Raging bull is probably the best ride at Great America, I don’t think it deserves all of the hate that it gets. It definitely has one of the best drops on a B&M hyper.
Never realized until I was older how lucky I was to have Great America as my home park! Also love seeing other people enjoy Goliath as much as I do. I also operated Goliath during the 2019 season :D
YES HE WILL! Actually one of the reasons I started watching airtime thrills was cause he liked raging bull when it felt like everyone else was hardcore hating on the poor bull! I CALL BULL ON THE HATERS OF RAGING BULL!
No offense but HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 I mean the Chicago Bulls literally had THE BEST PLAYER EVER in Michael Jordan. Add Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and the rest of that iconic team and you have the most unbelievably talented players ever assembled. I'm a Milwaukee Bucks fan and the Chicago Bulls used to destroy us every year. I know the "rivalry" between the two cities is supposed to mean that each side hates or dislikes the other. However as a fan of all of the sports, you have to see and respect a team like the Bulls. Besides having a "hatred" for an opponent or an opposing team is a little too over the top for me. Even the 1985 Chicago🧸🐻Bears🐻🧸, who Packers fans are supposed to despise, also deserve the respect for their accomplishments. Chicago has had some absolutely incredible teams. Since Wisconsin doesn't have an NHL Hockey team, only a "Minor League" team the Milwaukee Admirals, I started to really like the Chicago Blackhawks. Chris Chelios was one of the most iconic and talented defensive players in the NHL's history. I hope I remember this correctly, but another player Jeremy Roenick was another great player for the Blackhawks. I see the rivalry between Wisconsin teams and the Illinois teams not a rivalry of hatred, but a rivalry of respect and pride. The fans of Chicago teams are very similar to the fans of the Milwaukee and Green Bay teams. Extremely dedicated, loyal, rabid, intense, loud, and proud! Back to the original point, How can't a person not know who the Chicago Bulls are?
This is my hometown park (hello from Milwaukee), and I humbly accept your apology. About five years ago, I got really lucky on a chilly spring day where they were running Raging Bull with no trims. No trim on the third hill; no mid-course brake; brakeless until the end. I haven't gotten it since (even on cold days), but I still think about it. Trimless Raging Bull in the back row MIGHT be better than Fury 325.
Thank you so much for apologizing to Raging Bull. This is my home park and Raging Bull is an absolute must every time I go and one night I just spent marathoning Raging Bull in the back. It's awesome at night cause it's kinda hard to see the front of the train go down the drop when you're in the back so the insane ejector pop is even more unexpected. And hoots to the teams running that ride as it has no seat belts and the "let's get this train out in 30 seconds" saying that really speeds up operations.
I still remember getting a back row on Goliath with you in 2019. You likely don't remember but it was a great experience for me and thank you for the memory :)
Goliath is 100 percent a front row ride. Although the first drop is great in the back, it's still decent in he front. However, the front is more well rounded. More hangtime, the airtime in the front is better on the smaller hills, and it just feels more intense.
This is the park I grew up at. This is the park I've always considered home. Lot of love here. Raging bull back row drop is still one of the best drops I've been on.
Raging Bull is actually my first hyper coaster. Went to SFGAmerica the year Raging Bull opened. Out of the 8 hypers I have ridden, it's still in my top 5.
Compared to the last time I rode it before covid back in 2019, this summer the ride feels like it flys through the layout and the brakes aren't nearly as effective as they've been in the past. Truly one of the most underrated coasters out there.
Thanks for the love about Raging Bull! I also think that it is underrated. The Whizzer was my first credit as a little boy so this park holds a special place to me!
Taylor, I waited 4 years for this apology and I accept it. It's a great B&M Hyper. Before visiting SFGAm in 2019 I looked at vlogs and reviews and based on your review from 2017 I didn't expect much from it and you were so wrong back then. I know DC Rivals is one of your bucket list coasters and all I can say is I actually prefer Raging Bull over it. They're quite comparable both being Twister Hypers, but the B&M clamshell restraints are what seals the deal for me. I only had about 14 rides on Raging Bull over 2 days on my visit, but DC Rivals about 40 so far, so I feel confident in my opinion. Not discrediting what a great ride DC Rivals is, but just giving Raging Bull some mad props for being so good and in my opinion underappreciated.
Raging Bull has always been a fave! SFGA IS my home park but I haven't been in a while since I moved away T_T. Whizzer is also such a great ride and my fave to end the day with. Sarah made a great point though, Raging Bull SHOULD have been themed to the Bulls (but then we lose that gorgeous orange/purple color scheme!). X-Flight is my all time fave though, such a gorgeous work of art and a great layout to boot :) I also love Goliath... short but sweet with some sick elements :) Glad y'all had fun!!
I am elated to say that I was able to ride Goliath with you guys two times in a row back seat. It was a highlight meeting you both Taylor and Sarah! This was my first big theme park trip for this year and I was able to randomly ride a great RMC coaster. I will remember it forever the experience. It was so funny hearing your voice before I recognized it was you LOL. You guys were great together and I love your content keep it up. Hopefully we run into each other again at another Park. My next stop is Silver Dollar City in two weeks
This is my home park.. Valley fair was my original Homepark.. getting all the feels from your channel lately. Glad my kids get to enjoy it. The Water Coaster is worth doing only once.
This year, teal train FLIES thru the mcbr. Great America has an overall, extremely good ride collection and the operations are on par with many good CF parks,
Wicked Twister used to have the same issue as V2 in its opening year. Both spikes used to sway like crazy after the train would drop down the spikes. Then in 2003, they added additional supports.
I grew up going to great America, as I lived 15 minutes away. By far the best summer camp as a kid. I’ve since moved away and don’t get season passes anymore, but I can’t wait to go back. The last new ride I went on was Goliath and I’d agree it’s the best in the park :)
This is my homepark and it's really crowded there now all the time now. I have a diamond membership and just to get my skip the line takes about 30 mins minimum on a weekday! Forget about going there on the weekends. This park needs a serious competition near by. The market here could easily handle another major theme park.
You guys are lucky you got on Goliath. I was at Cedar Point and we ran as fast as we could to get to steel vengeance before closing time. As soon as we got there, they cut the line right in front of us. We begged them but they wouldn't budge. 😭
I love living near Gurnee. Couple years ago, it was my sister’s first time going on raging Bull. Her first major roller coaster. It was near opening hours (I don’t remember the time) and raging Bull was the first one we went after. She absolutely LOVED the drop and it definitely woke her up 😂
Raging bull is my number 4 roller coaster ever behind Goliath at sixflags over Georgia and I gets too much hate!!!! It has a great layout and very sustain airtime Amazing ride

Raging Bull is a movie about Am boxer Jake LaMotta starring Robert De Niro and directed by Martin Scorsese. It's a brutal story about a brutal sport. The name of the coaster fits it well.
I want to hear on a rainy night during a hollow scream and there were no lines and it was really dark outside,it was amazing I couldn’t even see the Goliath nor what raging bowl looked like and we were racing through the track it was amazing and I genuinely love this park a lot we came back during the day and it was way more packed but yeah I love this park
I visited earlier this year (May) and like you guys most of my time was spent waiting in lines😅 Maxx Force ran 1 train on a Saturday... I agree Raging Bull's drop in the back is bonkers. Great vlog!
ive only been on two b&m hypers, mako and raging bull, and i gotta say, raging bull is better. it definitely doesn’t give as much airtime as mako, but the first drop is easily better, the ride last way longer, a lot smoother, fun quick turns, and just overall a better ride.
Great America is my home park, been going there since the late 80's. Just to let you know, Batman is not a clone, it is original, the other Batman rides are clones. I try and ride it at least once every time I go because it was the first roller-coaster I rode when i was able to.
I feel like I’m following you Taylor I went to Michigan’s Adventure a day after you uploaded. And now you upload this park and I’m heading there tonight! Also I met you years back at Dollywood!
And it’s even funnier that you never go to MI Adventure 😂 I don’t blame you I’m just a MI resident. Aye maybe one time I might actually run into you again 😂
Raging bull > Goliath. I love both of these rides and originally and i liked Goliath more but Raging Bull has a really nice long layout with many airtime hills where Goliath has a shorter layout and even though the zero g stall is really cool, nothing else really stands out that much about it and most of it just feels like filler. That’s why now if i had to pick between the two my answer would be raging bull and if you disagree I would really recommend re-riding both of them. Raging Bull has much more re-rideablility where Goliath is great the first time and still good the next time but slowly you realize how bland everything else is other then the drop on Goliath. If I had to rank my top 3 at the park i’d say 1. Raging Bull 2. Goliath 3. Superman
I also might prefer the front on Goliath, I know I don't get scared of rides as an enthusiast but there is something about just sitting up front and looking over at how steep thst drop is. Did you kinda get that scary feeling but it's like holy crap this will be amazing?
They only run maxx force with one train now. According to the park they get faster operations that way. I really don’t understand how that’s possible but apparently it is
Just went to Great America for the first time last month. Goliath was my favorite. Got 3 rides. 2 in the front row and 1 in the back. Raging Bull was good but I still prefer Diamondback. Whizzer was a fun family coaster. Glad I got to ride American Eagle before it gets closed down. Overall a good lineup of coasters.
To not get in long lines go on a date it’s supposed to rain but sometimes the storms miss in lines are empty or sometimes it it rains for like 5 minutes
My old hometown park!! 😄❤ I love Viper; I actually rode it backwards once! Raging Bull is another favorite of mine, and Whizzer. 😁 P.S. Tyler, the Chicago Bulls is basketball 🏀!
