I didn't know that half of these artists had labels 💀
Yelawolf has made some crazy music after leaving Shady!
Grade A have to be one of the most dogshit labels ever, they were given one of the biggest rappers huge catalogs after his death and not putting out anything fans want is beyond me
What about Mass Appeal Records with Nas, Dave East, Ezri etc ?
Forgot to mention rhymesayers entertainment. They definitely deserve to be in the conversation for rap labels.
aesop kind of carrying at this point though
@@jacobbarry219 that’s fair to say, butt I’m just sad they weren’t mentioned at all.
Great video as usual❤.
KEN ✅ OPIUM
LONLEY ✅ OPIUM
HOMIXIIDE GANG ❌ NOT OPIUM
he also forgot L5
@@jteg7721 i dont think L5 is officially signed yet
Dreamville is fs the best. haven’t heard majid jordan from ovo inna while. J cole cares about his label
IM BEYOND THANKFUL GRISELDA GOT MENTIONED🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm watching this like im going to get sign to one of them💀
Taylor gang is an interesting one that i would have been intrigued to hear ur take on
Opium no question asked destroylonely and ken Carson are literally stars and are making waves by themselves
Dreamville really lives up to its name
The fact that this page is called fantastic hip hop when the research for its "facts" are minimal at best is crazy.
What?
What u on
@@TMJYT When it came to certain labels he would copy and paste stuff also with the opium label he left out a major artist apart of their label
Yeah…no sales numbers, org charts, personal life affecting label moves, beefs affecting sales
On my way to dreamville
“So all in all” 🤨 bout sums up the depth of this video
Cool video. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on Strange Music and Rhymesayers.
i Rather Be Independant Than signing to a Record Label
I definitely agree 1000% independent is the best even tho is a lot of work but you can do what you want to do and make a lot of huge money major label sucks at the end of the day
Tory was right all along and even give us that advice shout out to him and #freetory@@antwanalston4572
RBITRL?
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN@@CreamPi-God
It sadly is not that simple. Record labels provide funds and marketing for your record. So unless you are a Kanye where you can go independent and get a number 1 album most artists need a label
missing homixide gang in opium :/
Ong they always left out 😭
@@egils-_- tbh they the most underrated in opium . more conisistent than ken or lone tbh .
@Falconeer55 L5 signed to 43va . he was nly cosigned . the nly other artists to be signd then dropped in a short time was glokk40spaz caus beno accidentally started beef with glokk40spaz .
Not only are they always the odd one out, they are nowhere newr as popular as the opium big 3
@@junyaiwase still part of it nd is big on tiktok . theyr barely even underground atp .
Cactus jack has the potential to end up like OVO sound where only 2 artist thriving from the label
Aye faygo got potential
@@fullmetal2455 bro has had potential for 4 years now
@@fullmetal2455Travis must push him and Faygo must push himself too
I will definitely use this information before I get signed to a rap label
More evidence for J Cole's GOAT status
You should look into G59 records, they got a lot of good talent I can see the whole label blowing up here soon especially with germs recent album and with the boys dropping an album In a couple months with features from all of their artist, it's gonna be a good year for G59
You missed that Metro Boomin recently was signed to Cactus Jack, not sure if he would qualify for the video since he’s a producer though.
I didnt even kno OVO sound was a label. Nice vid.
This will definitely be helpful when I finally choose which label to sign with 😎
It would’ve been nice to hear about Curren$y and JLR
Dreamville is easily the best.
Great content my guy
This guy saying lil baby fell off but hyping up carti for an album from 2020 is crazy
Cuz its true nobody talkin bout lil baby no more its carti time now
@@Nulsiga only thing I hear people talking about cardi is how he finesse that streamer. Nobody I know plays his sht in the car but I haven’t been around teenagers so that might be it.
@@dijone11mus1 you gotta be like 30+ years old if you dont hear people basting HOODBYAIR in their cars rn
@@dijone11mus1carti has dropped NOTHING on spotify solo after 2020, yet he nearly got twice the amount of streams as lil baby, and also being ranked #36 in the world despite having nothing solo in 3 years is still proof if you want to ignore the insane hype carti has been generating with the Music rollout
@@prinzdenax or carnival bro fs an old head
Being an artist is one thing, managing artists is a different thing.
What about M-M-M-MAYBACH music and Taylor gang… which I thought ty was still apart of ?
All of this feels eerily similar to universities lmao. Imagine an upcoming artist watching this and writing down all of the labels they wanna sign up in the future.
Dreamville is the best lable to sign to
Can you make the Best and Worst Independant Rappers of all time
tory lanez
russ
chance the rapper
noname
and others
Is Russ a rapper? 😂 I thought he was a DJ
Chance don’t deserve to be on there
@kaydenv8669 just a question unrelated are you on the spectrum
@@kaydenv8669it says best and worst
Noname >>>> everyone else there
Just listen to ‘1993’ and you can tell how well dreamville just effortlessly make good music together.
TDE must give thanks to Kendrick coz he benefited the work he done and creativity.
I think it's mutual.
Kinda ironic putting pgLang right before OVO xD
What about the concrete family yachty, draft day, karrahbooo, trill, and camo?
They just getting started so they can’t be rated
i know Grade A isn't a label thats all about rap but its a crime what theyve done to Juice's legacy
Forgot homixide gng in opium
Great video thanks for the the info
