my close friend can’t share her feelings much and I said “just do journaling, it decreases headache makes your mind clear!” And after a week she said “thank you, it helped me.”
I journal almost every day, and it helps me to elevate my level of happiness. Thanks to you guys, I started journaling my emotions as well. My emotions are under control, it has become easier for me to navigate my emotions. Especially anger. Yes, no one would want to take their journal and write it down when you are angry, but trust me it works.
When I wrote down how I felt in a journal it helped me with my postpartum depression. It's like I released 90% of my anger, sadness, worries and anxiety on a page.
I’ve been hopelessly depressed over the last year and am just now starting to do some of these habits to help improve myself. I’ve always tried journaling but failed to keep it up. Now I use the notes app on my phone instead of pen and paper because it allows me to write anywhere, anytime. I used to read like crazy when I was younger but haven’t in years. I’m just starting to read again. It’s amazing what small things can do to improve your mood. Even over short periods of time.
Self- love is most important. If we cannot love ourself the way we would show love and affection to others then how can we expect true love in return from others? So live life, enjoy life to the fullest. Your past should be lessons that taught you to be better not bitter. Cherish everything and make peace with yourself. Love and light 🌈🦋🌹
@@asi4671 love does not always go in pair with your sex life. It's not about romantic love. If you are assexual you still can love people around your such as friends, family members and even some random person that happened to make a nice gesture towards you. I write my journal for over 5 years. It really helps your self being. It's like a close friend you can say literally EVERYTHING and that won't judge you
I have adopted the journaling habit for more than 1 year, but for some periods of time I didn't do it as often as I should. However, being through a tough time of experiencing a breakup made me do it every day and I can recognize how helpful it is for me to go over the period. I write down every thought and wondering my mind comes up. I allow them to flow out and I actually realize underlying problems and solutions burden deep down.
I love to journal❤. I love to read children's story book a lot with my girlfriend. We read stories to each other and that is one of our favourite activity. It fills me with so much of happiness. She is so full of life and my happy place 🤭❤
I started journaling a few months ago, and it really does its thing. Just like 5 minutes every day about one new thing I have learned or what habit I want to adapt. Its amazing, I highly recommend it to everyone to at least try it.
I love reading kid/teen books, and I’m gonna do journaling again. I haven’t done it much since the Coronavirus pandemic started last year, and I’m gonna write more positive things while leaving the negative things out!
The Doctor Who reference made me cry, cause I'm currently depressed due to medical issues (fuck1ng endometriosis and myopia) and rewatching DW is one of the few things that can calm me down ❤
I journal every day (or at least I used to, until other things got in the way…I should probably start doing it again; thanks for the reminder! 😊), and it has really helped me deal with my anxiety disorder and the stress that it often brings. I’d recommend journaling to anyone, as it works incredibly well!
I am trying to be more mindful & concentrate in doing just one thing at a time (be it a big task or small). Juggling multiple tasks used to always make me feel drained. I am learing to be more mindful - I am not very good at it yet. Concentrating in just one task till its completion really gives a sense of happiness & accomplishment.

If you're a girl into anime i really suggest you take a look to Mahoutsukai No Yakusoku, it's not an anime but a game and the stories are all translated. There's a lot of tragic stories but also a lot of happy endings on this game's stories, its about magic, wizards and its wonderfully made.
Me: *currently reading a book about a psychotic women who’s obsessed with her ex and looks through this random couples window daily…* Next on my reading list: *a guy that has 12 days to convince the president to attack another country for no reason cause his boss wants him to*
Movies can be bad too. The first time I saw Titanic, the tragedy was brought to life so well, couldn't sleep that night. It was worst than any horror movie!
I journal in the morning. I do read books that inspire me. I try to spend time with happy people. It's hard to find people that are not complaining about life. I am involved in groups of personal interest. Still struggling with arthritis at my young age.
Best thing to feel happy is to have a hobby! It's really good to have one ! It makes you happy, creative (depends on type of hobby) engaged excited relaxed and a sense of accomplishment
hmmm lets see 1. read books about wonder - I can probably do this. The only sad part is that any good book will always have to end 2. Drink a healthy amount of coffee - I will skip this since I don't really drink caffeine. Maybe next school year I might. 3. Don't focus on Materialistic goods - Well I'm a pretty spoiled brat myself but I'm gonna try to do something fun 4. Make it a habit being around happy people - This is possible. . . . But it seems rare even nowadays. And I'm also the socially awkward which makes it nearly impossible to make new friends and my weird reputation also says the same thing but my reputation is mostly in school. 5. Join Clubs/Cultural activities - As I said in the 3rd I don't really feel like I have something fun to do but maybe. 6. Keep a journal on your feelings - I can do this but the burden I carry with my emotions prevents me from doing this.
hey!! what i have to say is try new things and learn new things,, try to ignite passions for things and find community that share the same interest!! and people are a lot nicer than we think,, our greatest enemies are ourselves most of the time! you got this! put the phone down, reconnect with old friends, family, maybe even apply to that job that’s been catching your attention! whatever it is, you could do it! live a life you want to look back at, thank you for being!
I’m sticking with tea as my caffeinated drink. I never felt better with coffee but tea always helps me feel better. I also enjoy the ritual. That doesn’t mean I don’t learn how to make coffee. Plenty of family and loved ones like coffee and I love making it for them. It’s a love language thing. Plus, a smidge of coffee in brownies is a great accent.
I journal every single day and it has helped a lot with dealing with my anxiety. I used to find it hard to believe if it even works at all. But after trying it for myself, I must admit, journalling truly helps.
My best tips: 1. Go outside and soak up sunlight regularly 2. Excercise. 3x a week at least. Find a way of moving you enjoy. 3. Learn to play an instrument 4. Get at least 8 hours of sleep and try to keep a regular sleep rhythm 5. Eat healthy. Having some sweets or fast food now and then is fine but try and norish your body with good food. I like the color rule: Try to have as many colors as possible in your meals. And learn to love veggies.
1.read stories of wonder. (Inspiring) 2.Being in a present moment 3.coffee 4.dont focus3 on materilistic goals 5.make a habbit to around happy people. 6. Join clubs and participate in cultural activities. 7.keep a journal and write ( how ur feeling)
You know, I can seriously vouche for coffee. My family is notorious among my inner circle for being “the free coffeehouse” because we’ve always got a fresh pot brewing. With three anxious women (plus my husband) all in one house, the coffee disappears quickly so we have to keep brewing it for everyone to get their preferred amount. Maybe stuff like this is an example of “appreciating the small things”. I can honestly say that no matter how bad a mood I’m in, I can ALWAYS walk down the hall and have a perfectly made cup, even late into the night (the pot gets turned off at 10:00 p.m.) I highly support the idea of a good cup of coffee!
My pastor told me a few months ago to get me one of those Starbucks coffees that come in a glass bottle when I go to the grocery store.. I was so confused.. and she said do you know why? She said because it makes me happy 😅❤ I am always so in awe at God and that also makes me happy LOL
0:04 That's my favourite movie!! Because now I think those emotions are actual people inside my head lol it's kind of like a coping mechanism because I only have one friend who I can actually relate with and those 5 emotions in my head are like my friends who really understand me (Im talking about inside out)
I really appreciate this channel that this channel although called Psych2Go is not overly positive and doesn't oversee lesser pleasant topics like depression, burnout, eating disorders, etc. since it is so important to approach these issues in a constructive and healthy way so that people who suffer from them can learn how to deal with them better or even try to treat them. I love this channel. In my opinion, channels who only focus on how to feel happy and productive are depressive because it makes me feel like a failure since other topics aren't even mentioned. Too much positivity is toxic.
This channel is better than every psychotherapist and mental doctor I've had. I can take everything with all my experiences while watching these, and differentiate the reality of things from my mind's reality. Make more awe moments.. life needs more awe and wonder. Thanks for the advice.
Another habit might be, to walk at least once a day for 15-20min, or just go outside and breathe some fresh air outside your house. Because I noticed when I got a dog and needed to walk with it I became happier, and don't say its because of the dog!😄😄😄
I have been writing journals since I was 9 yrs. old. Been 8 years now, I still write a new journal every year. Really makes me laugh reading my old experiences and feelings. Makes me stay the happy person I am ^o^
Y’all I got some tips to make you more happier, I used to be sad and emo but now I’m doing a lot better. The first major tip is enjoying little things, it might sound dumb or whatever but when you enjoy little things you start to appreciate things more, like for example I get happy whenever I see bright green grass or a nice blue sky. I used to always not be sad but just bland bc I thought that if something amazing didn’t happen everyday that the day was boring but now I realize that a mediocre day is still good :) Second, thinking of things more positively. Third, ok so I have a big problem w/ just sitting at home all day on my devices so what I do is just doing little things to make me feel more productive so I feel better abt myself like writing in a journal, going on a walk, doing random crafts, going on errands, etc. Fourth, y’all do skincareeee plsss it makes you feel so productive and it also is good for you and it feels AMAZE
This is actually true! All of what you've just said!😊 It'll really makes us happier if we became grateful & focus first on the small things, instead of finding something big realquick. It's some of the things you can have without a cost.💗
While watching this video, I ended up thinking about things that might make my life happier too. Since I can't drink coffee anymore... I won't put it on my list. :") 1. Have a morning quiet time when I draw or do arts&craft. 2. Drink plenty of water. 3. Do a 15-minute stretching exercise. 4. Read a book/comic/story book. 5. Eat breakfast before 9. 6. Practicing one day at a time, also focusing on one task at a time. 7. Watch cat&dog videos. 8. Don't eat spicy food. 9. Write down how I feel, what makes me happy, sad, the reasons why, and things that I'm grateful for. 10. Trying to sleep early. Instead of 6, I wrote 10. 😆❤️
@@Psych2go I already read great stories. I think I would love to attend plays. I already drink plenty of coffee. The problem is I use cream and sugar. I need to love black coffee. I have decreased my materialism. I don’t buy COACH bags anymore. I value memories more. I need to work on being around happy people. My agoraphobia keeps me home but I think challenging myself to get out once a week would be beneficial. I would love to join a book club. I mean an actual NOT online book club. I journal daily but I need to work on writing longer entries. Thank you for this channel. Melissa 🌼
Journaling affected me negatively. It lead to overthinking, and spending my day preparing for the writing entry, rather than being in the moment and savouring the experience. All the past instances of negative experiences written there also further bogged me down. I may be part of a minority regarding this, but quitting journalling actually helped my mood.
It would be very useful to see a video with some practical advice on journaling. I like writing, but doesn't have a clear view on what to write exactly.
I got my help from someone, he was the only one who was able to help me bring back my ex husband back to me and he save and solve my relationship problem
I've tried keeping a journal so many times but much like every new habit I try to make I can't seem to keep up with it no matter how much I try. I just keep falling back into my old rut which is not doing me good long term at all but distracts me in the moment and keeps my mind occupied even if I'm not able to be productive or properly do a lot of good for myself.
I don't know if it's only me but ever since I started my path with this channel I have become happier, more confident, and my love life is getting better thank you guys .....❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Grace- how about begin your day by looking at the mirror and see the beautiful YOU. How about begin expressing gratitude for things that you have. Many a times we feel depressed, unhappy and empty because we are focusing on what we miss instead of what we are left with whatever bit it is or however small it is. I am not advising you but this is what I do. In the end Self- love is the most important factor. Nobody will remain with you except your body so first learn to love yourself and care about your body and health. You will be most happiest person in this world. Sending you lots of positive vibes and light in your life 🦋🌈🌹
Hi grace. I'm a 32 yrs old lady doctor. I suffered from depression for 3yrs. I did everything I could to just stay alive. I think I have a good idea how you feel. I know sometimes you think no one can understand your devastation and hopelessness. That may be true. But please hear me out. There are health care professionals that are beyond kind and understanding. Some of them will know exactly how to help you. Maybe you think you'll never be happy again, that's what I thought when I was depressed. This is not true. Please believe me. I'm sure you can ask for help from someone. A friend. A relative. Or a doctor. Take it slowly and keep going. A couple of pills can do wonders sometimes, they did for me . Just seek help from a professional. May you be healthy and happy. This is from the bottom of my heart.

So true...I relate to a lot!
A lot of these are so true for me.
Thanks. I needed that
I love the fact that you wrote adopting a pet instead of writing buying a pet ☺️
my close friend can’t share her feelings much and I said “just do journaling, it decreases headache makes your mind clear!” And after a week she said “thank you, it helped me.”
Aww Thank you for sharing! Great job! We're glad that journalling has helped you :)
I do the same
When I wrote down how I felt in a journal it helped me with my postpartum depression. It's like I released 90% of my anger, sadness, worries and anxiety on a page.
I’m working on journaling too and it really helps when I write. When I forget I start feelings more depressed again
No one can replace the narrator's voice!
I love her voice and I can't watch any video without her voice and emotions! 💞
I absolutely love the narrators voice also. Really soothing interesting and addictive to listen to.
Amanda’s voiceover is so instantly calming and comforting 😌
I’ve been hopelessly depressed over the last year and am just now starting to do some of these habits to help improve myself. I’ve always tried journaling but failed to keep it up. Now I use the notes app on my phone instead of pen and paper because it allows me to write anywhere, anytime. I used to read like crazy when I was younger but haven’t in years. I’m just starting to read again. It’s amazing what small things can do to improve your mood. Even over short periods of time.
How are you now?
Self- love is most important. If we cannot love ourself the way we would show love and affection to others then how can we expect true love in return from others? So live life, enjoy life to the fullest. Your past should be lessons that taught you to be better not bitter. Cherish everything and make peace with yourself. Love and light 🌈🦋🌹
Me, an assexual, a person that never fell in love or know what love feels like: you see- it's kinda complicated-
@@asi4671 love does not always go in pair with your sex life. It's not about romantic love. If you are assexual you still can love people around your such as friends, family members and even some random person that happened to make a nice gesture towards you. Also love should be given not only to people but to the animals and nature. Cherish what you have and spread love around. That's what it means to love yourself ald others
@@asi4671 Also being assexual does not mean you cannot love... Seriously..
@@Anna-X- yes Anna- what you said is very true. We need to first learn to love and enjoy our own company. Love is pure and has no boundaries. It can be in any form- friends, family, animals, hobbies or nature. Thanks for the comment 🌈🦋
@@kasturiy It's true and sad sometimes how many look for others to approve and love them. Yet once others see how much you love and accept yourself, they will fall in line too!

I count my blessings at the end of the day and write it in my gratitude journal 🌻
I love reading kid/teen books, and I’m gonna do journaling again. I haven’t done it much since the Coronavirus pandemic started last year, and I’m gonna write more positive things while leaving the negative things out!
I'm not much of a book reader but I LOVE animation! It definitely gives me that "awe" factor and I always have a sense of wonder about the world
The Doctor Who reference made me cry, cause I'm currently depressed due to medical issues (fuck1ng endometriosis and myopia) and rewatching DW is one of the few things that can calm me down ❤
I journal every day (or at least I used to, until other things got in the way…I should probably start doing it again; thanks for the reminder! 😊), and it has really helped me deal with my anxiety disorder and the stress that it often brings. I’d recommend journaling to anyone, as it works incredibly well!
YESSSSS!!!
Me too!! It’s really helped with my stress and I find it very relaxing. :)
I just got started and I'm already feeling the effects, I already find writing to be fun as is and to do it for myself, wow the freedom's frightening
Does typing counts? Cuz My handwriting is really bad and I didn't write using my hand for about 4 months now 🙃
@@akmnorman Yes it does! I type my journal, too, for the same reason: bad handwriting. I feel your pain, man.

"read a book about wonder"
Me: reads phycological horror and tragic stories. Mistakes were made.
If you're a girl into anime i really suggest you take a look to Mahoutsukai No Yakusoku, it's not an anime but a game and the stories are all translated. There's a lot of tragic stories but also a lot of happy endings on this game's stories, its about magic, wizards and its wonderfully made.
Me: *currently reading a book about a psychotic women who’s obsessed with her ex and looks through this random couples window daily…*
Next on my reading list: *a guy that has 12 days to convince the president to attack another country for no reason cause his boss wants him to*
Mistakes? Buddy think about reading the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga before bed :D
@@mehmetgurdal i did that and it hurt me so much but I don’t regret it:’)
Movies can be bad too. The first time I saw Titanic, the tragedy was brought to life so well, couldn't sleep that night. It was worst than any horror movie!
I loved it when the cute little animation said that "I had happiness for breakfast"
Make sure you have actual food for breakfast 😄 it's important 😉
OMG, I actually got a reply from you! Thanks ❤❤
Me too! I read it out loud and giggled.
Idk what to say.
THIS IS SO FREAKING GOOD!!! 😤😤😤😤
It makes you happy, creative (depends on type of hobby) engaged excited relaxed and a sense of accomplishment
hmmm lets see
1. read books about wonder - I can probably do this. The only sad part is that any good book will always have to end
2. Drink a healthy amount of coffee - I will skip this since I don't really drink caffeine. Maybe next school year I might.
3. Don't focus on Materialistic goods - Well I'm a pretty spoiled brat myself but I'm gonna try to do something fun
Yeah, I didn't like the coffee suggestion, because It doesn't make you happy, just wired and then you may crash later, lol.
You got this!!! Don’t give up. We will find happiness.
Wow you're beautiful 😍💙
I signed up for the Yale course and I’ve already completed Week 1! Thank you!
i’ve been pretty happy lately, it’s been such a long time since i felt freedom again. ❤
I read and write in my journal daily and it’s doing wonders. Thanks to God😇 Thank u for this video!❤️
I do all these things already (I'm in several clubs, I journal, etc.) and I am a very happy person, so it does bear out!
I journal every single day and it has helped a lot with dealing with my anxiety. I used to find it hard to believe if it even works at all. But after trying it for myself, I must admit, journalling truly helps.
My best tips:
1. Go outside and soak up sunlight regularly
2. Excercise. 3x a week at least. Find a way of moving you enjoy.
3. Learn to play an instrument
4. Get at least 8 hours of sleep and try to keep a regular sleep rhythm
5. Eat healthy. Having some sweets or fast food now and then is fine but try and norish your body with good food. I like the color rule: Try to have as many colors as possible in your meals. And learn to love veggies.
Great tips 😊
1.read stories of wonder. (Inspiring)
2.Being in a present moment
3.coffee
4.dont focus3 on materilistic goals
5.make a habbit to around happy people.
I working journalism since three months ago and I feel big difference in my life it's increase happiness 100 times
0:04 That's my favourite movie!! Because now I think those emotions are actual people inside my head lol it's kind of like a coping mechanism because I only have one friend who I can actually relate with and those 5 emotions in my head are like my friends who really understand me
(Im talking about inside out)
Few habits that i adopted
Gardening
Following a healthy diet
Working out ( even if it is 30 min. Walk )
Cleaning my space
writing journal
Anything that causes you to question yourself is simply a reality check ❤️
The sound of psych is heartwarming like I could cry happiness. Such a lovely and smart beautiful soul!
Awww I loved the joy character in the “inside out” movie

Glad this video helped you fam
I always journal, & read; & I think it might help me; especially, since, I am going through alot of crap, right now.
I feel happy reading this

While watching this video, I ended up thinking about things that might make my life happier too. Since I can't drink coffee anymore... I won't put it on my list. :")
Why not spicy food?
@amandaxu7546 well, it's not good for u if u eat it regularly as it might cause ulcer and upset stomach. It's in my list too hehe

Amanda Silvera has such a relaxing, soothing voice. That's awe for the ears.
Try keeping a journal of positive feelings and experiences only. See if that helps.
Dont bring up and write past negative experiences. Just write about your current feelings.
I only journal the positives and throw out the rest 👍🏻
It would be very useful to see a video with some practical advice on journaling. I like writing, but doesn't have a clear view on what to write exactly.

After that I take a shower, you know to freshen up, and it makes me feel good. Sometimes I feel like drawing and it occupies my mind a lot, and it makes me peaceful! And during the evening I just watch some anime with my sister, and I have some fun with her, we usually binge Netflix, talk and have fun around. I hope that helped you :/

I Have Also Some Strategies That We Can Improve our self Satisfaction
1 . BE THANKFUL WHAT YOU HAVE always because Think Of Those who have not what you have
2 Small Thinks Matters
Enjoy Small Small things in your life like Going some where or doing something Enjoy moments while eating your fav too
3 Make relationship according to you Mind and Where you are happy with And Alway
4 always learn From Mistakes That Can help you in future communication or arguments moment should be pretend for future
Learn to forgive to your self You made mistake no matter every one in this earth Did its not a big issue
What i like about P2Go is that, they are giving only few important things that matters..not a tons of list that are hard to remember. Just 6 or 7,8 that is all i need. Thank you so much
