"An Apology to Raging Bull"
**airtime thrills has re-entered the chat**
Lol
Raging bull is probably the best ride at Great America, I don’t think it deserves all of the hate that it gets. It definitely has one of the best drops on a B&M hyper.
It’s my favorite in the park. So underrated + overhated.
Goliath
@@maxelliott2460 they’re just so astronomically different. Love Goliath too don’t get me wrong. My #2 in the park easily
Back row on bull is amazing
RIDE IN THE VERY BACK! makes the front kiddy. Very different experience
I can already tell airtime thrills will be happy with this video
Makes sense
YES HE WILL! Actually one of the reasons I started watching airtime thrills was cause he liked raging bull when it felt like everyone else was hardcore hating on the poor bull! I CALL BULL ON THE HATERS OF RAGING BULL!
Unpopular opinion, Raging Bull is better than Diamondback
@@wiscothrills1409 dang I’m a huge advocate of raging bull, but I don’t think I could go that far.... diamondback is something truly special
@@DCflash-sl6oq to be fair, I haven't ridden diamondback since 2015, so I need to get back there and ride it again
Taylor: "I don't even know what sport the Chicago Bulls play"
Sarah (and Michael Jordan): "And I took that personally"
No offense but HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 I mean the Chicago Bulls literally had THE BEST PLAYER EVER in Michael Jordan. Add Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and the rest of that iconic team and you have the most unbelievably talented players ever assembled. I'm a Milwaukee Bucks fan and the Chicago Bulls used to destroy us every year. I know the "rivalry" between the two cities is supposed to mean that each side hates or dislikes the other. However as a fan of all of the sports, you have to see and respect a team like the Bulls. Besides having a "hatred" for an opponent or an opposing team is a little too over the top for me. Even the 1985 Chicago🧸🐻Bears🐻🧸, who Packers fans are supposed to despise, also deserve the respect for their accomplishments. Chicago has had some absolutely incredible teams. Since Wisconsin doesn't have an NHL Hockey team, only a "Minor League" team the Milwaukee Admirals, I started to really like the Chicago Blackhawks. Chris Chelios was one of the most iconic and talented defensive players in the NHL's history. I hope I remember this correctly, but another player Jeremy Roenick was another great player for the Blackhawks. I see the rivalry between Wisconsin teams and the Illinois teams not a rivalry of hatred, but a rivalry of respect and pride. The fans of Chicago teams are very similar to the fans of the Milwaukee and Green Bay teams. Extremely dedicated, loyal, rabid, intense, loud, and proud! Back to the original point, How can't a person not know who the Chicago Bulls are?
Never realized until I was older how lucky I was to have Great America as my home park! Also love seeing other people enjoy Goliath as much as I do. I also operated Goliath during the 2019 season :D
Yeah me too. Until I started traveling to other parks I didn’t realize how good great America is. The collection is really good.
It mine to
Yeah. Since I’ve always had “Not-so-Great” America as mine, I’ve learned to appreciate the handouts more than most people do.
I probably ran into you a few time that summer
@@ItsSiebay Rip, you got Six Flags America, that sucks, but every park has their little charm, maybe you can find yours in your park.
Chris from airtime thrills will be proud. He will enjoy to see more respect for such an underated hyper
It’s not underrated. I see TONS of praise for it
Yeah but it used to be underrated
True
underrated comment
@@lukez6203 it used to be underrated for a long time tbh
A night ride on Raging Bull is amazing
Taylor: We still haven’t done Goliath…
Sarah: 🙄
This is my hometown park (hello from Milwaukee), and I humbly accept your apology. About five years ago, I got really lucky on a chilly spring day where they were running Raging Bull with no trims. No trim on the third hill; no mid-course brake; brakeless until the end. I haven't gotten it since (even on cold days), but I still think about it. Trimless Raging Bull in the back row MIGHT be better than Fury 325.
Thank you so much for apologizing to Raging Bull. This is my home park and Raging Bull is an absolute must every time I go and one night I just spent marathoning Raging Bull in the back. It's awesome at night cause it's kinda hard to see the front of the train go down the drop when you're in the back so the insane ejector pop is even more unexpected. And hoots to the teams running that ride as it has no seat belts and the "let's get this train out in 30 seconds" saying that really speeds up operations.
“This isn’t Superman ultimate flight”
Taylor sounded like a mayor saying that for some reason
Top tip if you want the best airtime on Raging Bull: don’t pull down your lap bar
True you get the 20 second free fall to your death
@Spike S nah: some have OTSRs 🥳
@Spike S I don’t think you get the joke mate
Sarah's fun loving attitude is a great balance to Taylor's critical takes. I'm loving the combo.
I still remember getting a back row on Goliath with you in 2019. You likely don't remember but it was a great experience for me and thank you for the memory :)
Just found ur channel today, u got a new subscriber man ur making great content keep it up 👍🏻
6:44 that guy was saying "goodbye" like they were about to go into hell 😂😂😂
I think a lot of fans were waiting for this.
I love how such cool and down to earth people in the coaster community are.
Goliath is 100 percent a front row ride. Although the first drop is great in the back, it's still decent in he front. However, the front is more well rounded. More hangtime, the airtime in the front is better on the smaller hills, and it just feels more intense.
The speed and pacing in the front is unmatched and the airtime is stronger. Totally agree there.
Back row on Goliath is still INSANE
Raging Bull has huge variation based on how aggressive the trim brakes are on that given day/season.
I haven’t been on viper in a few years but last time I went on it I remember practically standing up from the airtime
Bull has been my #1 for 20 years. So well balanced, pure fun!
Chicago native here, so glad you’ve seen the light
“It’s an RMC so automatically I like it.”
If RMC built a boomerang it would be Sarah’s favourite coaster
I feel so validated in my love for raging bull. It’s my number 4 behind Velocicoaster, Maverick, and Steel Vengeance.
This is the park I grew up at. This is the park I've always considered home. Lot of love here. Raging bull back row drop is still one of the best drops I've been on.
Glad to hear you liked Raging Bull! Out of interest, does this experience warrant a Raging Bull re-review?
I hope so
Finally giving Raging Bull the respect it deserves
I guess I have to go back to SFGA, everybody keeps saying Raging Bull is better...
Maxx force is best in the park imo
@@1tsmyst1c21 not even close imo
@@1tsmyst1c21 it’s too short tbh
@@1tsmyst1c21 As a SFGAM regular, Maxx is only my #5 at the park.
@@jackportenier2441
My rankings are
1. Raging Bull
2. Iron Wolf (closed 2011)
3. Goliath
4. Shockwave (closed 2002)
5. Max Force
My home park. ♥️ We get season passes every year. Raging Bull is my favorite ride there with Goliath being a close 2nd due to length.
I am elated to say that I was able to ride Goliath with you guys two times in a row back seat. It was a highlight meeting you both Taylor and Sarah! This was my first big theme park trip for this year and I was able to randomly ride a great RMC coaster. I will remember it forever the experience. It was so funny hearing your voice before I recognized it was you LOL. You guys were great together and I love your content keep it up. Hopefully we run into each other again at another Park. My next stop is Silver Dollar City in two weeks
Compared to the last time I rode it before covid back in 2019, this summer the ride feels like it flys through the layout and the brakes aren't nearly as effective as they've been in the past. Truly one of the most underrated coasters out there.
All of a sudden everyone on r/rollercoasters will start saying that Raging Bull is great…
XD
"How to Talk About Roller Coasters You Haven't Ridden"
WGN.... Iconic. One of the best local news stations in the country!
Raging Bull has always been a fave! SFGA IS my home park but I haven't been in a while since I moved away T_T. Whizzer is also such a great ride and my fave to end the day with. Sarah made a great point though, Raging Bull SHOULD have been themed to the Bulls (but then we lose that gorgeous orange/purple color scheme!). X-Flight is my all time fave though, such a gorgeous work of art and a great layout to boot :) I also love Goliath... short but sweet with some sick elements :) Glad y'all had fun!!
Thanks for the love about Raging Bull! I also think that it is underrated. The Whizzer was my first credit as a little boy so this park holds a special place to me!
Awe man. My favorite six flags park. And my home park.
Just rode Raging Bull again today for the first time in years and it was a lot of fun. Great night ride.
I love Raging Bull. It’s the most unique B&M hyper I’ve ridden.
This is my home park.. Valley fair was my original Homepark.. getting all the feels from your channel lately. Glad my kids get to enjoy it. The Water Coaster is worth doing only once.
I AM SO AMPED FOR THE VALLEY FAIR VLOG. SHAKING IN MY SEAT!! Seriously though every one of these midwest park vids just makes me want it now lol
Raging Bull is actually my first hyper coaster. Went to SFGAmerica the year Raging Bull opened. Out of the 8 hypers I have ridden, it's still in my top 5.
I'm glad you re-ride on Raging Bull at Six Flags Great America! It was a fun coaster!
I visited earlier this year (May) and like you guys most of my time was spent waiting in lines😅 Maxx Force ran 1 train on a Saturday... I agree Raging Bull's drop in the back is bonkers. Great vlog!
Finally you realize that Raging Bull isn't the worst B&M Hyper
I grew up going to great America, as I lived 15 minutes away. By far the best summer camp as a kid. I’ve since moved away and don’t get season passes anymore, but I can’t wait to go back. The last new ride I went on was Goliath and I’d agree it’s the best in the park :)
YOU DON'T KNOW WHO THE CHICAGO BULLS ARE?!? 😭I'm dead 💀but thank you for the apology regarding Raging Bull lol 😁The first drop is mad underrated!
The way you guys talk about Whizzer is how I feel about The Beast
I’ll still never forget the time you came up to me and said thrasher was your favorite band at kings dominion
this is my home park and i thank you for giving raging bull the credit it deserves. the back is 100% the best.
I love living near Gurnee. Couple years ago, it was my sister’s first time going on raging Bull. Her first major roller coaster. It was near opening hours (I don’t remember the time) and raging Bull was the first one we went after. She absolutely LOVED the drop and it definitely woke her up 😂
Wicked Twister used to have the same issue as V2 in its opening year. Both spikes used to sway like crazy after the train would drop down the spikes. Then in 2003, they added additional supports.
Been waiting for this video Mr. !
raging bull is one of the public’s top 3, though i still feel it’s pretty underrated. this coaster can be really intense and i love the layout of it
yep he does have to apologize. It’s a great ride
You guys are lucky you got on Goliath. I was at Cedar Point and we ran as fast as we could to get to steel vengeance before closing time. As soon as we got there, they cut the line right in front of us. We begged them but they wouldn't budge. 😭
The best time to go to this park is on a weekday when it’s supposed to rain. Weather will decide if it’s crowded or not.
Raging bull is my number 4 roller coaster ever behind Goliath at sixflags over Georgia and I gets too much hate!!!!
It has a great layout and very sustain airtime
Amazing ride
6:43
for the launch enjoy your ride!
B Y E
the way he said bye LOL
Taylor, I waited 4 years for this apology and I accept it. It's a great B&M Hyper. Before visiting SFGAm in 2019 I looked at vlogs and reviews and based on your review from 2017 I didn't expect much from it and you were so wrong back then. I know DC Rivals is one of your bucket list coasters and all I can say is I actually prefer Raging Bull over it. They're quite comparable both being Twister Hypers, but the B&M clamshell restraints are what seals the deal for me. I only had about 14 rides on Raging Bull over 2 days on my visit, but DC Rivals about 40 so far, so I feel confident in my opinion. Not discrediting what a great ride DC Rivals is, but just giving Raging Bull some mad props for being so good and in my opinion underappreciated.
Word of advice for viper. Ride it right when the park opens. Viper has a fast lift where it won't hesitate at the top
I feel like I’m following you Taylor I went to Michigan’s Adventure a day after you uploaded. And now you upload this park and I’m heading there tonight! Also I met you years back at Dollywood!
And it’s even funnier that you never go to MI Adventure 😂 I don’t blame you I’m just a MI resident. Aye maybe one time I might actually run into you again 😂
Max force is best in the front row
I want to hear on a rainy night during a hollow scream and there were no lines and it was really dark outside,it was amazing I couldn’t even see the Goliath nor what raging bowl looked like and we were racing through the track it was amazing and I genuinely love this park a lot we came back during the day and it was way more packed but yeah I love this park
9:58 omg no way, it's that guy that always tells people the coaster you're on is superman or x-flight lol, it's cool to see that he's still working there
Raging Bull is my favorite B&M Hyper, although tbf, the only other one I've ridden was Apollo's Chariot.
I LOVE the name of Clone Zone because it’s so true and clever! I call this side of the park that all the time
I realize this vlog was from last month, but it’s just funny that you made that comment alluding to Gatekeeper being down and released the video on the exact day it reopened. I just rode it earlier. 😂
YESSSS FINALLY THIS VIDEO EXISTS
fun fact: I was on apple Zapple at kings dominion and a car was going up the lift hill and i got the cleanest shot of it’s wheels very cool
This is my homepark and it's really crowded there now all the time now. I have a diamond membership and just to get my skip the line takes about 30 mins minimum on a weekday! Forget about going there on the weekends. This park needs a serious competition near by. The market here could easily handle another major theme park.
Marcus was a big shock to see. A good shock too
The Little Dipper is one of the first Coasters I ever rode back at Kiddieland in the early 80s
I LOVE RB!!!! Best hyper twister, period!!
Ridden it twice. Its top notch!
That 1st drop is insane
❤️❤️❤️ great vlog
I went to this park, for the first time on a Tuesday, and there was a line like this 🤣🤣 we did really enjoy the park for three days😳
raging bull was my favorite at great america and i raved about it in my own park review 😍🤘
One of the park workers told me that Vortex was closing because of a sinkhole
Just went to Great America for the first time last month. Goliath was my favorite. Got 3 rides. 2 in the front row and 1 in the back. Raging Bull was good but I still prefer Diamondback. Whizzer was a fun family coaster. Glad I got to ride American Eagle before it gets closed down. Overall a good lineup of coasters.
What do you mean before it gets closed down😳
2:54 Thank you for this 😂 - A Chicagoan
This park was a lot of my first (hyper, wing, RMC, invert, inversion, etc.)
AND I LIVE 12 HOURS AWAY!!! Lol 😆
I need to go back and ride Maxx Force!
Batman still hits so hard.
That "The Voyage" shirt is dope.
I’ve been to three six flags parks. Great America, Great Adventure, and Magic Mountain. This is actually my favorite no joke it’s just nicer
Haven't been here yet, but I hope to go within the next 5 years. I normally only go to two new parks a year
My old hometown park!! 😄❤ I love Viper; I actually rode it backwards once! Raging Bull is another favorite of mine, and Whizzer. 😁 P.S. Tyler, the Chicago Bulls is basketball 🏀!
I've always said Kumba, the Batman clones, and Raging Bull are the epitome of old-school, "actively trying to kill you" B&M
Raging bull is everyone's favorite at the park, that and the Giant Drop.
To not get in long lines go on a date it’s supposed to rain but sometimes the storms miss in lines are empty or sometimes it it rains for like 5 minutes
See, I've been telling people this ride isn't like what they remember. Those trims don't do much these days. Love Raging Bull!
The holding brake on V2 was a nutcracker lol
This is my home park!!!! Raging bull is my favorite coaster
SFGAm is awesome and my home Park as well!!!
Raging Bull is my favorite coaster at the park, and the front seat is my favorite on that coaster.
Also, one last thing, Viper is not a mirror image clone of the Coney Island Cyclone. It is an original. The Cyclone doesn't have the double down that Viper has.
Clone
that's so cool~~!
I like this video😊👍❤️
I just went yesterday it was great!
I would never thought I’d see this
Top 5:
1.Maxx force
2.Goliath
3.Raging bull
4.X flight
5.Vertical velocity
