How to enable the remote function. Blue scree Black remote. This worked on mine. Other combinations I cant speak for as I have only this setup.
Press Power and Right Arrow at same time, you will see OC1 on screen Press UP Arrow on remote.

"Press Power and Right Arrow at same time, you will see OC1 on screen Press UP Arrow on remote." This works, but man-o-man was this frustrating to figure out. Jeez-Louise, why does the User Manual have to so badly written/translated? Remember, you're pressing Power + Right arrow on the large, blue LCD controller, then OC1 shows up. Next, press the Up Arrow on the remote and various things will display, such as ambient temperature. I hope this helps someone else. Cheers!

I get the OC1, press up key in remote and nothing. Staying in waiting. Also have a red circle with a line in the bottom left of display on heater.
Hello, I have the new blue display, but the problem is that, the remote control doesn't turn on, it stay on "please wait for paring", and it doesn't do anything, can you let me know what happens or what I can do thank you
how i can reset a pre-paired remote control, for use in another display?, oc1,oc2,etc, not do nothing and the remote display "waiting"
Hi there I’ve followed your video. But don’t get any HFA when pressing the right arrow button. Can you help? It’s so frustrating. I can get to the OC1 screen but it doesn’t pair? Am I missing an instruction?

@@timdeep8707 Do it in this order, make sure nothing is lit on the remote display, has to be a black screen, press and hold power and right button on the heater display until OC1 appears, then press the up button on the remote and it should go from waiting to paired and be functional.

No, we tried on a few that came with the different style remote and it would not work
My remote is in Chinese only and my black controller won't show hfa

May be a stupid question but why would you want one controller over the other?
The digital ones literally shows you what the heater is doing…..fan speed, case temp, wether it’s on or off etc. I also know it has one hell of a range. Don’t know about the basic one.
Thus is true, it reaches the shed at the top of my garden to the kitchen in the house! Sometimes a bit iffy with the up and down buttons though, but the OK button, yes.
