I have seen so many RUclipsrs burn themselves out trying to create content pleasing to an audience. You seem to just find projects that you enjoy, and it makes us both happy 😁
I’m not much of a commenter-my natural inclination is lurking - but your reminders about it making a difference has finally convinced me. I love all of your projects, of which I’ve seen many by now, and I especially enjoy the variety of sensibilities and ideas . The results are not always to my personal taste, but the range of styles and remaking techniques is always interesting. Also really impressive it the skillful way you’ve edited the videos. They’re never repetitive but I also get a good idea of how you’ve done things, exactly; this is something that does not always happen with other rehabbers. Thank you!
Jay I do not know how I missed this video. What amazes me is the many tools you used to create the panels as well as the surface. I would call this cabinet recycled beauty. You have more creative ideas than anyone else on furniture channels
Corner tables are very unique! I like the vibe. I used to have an old tabletop radio that I inherited from my step-father, but it was stolen in 2011. I haven't been financially able to acquire another one yet.
I startred collecting anttiques when I was 16 & my mom & I lucked out on a free antique radio that we restored. Its still one of my favorite pieces. We were even able to get the exact reproduction fabric it originally came with & got it working perfectly by a vintage radio restorer. Its so cool.
My friend who is an electrical engineer and 73 years old nearly had a heart attack when you ripped out the speaker! He LOVES the old valves inside and nearly cried himself to sleep. Funny, how one person's idea of furniture or older item is precious and to another is junk. I love the finished cabinet, and am glad you kept the heritage of the piece by keeping the old labels.
@@Flippingdrawers Merry Christmas Jay. Hope Santa fills your stockings for ya. Have a great one buddy. Ours is shaping up well thankfully. Only me and the two kiddos and that suits me fine. Less pressure.
This antique piece of furniture was repurposed into an absolutely gorgeous piece of art! It is useful & beautiful. The 3-D printer is a very useful machine! Love how this turned out!
I'd call what you do a "flipping miracle!" The wood on that piece was just so beautiful. The grain was interesting. I like the shape of the piece - that corner and curved front were interesting. Thanks for sharing another great project. Merry Christmas to you.
What a wonderful display of skill & imagination. You have not simply restored an old worn out piece of furniture but you have very effectively repurposed it & given it a new life & a new role. Love the use of your new CNC machine. I am toying with the idea of getting one myself but just a simple one for cutting out jigsaw puzzles that I design. Love your work mate, cheers, Don from South Australia.
I think it's called "refinishing" a piece when you change its appearance but since you made it to be used for something else, I'd call it repurposed. It is an adorable corner piece!!
Ach Jay it's fabulous. I absolutely love it. Love the offset handles. Love the new grid. Love the little pair of owls on top of it. Love the vase - it looks like amber, beautiful. That's some piece of kit you have there. What a fabulous gift. The possibilities Jay. So happy for you. So jealous too but happy.
I love watching you take something and repurpose it into something else . I watched my dad make different things I have several things my dad made I have a small three drawer chest my dad made out of a packing crate it still has a list of what was 0
Dear Jay, I have been binge watching your videos for the last couple of weeks. I just love your work as well as the furry visitors from next door. I would call what you do "creative rejuvenation" because you make something new out of something old and add your very own creative touch to it. I am looking forward to new videos and send you warmest greetings from Cologne, Germany. Maya
Repurposed is what I call a project that I take and change and create something new but if I would have kept it a radio I would have called it a up cycle 😂 that would be so cool to change it into a modern Bluetooth speaker/radio and kept it looking old somehow. You made it look like a million dollars!! You do amazing work ❤
Jay, my heart is a flutter. This piece is so gorgeous. The color of the wood is beautiful and the handles are perfection. Love what you are doing with the printer.
Re-imagined furniture. I love what you do to pieces who have outlived there original purpose. You have such great vision and the exquisite skills to bring your vision to fruition🙌💚👏
Olá...sou do Brasil e te acompanho. Gosto muito do teu trabalho!! Da forma tecnica e delicada de tratar cada projeto. Parabens!! Mais videos!!!! Abraços
Ok, let me tell you something. Your works are amazing, the choice of the parts to restore and the creativity deployed to make them different but keeping the essence are gorgeus. Thank you
I think youy work on some of the most interesting pieces of furniture. This is another save re repurposing. Beautiful outcome, and the fact you put the lables back on reveaals the history of this cute piece to anyone who buys it. Very well done with the usual attention to detail. Impressed by the machinery you have to help you create beyond the norm.
Well done! Just like a surgeon removing from the outside in, lol. Those are so fun to work on, your imagination runs wild. Just love the lattice you made with the Lazer cutter. Really beautiful piece jay!
😮 that vase you 3D printed for the final result pictures stole the show for me. When it was done I thought it looked like sticks of butter 🤣 but whatever you did to finish it... it's amazing! 🥰
Nice! That old radio cabinate has a new life. It will have generations of stories to tell if we ever learn to listen. You sure did have fun with your 3-D printer! I had never seen one work before. Cool!
Fantastic! Your creative designs are always a delight. I'd call what you're doing "Upcycle" because the furniture always looks a zillion time better after than before. And you 3-in-1 gizmo tool is just the best. If I had one, I'd spend all my time and money playing with it. Thank you for another lovely video!!! Cheers from Oklahoma.
Ok, where do I begin? The cabinet turned out gorgeous. Beautiful little piece of history! That vase is amazing and so is the 3D printer. Just wow. And the icy windows! Haven’t seen that much cold air in a long time. Merry Christmas. Thoroughly enjoy your videos.
It’s highly upgraded refinishing but in truth it’s ART!! Anyway, you had me when I saw the curved doors! BTW, I’m forwarding this to several friends who will want to see the CNC machine in action. It’s just too cool for school as we say in the states. Thank you.
I love how it turns out, I wish that you could have put the front of the radio back on, and made the back peace flip down so you could use the shelf and maybe have the flipped door as a writing table
I have never seen a corner radio cabinet before, what an interesting piece! As usual, you did a fabulous job reimagining this piece. I love how you use a lot of natural materials as well as using your new printer to get into the future with your work. Happy Holidays to you and yours and we will see you in 2023🌲⛄🤓
Wow❗Absolutely wonderful restore and/or repurpose for the former radio frim Mr. Marconi.😊 The 3D printer is such an amazing resource. Results are beyond gorgeous.🎄 Merry Christmas & Happy 2023🎉
Very nice. Your woodworking skills are equal to a good restoration, but when you change the original purpose of the peice it becomes a repurposed peice. So it was restored and repurposed. It is flawless work here. Loved the new pulls and panels.
Jay I would say that most of your submission are enjoyable. In this case I could not believe what you did to this antique. You asked for a description of how to define your work in this instance. After watching you go to work with that hammer on that beautiful Marconi unit, I would have to say vandalism.
Very nice piece of Art . That 3D printer/lazar cutter was interesting, I shared the clip with my husband, as he wants to get a 3D printer. This one does more than one job, so I find that very useful.
Okay, it turned out very nice. A good-looking night-stand (or whatever). However, at my age I would have preferred to keep the old radio and refurbish the case. I like old stuff!
Wow just found your video after I purchased an old radio cabinet for no reason at all 😂 I love your work! You definitely gave me some great ideas! And you’re so pleasant to watch! ❤
Love this piece so versatile and gorgeous….love the unique pieces you find and “repurpose “ as another follower said…think it’s a great word to describe these types of makeovers….thank you for sharing and Merry Christmas to you🎄🌟
I love your channel. I almost cried watching you disassemble that radio. I’m a radio guy. That could have been fixed. Don’t get me wrong I do love your work.
I'm slowly catching up on all of your video's and I think this is the most charming piece you've made! I love what you did in the final results, showing how unique both the piece is and what you could do with your new machine! I'm definitly a fan!
There's nothing nicer than being called a Beautiful Person on a wet Sunday night
❤️
Agreed....it's raining here on Kauai!
Love this sweet cabinet, I’d buy it just because it’s so cute. 🌻🐝
I have seen so many RUclipsrs burn themselves out trying to create content pleasing to an audience. You seem to just find projects that you enjoy, and it makes us both happy 😁
Well said! Thank you for watching! 😊
I call that kind of restoration, upcycling, repurposing a piece. Loved what you did with it.
I’m not much of a commenter-my natural inclination is lurking - but your reminders about it making a difference has finally convinced me.

Typically called Repurposed, love your videos 💕
I think a good thing to call this sort of make-over is repurposed furniture. Love your videos. Have a great Christmas.
❤️🎄
That's exactly what my reply was. And what an amazing repurpose this is!
Those door pulls are the best!
Such a good idea! 😄
that was the word I was looking for, kept thinking recycled but didn’t feel quite right.
I am impressed by how easily the old finish scraped off. This is beautifully repurposed, and I love the new hardware.
you saved the workmanship of another person's hand. That is awesome.
Thank you 😊
Corner tables are very unique! I like the vibe. I used to have an old tabletop radio that I inherited from my step-father, but it was stolen in 2011. I haven't been financially able to acquire another one yet.
Upcycle is what today's terminology is. Making something old into something better, usually with a different purpose.
You can call it a redo or upcycle... I call it beautiful!👍
Thanks, Jay! ❄️☃️🎄
Thanks Annie 🥰🎄
A beautiful piece when radios and record players used to be a piece of furniture.
I startred collecting anttiques when I was 16 & my mom & I lucked out on a free antique radio that we restored. Its still one of my favorite pieces. We were even able to get the exact reproduction fabric it originally came with & got it working perfectly by a vintage radio restorer. Its so cool.
The growth of your subscribers is a testament to the quality of your work.
Looks beautiful, love how it turned out. Really like the choice of hardware.❤

Re-Purpose-Modern - Beautiful work.
Not going to lie, as beautiful as the finished result is, I am a tad disappointed that it is no longer a radio :(
Im not an engineer

I call this upcycling. Beautiful work you do!

This would be so perfect for putting a Bluetooth speaker in. Absolutely stunning restoration makeover, whatever you call it, it is ART!
🥰
Beautiful 😍
Beautiful work!

I love the work and I think you could call it a rest-over I think that says everything you need to say. Keep up the fantastic videos.
In the classic car industry, this principal is called a restomod.

I would call it restorative upcycle. The end result is beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
So happy that you got that machine that does CNC and 3-D printing, it's going to take your already amazing work to the next level!
Thanks ☺️ it’s super useful
I'd call it a furniture face lift. You got rid of all the warts and wrinkles that old furniture can have. Well done, as always
You are blessed with a "great eye" for design....nice work and thank you!
Thanks for watching 🎄❤️
Jay, my heart is a flutter. This piece is so gorgeous. The color of the wood is beautiful and the handles are perfection. Love what you are doing with the printer.

Very nice transformation! Who would have thought such lovely grain lay beneath all that varnish. Well done.
Sometimes your work is exciting, sometimes inspiring, and sometimes ASMR (usually depending upon my day😂) this piece is inspiring 😊

Terrific turn-around. Wow! And so rewarding to follow the process---to watch YOU do all the work, while I sit and relax. Beautiful "final results."

Creative restoration!
