Thanks for this video! Question, what does the power mode (Hz) do? Which power are we controlling by changing the frequency? Does it affect the temperature? Thanks!
thank you so much! helped me a lot. Mine instead of HZ has like H1 H2 H3m etc that controls the fan speed (not sure if also controls the pump interval)
it does not have a thermostat to measure heat and kick on or off at a certain temp so the temp setting is just a (poor) guess at what temp the room will be with the hertz at that setting. Just use the hz the temp setting is bogus
Mine is this model . I cant find alpine mode. Ive seen people press the top and bottom LH buttons long press to get it. I cant get it. Its not mentioned in my manual Any ideas?
Thanks for the vid. Just fitting one of these in my camper van and wondered if there is a way to put the display into sleep mode? Just concerned it may drain the leisure battery.
Hey, there isn't whilst the heater is on but when its not in use you can just unplug the controller or install a switch between the heater and controller
Very helpful video, so firstly thank you. I think my timer must be set, but didn't set it. I have only just installed the unit it's like yours in the video but I've had it for nearly 3 years. I never set the timer but I walked out to the van this morning and it was going but it wasn't warm, how do I turn it off the timer please mate, and why would it not be hot, does it need to be primed before start every time? Thank you
I have a controller with the exact same icons next to the buttons but the functions seem to be quite different, i.e to prime press OK for three seconds to turn fuel priming on and off.
My panel looks slightly different to this one. It’ll probably be the same controls though. These things are so good aren’t they! I’ve only just installed it so I’m hoping for some really cold weather now to really try it out properly.
We have watched this video several times. Our controller and heater is exactly the same. But we cannot get into the priming mode. Heater turns on and controller works for everything else, except priming. We cannot access HOF mode by doing what the video suggest. Any ideas?
You normally have to unplug the controller and plug it back in to make it go into priming mode. Is the controller 100% exactly the same? same screen icons etc?
Hi great video, do these functions also correspond to the five button control with blue perimeter, only visual difference being you have a setting symbol button and the blue one I'm asking of has a spanner? Cheers

When it’s reaches set temperature will the heater shut off or then come back on when the temperature drops? Or does the heater just keep running at a lower outlet rate?
no they don't do that they just turn down to the lowest power possible and keep going. So if you have a well insulated area it will just keep getting hotter and hotter. You can buy a controller that can do that for you it is called afterburner but it is expensive and comes from austrailia. I would ventilate the area or turn of manually when it gets hot.

great video, i just installed my heater and was having trouble with setting the controls... i will try again today... i think i was trying to prime the pump with the heater on... looks like you prime the pump and perform other settings in off mode... is this correct??
Yeah you need to prime it before you start it up to get the fuel lines to the heater. Once it reaches the heater you press the power button and it should start up :) You will need to unplug the controller and plug it back in though to make it enter the priming mode if you have already pressed the power button

Hi Barbara, does the air start to get hot at all or does it shut off before that? it could be shutting off when the glow plug kicks in if not and this could mean low voltage on the battery. It could also mean the fuel lines need priming or have been primed too much so it could be no fuel getting through or too much fuel has got through already.
