This video got me home. I lost throttle at the pedal. Called a friend to pill me home. While waited I found this video. Yes if you disconnect and reconnect the idle switch while pressing throttle. Throttle will come back.i git home friend just followed me. Thank you very much.
My 2001 7.3 blew the 10A fuse about 8 mths ago. Replaced fuse. Blew fuse again last week. Replaced fuse. Blew fuse again 1 week later. I wonder what that issue could be?
I have a 2010 F250 with a 6.4, recently rebuilt.. it's been deleted and tuned but is sluggish from take off since the rebuild. Any idea what could be causing this?
I've thought about that but I'm not exactly sure how to check for it. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer! And so quickly!! I'm from Texas but in Alabama working right now and can't take it back to the shop that rebuilt the motor so I'll have to look into how to check for a leak. Thank you!
I maybe a woman but I'm pretty sure thats not the throttle position sensor it's the accelerator sensor the TPS is located under the hood attached to the throttle body.

Thanks for the comment, I am happy to hear my video was helpful
Love the content man. I know u don't have tone of subs yet, but u will get there. I believe in you
I appreciate that!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and skills very helpful I subbed your channel looking forward to seeing more
Thanks for the sub!
Good job explaining and breaking it down
Thanks
i was wondering if ur power stroke when u pushed the gas it did nothing then gradually excelled but wouldn't do very high speeds
Yah it did that sometimes
I have no throttle at all, and i replaced the whole pedal assembly. What do you think is wrong
Could be a broken wire in the harness, or a bad replacement assembly
@TattsForLife hmmm I'm not sure it was brand new even tested all the sensors from the old pedal
@@TattsForLife how would you tell
@TattsForLife even if I disconnected the sensors it still doesn't have throttle only idles
Mine does the same thing. New accelerator did not fix it. Does your check engine light come on, when you press the pedal?
Hi good evening I have ford f650 with u caterpillar engine in it I have same throttle issues do
U think is same problem

Sounds like a short somewhere in the system that controls that fuse, prob a bare wire touching metal
@@TattsForLife: Could be, but hope it's a switch in the fuel pedal.
Which fuse is relevant to this circuit. My '95 f350 ps 7.3l has no pedal response, I tried replacing the entire accelerator but no luck.
Great video
Thanks for the visit

Boost leak maybe

@@chrisplummer8588 using smoke would be the best way to check it

The 7.3 does not have a throttle body, it has fuel injectors. In many cases you would be correct though, just not this one.
@@BudgetGunner1 I concur I had to figure this out the hard way breaking a 7.3 down jus to realize it was a sensor on the pedal gotta love them fords
That didn’t work
Sorry that it did not work for you
