was two young men doing this in our area & they were targeting & pulling women over, stealing their purses & personal items then tossing their keys so they couldn't leave at end of "stop". I guess they had bought an old cop car that looked real & even had the cage part so they'd put the victim in cage in back of car, go thru their cars & steal anything of value then release them. Very terrifying.
As a man with daughters, I am TERRIFIED to know that there are people like this out there. If an unmarked cop car attempts to pull you over, and you are alone and in a desolate area, do not pull over!! Find a populated area with a lot of people!!

Also, when the cop asked if he had a gun, he said “no” and then says “no, you can search the car.” He mistakenly consented to a search trying to prove a point. If he knew his rights better that might not have happened. With all those Chick-Fil-A bags and Mike's hard lemonade it looks like he was on stake out for days 🤣🤣 really playing the part!!
He's dangerous for impersonating a cop and pulling people over. What a power-hungry little creep.

19 years old still playing cops & robbers, some might say this is what serial killers are made of. The audacity of him actually pulling people over in his personal KIA! Scary to think what this “kid” is capable of.
Oh ya. He’s gonna want more and more and he’s still very young. He doesn’t want to be a cop because he wants to help people…
id rather him be playin the cop then the robber....
Serial killers are not like this.. Serial killers are remarkably normal on the outside. Bundy, Ed kemper, btk, golden state killer, they usually in positions of power and have plenty friends.
@@RealDixonPeter Not always. There was a nurse in Canada that killed 14 or 15 of her patients. She was the most notorious serial killer in Canada. Her personality was nothing like Bundy. This is not always the case.
@@zeebeaux I'd rather have him playing cop than actually being a cop. 🙂

Dang.
Dude looks like he left in a hurry with all those clothes in the trunk.
He knows exactly what he's doing and it's dangerous. He's playing games pretending to be a sheriff.
Exactly!!!!
He wants to be a pretend sheriff then Joe bob on the lam could “play cowboy” and shoot to kill.
I'm Aussie is a sheriff the same as Police Officer. Ta😊
Sort of, a sheriff is an elected official whose main duty is to ensure the law is upheld within a certain county. They can also appoint deputies to assist with their duties. Police officers ensure the law is upheld within a city. Both are law enforcement, the biggest difference is essentiallyjust their jurisdiction.

People like this are disturbing
Lots of double talk, misdirections and distractions from this kid.
These are some of the scariest people. The disconnect this kid had was chilling. He knew what he was doing in his own fantasy world and that world doesn't play nice with the real world.
I think he was living out of his car and he told them he was pulled over a few times in two different states for wearing the uniform. If they didn't arrest him he would continue doing it.
How does the fantasy world not play nice with the real world? What does that mean? Is that something you made up? It sounds like it.

Jesus Christ of COURSE there's a mental issue here. Multiple probably
If you are so insecure with yourself that you have to pretend to be an authority figure to get people to do with you want, then you're probably mentally troubled.
@@alm9951 , it’s common sense to understand what he means. This kid is an NPC.
Give the reporting guy a flipping medal!!! Imagine he didn't get caught and actually got to be a cop someday😬
This kid will 100% be a cop someday still
@@DPaintingC I doubt he will ever get a job in law enforcement after this is on his record.
All cops are just like this guy, they just didn't get caught doing anything
@@reddboi7702 generalizing a whole group of people is wrong.
Or…if he used this “get up” to pull over or detain, say a young woman who believes he is a cop and then rapes or murders her. Or when he inserts himself into a dangerous situation purporting to be a law enforcement officer and people end up dying because he is an untrained nutbutcket. And the reason he keeps “not getting hired” is because he can’t pass a psych evaluation b/c he’s CRAZY!
And he’s a bad liar!
I hope this kid learns from this. Good lord that is a large center he is going to!
This is EXACTLY why Police Officers MUST UNDERSTAND when people get scared and want to pull over to a safe location to pull over when being stopped
What you must understand is that many ppl misuse that action and will drive for miles while passing countless safe locations.
Your definition of 'safe location' may be totally and unreasonably 'over the top'.
Any good officer knows what a reasonable safe location is.
@@markstone1619 There are many bad officers, though.
200%!
@@markstone1619 Hitting people with an evasion charge for driving to a well lit place at normal speed is a bit ridiculous though even if they do pass something that could be considered a safe place. Not really evasion when you aren't trying to get away.
@@redtra236 I never said a word about an 'evasion charge', but it's not rocket science to know when someone is being totally unreasonable and way 'over the top' in them continuing to drive to a place that ONLY 'they' feel is safe.
The law works by what a consortium of REASONABLE ppl would do, NOT what YOU in particular choose to do.
Reasonable ppl will see that you passed 5, 8, or even a dozen or more very safe places to stop, which would then be ruled 'not reasonable'. That's how the jury system is supposed to work.
When I pretended to be a cop I was running around a tree in my backyard with my friends who were robbers. It's not like that anymore in this world huh.
Lol you think this is a brand new thing? People have been impersonating police officers for longer than you’ve been alive lol

What a creep…
The fact that he had two pair of handcuffs is worrisome enough. Imagine being a woman alone pulled over by him late at night or on some rural road. 😮
FYI, two pairs of handcuffs isn't unusual for true LEOs. Even one of the real LEOs in the video had two pairs.
@@VictorMinchihLee True, some LEOs can have upwards of 4, even 5 cuffs in their Squad. There have been occasions, as insensitive as it sounds, where one person needs multiple cuffs due to their size and needing longer cuffs.
@@VictorMinchihLee YEAH BUT THE GUY IS NOT A COP 🥴
Some places make it illegal to have cuff keys and legal cuffs you have to have a job number. That’s from my experience even buying mace in the store but what’s weird is we use the same MK4 from Amazon in the facilities. 🙏🏽
