I’m just so happy to hear him talk about these mixtapes that got me through some times and planted the seed of faith in my brain just by listening to the songs in middle school. J. Cole will know me soon. I’m an Indian kid who raps very well. You’d be surprised.
J. Cole is the definition of timeless music. His storytelling, lyricism, and raw emotion hit differently every time. Whether it's 'Born Sinner,' '2014 Forest Hills Drive,' or 'The Off-Season,' he stays true to himself and keeps inspiring generations. Truly one of the GOATs of our era!
when I saw the notification, I immediately had to see what Cole has blessed us with, and man was I not disappointed! I can’t wait to see what Cole has in store for us 🥹 #coleworld
@@soloknave8814 yeah Friday Night Lights (the mixtape this song was from) was the era I was introduced to J Coles music while in high school. His "OG" tapes are the Come Up (2007), The Warm Up (2009) and Friday Night Lights (2010). These all were released as he was establishing himself and building his fanbase before his debut album
i just wanna say thank you j.cole. one of the many that you have helped through our rough times. forever grateful for being able to be a part of your journey and you through mine. shed tears and laughed at some of your verses. its truly hard to explain but this should give whomever it may concern an idea of how much your music has done for me. i would keep going on but no one gonna see this anyway. never commented on any other song at all. i just had to get this out there. thank you broski
Been rocking with Cole since 08 riding in the back seat of my boys volo bumping the come up the warm up on repeat! All his mixtapes have a special place in my heart.
My guy Cole been following your career since 2007 since Come Up my boy since grade 11.. you don’t even know it but you was apart my young adult years to a grown ass man… you got me through rough times from any given Sunday to truly yours to born sinner to forrest hill drive… all your work has been apart my life for a long time to see your career being told from a different perspective gunna be dope… keep going brother your one of my goats of this generation hands down
Cole I support it bro . U been my number one lyricist since day one bro . I’m 25, I need you to keep leading ur fans . Whether it’s perfect or not . Ur music got me through middle school , high school , and currently ! Love you OG
At first, I was just a kid listening to the songs because of the hype. I never knew what they were actually about. I would just pick a part of the lyrics that was relatable and apply it to my life. I was just young and dumb, but now I have grown into a person who understands “lyricism” and how it relates-all thanks to Cole. I have watched this man rap about his struggles all the way from the “Come Up.” Isn’t that exciting? I mean, to find someone who raps about what they live, someone who doesn’t let fame get to his head, someone who doesn’t let his ego get the best of him. There’s a lot more I can paint about this person artistically, but too much excitement has me short of words. I feel like the “Inevitable” is going to be more than just an audio for me; I feel like it is a connection between Cole and his fans. It’s a whole lot of excitement hearing your favorite person discuss your favorite albums and songs-that’s a moment to live in. I am so nervous
what’s crazy is i just uploaded a couple months ago the come up and fnl and truly yours in my spotify then he comes out with putting it on spotify and bro. this video then drops? favorite artist of all time i watched his other documentaries countless of times now we getting another one
I'm just grateful for cole. From looking like him to tryna rap like him. I just didn't pursue it as hard as him and man he got me through a lot of tough times

I wanna cry so bad rn, Jermaine is really the best to ever do it and I love stuff like this, it feels like I’m getting to know one of my favs all over again, can’t wait for the rest of the episodes
All eyes gonna be on Cole the end of the year. The seasons have been rought the past several months, but maybe, just maybe, this can produce a thing of beauty from all the skepticism & resentments against J.Cole. As the narratives surrounding his rap culture legacy and the followers who still have hope are at risk, the way forward has to be endured. It would be unfair to me to say there are only a few challenges on his journey, but he owes it to himself to come fully as himself before it all. Good Luck.
