This husband claimed he "accidentally " shot his wife yet instead of acting remorseful and hurt for the supposed accident, he's rude and smug and fails epically at trying to go toe to toe with a attorney who is there on his wife's behalf. A man who accidentally shot and killed someone he loved would accept any punishment and not try to fight. I'm surprised he graduated high school seems to me he has early onset dementia.

He’s highly trained in gun safety, in the Army, an Armor & has more knowledge of guns & gun safety than most of the population. He also builds them himself. He came home after being gone 3 weeks & found a bottle of Fireball whiskey & found out that his wife’s ex-boyfriend brought it over to her, while he was away. He also saw that his “stuff” had been, as he described “gone through” & he assumed the ex-boyfriend did it. I can’t believe anyone on the planet could actually believe this highly trained soldier who is an Armor in the Army, has 14 guns in his apartment & also builds guns at home for fun, came home after being away 3 weeks & of all the things he could do, his first thought was to clean a gun (that I doubt NEEDED cleaning) after a jealous fueled argument with his wife because he suspects she cheated with her ex while he was gone & didn’t notice there was a bullet in the chamber & also didn’t have the safety on & just happened to “accidentally” shoot her dead center in the back of her head & then instead of helping her or even calling 911, he instead ran around the apartment, hid things & dumped out that bottle of Fireball whiskey (because he knew it was part of the motive for killing her) and while in the police cruiser at the scene never cried & never cried until he learned that he’s facing consequences for it & in the interrogation he repeatedly questioned “why ME?!” & “this isn’t supposed to happen to ME!” along with other selfish statements. I dove deep into this case, files, documents, interrogation etc & this guy 100% killed her in a fit of jealousy. He’s also been spoiled & babied by his Mom his entire life. I think that’s where a lot of his arrogance comes from & although his Mom sold everything she owns to try to get him out of these charges, including her home & now she’s going to move to whatever city he serves his ridiculously short sentence in, she needs to stop disabling him & let him grow up & finally deal with the consequences of his actions WITHOUT her there bailing him out every single time. I have a Daughter their age, in my opinion they got married way too young. I’d NEVER let my Daughter marry at only 17yrs old. These kids brains aren’t even fully equipped to handle adult life & adult situations, like jealousy & infidelity.

Yep, during his interrogation he seems like he was you know very sorry and that he loved his wife so much and that he was just so broken-hearted he couldn't believe he did it even though he didn't cry but in court yeah he's just sounding like can you refer to what page can you refer to what page I don't recall I don't recall I mean come on he is seeming smug and arrogant this isn't looking good for him so it's a shame cuz if it was an accident which I don't know the way he sounded like he loved his wife to death I mean I didn't mean it like that but you know what I mean it seemed like he was real happy and so happy to see her and come home but maybe something did happen and his rage that he came home with from being around a bunch of guys I don't know, maybe he did have an inkling that she was messing around or something and he had all this testosterone built up and just after I guess I don't know but I will say that in court when he pretended to cry you could tell there was no moist, (I know that's a bad word everybody hates) but there was no tear drops in his on his cheeks or any glassy eyes or anything like that it was all like just the whimper grunting type of like you're going to cry but you're not really crying. I know that was all like a big run-on sentence and I didn't put commas and periods and all of that but I'm sorry I'm just doing talk-to-text and so please forgive me and try to just follow along if you wanted to read my comment. Thank you if you did

This kid is pretty sharp. He stays pretty calm. I was thinking a lot about it and I had the thought that maybe he was mad but he meant to shoot the computer screen and ended up hitting her. I watched the video of him in the back of the patrol car and he was hysterical. With his experience of firearms it makes no sense. However, my husband handled guns from a young age and he accidentally shot a hole in the wall that went out the ceiling in the next room. My son-in-law did the same thing. It happens to the most experienced gun owner. But I still believe this kid meant to shoot. Just not his wife's head.
