Six Flags Great America Review Gurnee, Illinois - The Best Six Flags Park
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 5 авг 2022
- Six Flags Great America is the most underrated Six Flags park and even the best Six Flags parks. In my opinion, it even beat Six Flags Magic Mountain and Six Flags Great Adventure. With excellent roller coasters such as Raging Bull, Goliath, Maxx Force, X-Flight, Superman Ultimate Flight, Batman the Ride, Viper, American Eagle, The Joker, Demon, The Dark Knight Coaster, The Flash Vertical Velocity, The Whizzer, Sprocket Rockets, and Little Dipper, there is a fantastic roller coaster lineup overall. What makes it the best Six Flags park in my eyes? How can you have a great time. Here are plenty of travel tips and a full 2022 park review of Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois.

I LIKE Six Flags Great America 90S INTO 2003
More and more people are leaning towards SFGA as the best park in the chain these days. Its nice to see it getting the love it has long deserved. Best diverse coaster lineup for sure. No true standout but great none the less.
It definitely deserves a lot of respect based on my experience.
imo, its one most well rounded parks
@@ThemeParkAvenue even new rumors pointing towards 3 different coasters over the next 5-6 years... not all will happen but now they are rumoring a intimin Giga... along the backside of the park starting around the whitewater ride... Do you think they would do a 25-30 million dollar investment by waiting a few years for something new and saving a bit of cash capital for it? I hope so!
@@nathanmcmenamin3748 this is my home park and I have no clue where they could even fit a giga, unless there gonna tear down American eagle (which they should anyway) but where can they put a ride this big?
@@UnknownRaven0 From what i read they would put the station in between dark knight and rapids somewhere... and it would run along the backside adjacent to the train out to goliath and back... check google earth it actually would fit nicely. Not have a 300 foot lift hill but a tunnel down to get giga status. Its exiting to think about for sure.
The front entrance does look really nice i especially like the double deck carousel
Whenever someone says"terrain" in this part of Illinois, I laugh, because there is none! Illinois being the second flattest state and all.
That's fair. It's how they construct certain rides that makes it seem otherwise. Also, I am in Florida so Illinois doesn't seem so flat comparitively.
@@ThemeParkAvenue Florida is the flattest state, according to a study from a professor in Kansas, who was curious about the topic.
I will say that if you want terrain in Illinois, the extreme south is almost mountainous.
@@jimgoebel5348 That and Starved Rock. Also the upper left corner has some hilly spots too
Coming from Illinois I will say this is true all you will find are hills and flat land
This is my home park.
The history here alone makes it the best.
It was where B&M was born when Iron Wolf debuted
The Original Batman the Ride was built here, and it celebrated it's 30th birthday here. It gave birth to the inverted coaster
Batman honestly does feel like a piece of history and it is an awesome ride.
My home park too.. I loved Iron Wolf! Was sad when they removed it. But Goliath is a great replacement.
I've never seen Raging Bull run only one train, even on slow weekdays. That is surprising. I agree that the single rider line is a huge help. I have not been very impressed with The Dark Knight coaster, and never bother with it unless it has less than a 10 minute wait, but I'm glad to hear that they have all the effects running the season.
I was u lucky with Raging Bull but it worked out and I love it.
dark knight is a good one for when you need a break from the heat as the queue is all indoors and usually air conditioned but it's definitely not a must do for me either
Raging Bull has been off this season - we’ve gotten third train typically around mid to late June, but this year we still haven’t gotten it
The eagle stopped racing about 3 years ago due to it being really old. Then they would just use the blue and red track at separate times, but about a year after they stopped racing they stopped using the red track, so the safest option was just to use the blue train. So they just use the blue train now since it's it's old.
Makes sense. Thanks for the information.
@@ThemeParkAvenue No problem 😊
To slightly add to this;
Funnily enough, the main reason Eagle stopped dueling was the helix halfway through and it’s profiling.
It also is the main reason why we can’t fox the ride due to it being so close to the highway
@@Galarticuno ohh I didn't know that, thanks for the info! 😁
The trimless Dark Knight Coaster is almost an elite level coaster. It has some of the most insane and extreme ejector airtime. I’m talking storm chaser levels of intensity, plus it’s in the dark. That was the biggest surprise for me on my trip so far. We were there yesterday and today.
It is quite awesome but I guess it didn’t hit quite that hard for me.
Dark night? That’s a glorified fun house, biggest waste of time in my opinion
First of all, a completely trimless ride on Dark Knight would be borderline dangerous, so I highly doubt you got a trimless ride on this.
And to address Red Redevil: Dark Knight is actually one of the better wild mouse coasters out there. Between the low levels of braking that you experience compared to other rides in the same style, this ride is definitely approaching ELITE. Plus, you add in the theming which is MANY steps up from what a typical Six Flags coaster offers and the fact that it always has an empty single riders line, and this coaster is like a breath of fresh air on those days when the park gets slammed with guests.
@@stonerthoosie yeah. It is not entirely trimless, but the brakes don’t kick in at all until you have passes through all of the first switchbacks. I felt some braking after the first wide turn and straight track, and a tiny bit right before the turn into the double airtime hills. The first time I rode I was completely unprepared for the insane amount of airtime.
For me, it's currently my second favorite Six Flags park behind Six Flags Magic Mountain in California. It was a tough call at first and I actually preferred this over Magic Mountain at first, but that was before Great America started to charge for admission to Hurricane Harbor and then make it a separately gated property. Despite all that, this is still one of my top 10 parks and I can easily say it has one of the most underrated ride lineups in the country.
I can’t blame you for that take on the admission fees. I’m much more focused on the dry parks so it doesn’t bother me much, but that’s a good point.
They spent 25 mill on raging bull in 1999. Continued to build new coasters, but 2 train operation/more compact while they also built up their waterpark. I think if the park saved for a few years for another major investment like raging bull, this time a giga, and rounded out their coaster lineup w a single rail (only top tier six flags without one), then the park would he perfect. They still have so much room to work with. Not physically but in terms of creating better park experiences for guests. American Eagle could use some love to make it more appealing to guests, and demon could one day be replaced by another family thrill coaster from mack or vekoma. Bring back sky trek tower! Or give us a sky screamer as well. God bless.
I’d love to see a skyscreamer at the park.
Idk Demon is still a decent ride and shouldn't be replaced for a while. It's one of the best Arrow Corkscrews in my opinion
I was just there Friday an they had both trains running. On all the rides they had 2 trains. Which cut the wait time drastically. Waited about 30-45 minutes max on all the coasters. Thats including waiting for the front seats. Was great honestly.
Let’s go!! Love the content! Much love from Chicago!
Thanks! I’m glad you can enjoy this place as your home park.
Great review! It's good to see you over 4.25 subs already!
Very nicely put together video and very entertaining as well. Thanks for posting this.
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
On the giant drop, if you sit opposite of the park and you have a clear, no cloud day, yo u can see the whole city of Chicago. It's actually quite remarkable
That sounds awesome. It was cloudy when I went.
Didn’t expect the shoutout to the staff, worked here for four years and I very much appreciate any thanks at this point
Bull has been weird to operate this season with its lack of red train
Goliath I’ve noticed is running much smoother this year
American Eagle’s biggest problem is literally the helix, being what causes it not to be able to duel and it being close to the highway unable to work on it
Our DC area is weird as it’s “new” this year meaning that three rides were renamed. And we had three other DC rides elsewhere.
I miss when American Eagle used to run backward :(
The non-racing on American eagle is permanent, they changed that in 2016 I believe, they said it was unsafe to run both side at the same time
Makes sense.
Yeah. It's disappointing that it doesn't race any more and that the superior Red track was closed. I really think the ride needs a RMC or Titan Track revamp to make it a bigger version of "Twisted Colossus". I get that SFGAM has "Goliath", but that ride is more about inversions and speed than airtime. A 200+ ff RMC "American Eagle" could easily be one of the best coasters in the world.
That sucks to hear that!! I loved the racing aspect of eagle! And the red track side was the more fun side too, more air time and little ups and downs.
They should demolish the whole structure and rebuild it with modern improvements to the layout. It’s too iconic to replace altogether. Also, the ride was built by Intamin; imagine what they could do to the pacing after crushing it with El Toro.
Honestly if it doesn't race, then it's kind of pointless. I agree about an Intamin revamp. Something, anything would be better than what's there now.
I do want to help also with your single rider statement, unless the normal line is more than an hour for max force, do not use single rider, it's alot slower sometimes then the normal line, goliath single rider is always good do that always, and joker is also a good single rider line to go in
Joker’s wasn’t great for me and I’m not even sure if it saved time when I used it.
I second this. On my 3-day trip last week, I got five rides on Maxx Force. Two were when I was waiting in line for them to open the ride when the park opened and most of them, I was able to get in pretty quick from single rider but on my last ride, it was normally a 45 minute wait according to the app and single rider was wrapped around past that three-line divider part near the station and they would take FOREVER to let single riders on. A group of ladies in front of me were waiting for a long time and 3 of the 4 decided to go back to the beginning of the REGULAR line and they actually got through before the one in the single rider line did. It was ridiculous. I don't know what happened. It felt like every 5 or more trains they would let a single rider on. I remember talking about it in my vlog. Ridiculous.
SFGA is one of our favorite places to visit. It's not too far from us so we try to go at least once a month during the season. If you've never been to Fright Fest, I highly recommend checking it out. They put a lot behind it and it makes a great time. I made a short video with some highlights from this years Fright Fest. Awesome channel by the way!
Thanks! Great America is a wonderful park. I might pass on Fright Fest because I scare easily though.
Nice video! I passed Six flags great America once while on a trip! It looked amazing and wish I could've gone but I was busy at the time and couldn't
Great America was MY park growing up. I first visited the park in '88/'89 and Tidal Wave or Demon were my first rollercoasters with inversions I ever rode when I was around 8 years old. Shock Wave quickly became a favorite of mine until it was replaced by Viper (as my favorite) in the mid-90s. I kind of stopped going in the early 2000s due to college and my last visit was 2005 when I went as a last hurrah with my family as my Sister was moving out of the States and I had already been out of state for three years. Good times, this video brings back many memories and it is good to see the park holding up after so many years!
Edited for clarity.
That’s awesome to hear. It is a great park and I live reliving my experience.
Shockwave was replaced with Superman. Viper was built by Raging Bull.
That said, I was one of the few that really enjoyed Shockwave! I know lots of people didn't like how rough it was.
Great review.
Thank you
I heard you mention Superman at the end but maybe I missed you actually riding it. I did single rider line on Goliath last week and literally got on within 2 minutes so I agree with that and thankfully my friend suggested it!
I did ride Superman and I believe I told a funny story about it.
@@ThemeParkAvenue i swore I paid full attention but maybe not 😂 glad you enjoyed your visit!!
@@janineeee6834 it was wonderful
If you end up going again I would strongly recommend riding Raging Bull in the back row. The airtime is insane on the first drop and it is the only ride I have seen with the back row sometimes having a longer line than the front!
That is the row I rode Raging Bull in the most and you are correct. It is awesome in the front.
I had a rollback on max force the first year it was open! It was cool because they don't try and launch u again they just evac you.
Wow!
the thing about the roller coaster collection at Great America is that none of the roller coasters there are the best of their kind but so many of them are good and you have so many different kinds of roller coasters that it's extremely enjoyable simply because of the variety.
Six Flags Great America was my "home" park. I lived about an hour north in Wisconsin. My first time back, waaay back when it was still called Marriott's Great America. Throughout the 80's and 90's I used to come here between 5 and 35 times a year. The latter being when a friend of mine worked there and got us in. The Power Dive, Shock Wave, Z-Force, 🐺 Iron🐺Wolf🐺, Splash Water Falls, a Bobsledding ride that I can't remember exactly what it was called, and many others. It was always a great place to go. I remember the first "Fright-Fest". It was so incredibly well done. The people were all amazing. The ride operators were always cool and fun, and I always enjoyed every minute there. I used to get on the Batman ride at 9:45pm. Usually a 1-3 hour wait. Even in line it was fun. My health has deteriorated quite a bit over the last decade plus. I haven't been back in 20+ years. I MISS IT! I'd need a wheelchair now, and I can't imagine how people would react towards me now. Six Flags Great America was my all-time favorite theme-park ever! It deserves every bit of love and praise it gets! 🙏 Kudos to them for being the best!😊
Great review. I really enjoyed this park and was surprised at the quality of alot of the coasters. By the way the video of that coaster we reviewed is out on my channel now if you want to share with your channel! Thank you once again for joining me
Thanks! I saw the collab and it went great.
Viper is a great coaster to start your Great America experience with. I almost feel like it was a Divine appointment for you to miss out on Maxx Force and Whizzer at the beginning so that you could ride that one first. Very fun ride experience.
You may be right. Thanks for the comment.
Going to hopefully get here next year for my first time
I hope you love it
When I was a kid I used to split my summmers from my dad’s family in San Antonio and my mom’s family in Chicago. So I got to go to Fiesta Texas and Great America a lot as a kid.
Both awesome parks
Great video! I am just curious when you said there weren't many flat rides, how many do you think would be better? Because I count about a dozen flat rides in the park. It might vary by a few depending on how you count, but seems like a pretty good number.
Thanks! I suppose I could have been more specific and said that I would like more of the standout flat rides that I am more willing to wait in line for. The spinner and scrambler rides do count as flat rides technically, but I think two large flat rides like a pendulum ride or a booster flat ride would make the thrill ride lineup better.
@@ThemeParkAvenue Makes sense! We had a great intense ride on Revolution last week (my first time on it). I wish they still had the Cajun Cliffhanger which dropped the floor out from under you. That ride was sick!
Love to see my home park getting so much love 🥰
It's a wonderful place and deserves lots of love.
The American Eagle is no longer racing because of the age of the coaster. The stopped racing the trains about 2-3 years ago. And because of the age and COVID they do not plan to rehab the coaster which is very sad.
It's unfortunate but I'm grateful that I even got to ride that awesome coaster.
The single rider line depends entirely on the operator, and I mean entirely.
Guess I got lucky on Goliath and Maxx Force then.
Yeah, I was in the Maxx Force single rider line and the op would only pair a single rider with groups of an odd number of people. Many times, there'd be one row left to fill for a train, and the op would go down the normal line looking for a group of 2 because groups of 3+ wouldn't fit. Went through a lot of effort to avoid doing the easy thing where he could've just told the first two in the single rider line go take those seats. The single rider line moved so slowly that I don't know if it even saved me any time.
I really enjoyed this park too! I think whizzer was my favorite
Nice! Whizzer is fun.
Happy you enjoyed my home park. DC area is newly named and it does make it odd with batman and Superman on the outside. Also Eagle hasn't ran races in years for structural reasons.
It's the best time going here especially in fall with freight fest and the cool weather
When I went the batman team was super fast like you said
They are awesome
I'm very glad its my home park. I just hope they retrack Eagle, and add supports so it can duel again
I kind of wish it was my home park.
Your videos make me seriously grateful that Great America is my home park. I gotta say though- it's surprising that you like Superman more than Raging Bull! Superman's seating mechanic is cool, but the ride tops at 55 mph and has one dip (where it faces you toward the sky) that's so forceful it hurts. I'll have to go on it again to get a new perspective.
Also, it wasn't always weird that Superman and Dark Knight were in Mardi Gras. DC Universe is a recent retheme that got Yankee Clipper (now Aquaman Splashdown) running again and gave Vertical Velocity and new name and paint job.
It’s a great park and I’m happy you have it as your home park. One thing I must say is that I actually prefer Raging Bull to Superman, I was only suggesting to ride Superman first because it gets a longer line based on what I’ve seen.
@@ThemeParkAvenue Oh man, you got that right. Superman is insanely popular. Sorry about that misunderstanding!
Raging Bull definitely does look like Titan at Six Flags Over Texas and Goliath at Magic Mountain with the layout
This is my home park and I am certainly happy about that
That’s awesome.
Great America is mine too :D
i really wish they had a single rider line for every coaster or at least include raging bull and x flight. i went with my sister last friday and we went in the single rider line for goliath and max force and it was great
It would definitely help, but I get that they might be harder to implement on preexisting rides.
These rides all look really fun but I’ve never been here before. I’ve been to a couple with the first and my favorite one which is also my home park being magic mountain. I just want to know one thing. Is the Superman flying coaster like tatsu? I would be suprised if Tatsu is better since some people including me consider it one of the best flying coasters in america
Superman is great, but not as good as Tatsu. That said, few rides are as good as Tatsu.
@@ThemeParkAvenue Yep, pretty much what i thought. Tatsu is, for the most part, unmatched.
It's the only Six Flags park with no bad ride.
True
Btw I loved X-flight I rode it 3 times on a great day with no waits, its a top tier wing coaster
Demon?
@@CodyMemer as far as Corkscrews go, demon is not bad. It might be old, but there's worse.
Today im going to Six Flags Great America, but unfortunately it'll be rainy in the morning with some overcast
Any tips for what roller coasters will be open and all
I went on an overcast day, and that deterred crowds, so you may avoid lines today. I think many rides will run in rain, but Maxx Force will not, so you need to try to get on that when it’s not raining. Otherwise follow a similar order to the video suggestions.
@@ThemeParkAvenue Alrighty then. I've been on rides that had heavy overcast *coughs* Cedar Point *coughs*
And all the rides seemed to be going good, even Dragster
I think we will be alright, thanks for your help! You earned another sub
@@highoctanegames thank you! If you have any other questions during the day, reach out and I will reply as soon as I can.
@@ThemeParkAvenue alrighty but take your time, i know you have other responsibilities to do and all that so don't worry
Was just there Friday. Went on everything an it was all open. About 45 minutes wait for everything which wasn’t bad at all. Only ride we walk up to an got on was the demon. No wait time an got right in the front. X flight is badass, Goliath is badass, Superman and Batman. My son loved max force. That was his favorite ride.
Awesome! Those are all great rides (except Demon I guess).
My home park! My family goes about 10 times every summer. We love it.
There was a shooting today
@@juliodasilva2874 Holy crap. Just looked it up.
@@juliodasilva2874 I heard about it and that was quite frightening.
American Eagle has not raced for many, many years. 25 years ago it was a good coaster, but they haven’t done any up keep on it for the last 25 years. No paint, no grease on the track. They keep adding brakes in an effort to save the structure. Very sad!! It used to be so much fun. It needs the RMC treatment!! Fingers crossed 😊
I still find it pretty fun, but RMC would be unbeatable.
I went to holiday world in Indiana last year and one of the rides was closed because there was not just a deer but a buck in the track lol
Lol, that’s a crazy story.
SFGA is my home park and I enjoy it so much and I still haven't gotten on superman, joker and maxx force
My home park 💪🏽💯
A roll back on Maxx force wow💪🏽
Shhhhhhhh don't tell the single ride secret 🤣🤣🤣
I have literally neverrr seen Raging Bull run one train that's wild
Interesting day I had. They still had great dispatches.
This is my home park and tbh it’s underrated
Absolutely agreed. It doesn’t get much love but I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
I still enjoy the carousel went on it twice and hi five the worker there lol
I wonder when velocity became flash themed
The JL was so lame felt like a Disney world ride
Surprised about joker usually hear its down
Demon is one of my favs i do prefer smaller scale rides the blue bird and the cow one is plenty of thrill for me
Also pretty sure little dipper is in the kiddie land section which is a defunct park they moved parts of it to this park
Would like to hear more bits of the park like the teacups cant go wrong there
The Flash theme was from this year.
Sorry, Maxx Force is the best. I love the launch and the whole ride is just awesome. Its also smooth no matter where you ride. I love Bull in the back but in a row near or in the front it is actually rough for me, especially that rise up to the final break which VIOLENTLY janks my head back and forth. I dont feel that at all in the back. OK, you have a right to your opinion. I mean I do agree with which 4 coasters are the top 4 of the park. I would rank them Maxx Force, Bull, X-Flight, Goliath, although I am leaning towards Goliath being number 3.
I’m glad you love Maxx Force. I do think it’s great, but the length and some of the elements just didn’t really do anything for me.
@@ThemeParkAvenue Yeah length is definitely a shortcoming but I think it's the best 20 seconds I've ever been on a roller coaster. Lol
The reason American Eagle doesn’t run both trains anymore is because of issues they were having with the structure in the helix while both trains were running. They trade off the sides every year. Which is sad for me because the red side (which was open last year, but closed this year) is borderline ELITE with the airtime when it’s running hot. The Blue side’s first half is about as good as red, but the ride experience in the second half of blue is where the separation starts to appear. The second half of blue is kinda wack. But there’s a reason they haven’t torn this down or RMCed it yet…it’s 🔥
And AE is pretty good in terms of lines usually, but it also frequently will randomly have long lines. And especially during Fright Fest. It turns into one of the most popular rides during Fright Fest. One reason being how dope the night ride experience it is, but also because the line is so far away from the rest of the park (so, guests pretty much do whatever they want in line lol).
It’s funny you mention the near-miss foot chopper elements on Batman…I’ve hit my feet on the tips of trees on several occasions while riding Batman. Batman is BAE for me. It’s the ride that I marathon the most.
Finally, someone who agrees that viper is amazing and not a piece of trash
Viper has gotten a bit of a following recently, many like it more than me.
I went there as A kid late 70's early 80's
Awesome!
are you talking about bob olenjack at 5:40 ?
Actually, I think so because he mentioned riding Goliath at Great America thousands of times.
Do you know him personally?
@@ThemeParkAvenue I actually met him on goliath during his 2600th rides and i have him added on facebook
@@dakevin267 cool!
It seems to be a park that gets big crowds, but a vast majority of it is locals unlike a national tourist destination like Cedar Point or a Disney park.
Very true. There are definitely times to go when the crowds are lower but it can take a little luck (such as overcast).
And this is why raising the prices here is a bad idea. If I’m going to be honest the crowd here is kinda..cheap. So raising prices will lower the amount of people coming a lot
To be fair I was not thrilled that they converted Yankee harbor into DC universe and superman is part of Orleans place. Even when Shockwave was there, I never understood the theme to that monster of a coaster
I can see why the DC change is upsetting as it does remove an original area.
Sad to hear what happened to such a great park last night.
It is very unfortunate
This park loves their short coasters
They also love Raging Bull, Viper, and American Eagle.
If great America gets a giga, it’s game over
True. The lineup would be unstoppable.
they need one elite coaster
Cedar Fair would be shivering there timbers if this happens
@@mrbusinessman9688 good one
There is a height limit in Gurnee. So no Gigas :(
There are not many things worse in life than Whizzer being closed. Always my favorite ride when I used to live near by.
I can totally get that. It is a very fun ride.
“Sorry for being Michigan’s Adventrue today” I would have cried omg. It’s my home park and unfortunately it has no upkeep and it’s just…not up to standard like other cedar fair parks. It has definitely declined so much. Even the food there now is not good at all
That's a shame. I thought staff members did a great job and I was able to enjoy the park.
@@ThemeParkAvenue oh I mean upkeep from cedar fair themselves. Staff are fine there. They’re always nice! We got camp snoopy recently but other than that we don’t get much.
I worked the demon, whizzer, and raging bull
Cool!
Yea why didn’t u talk about the best airtime moment in the park
??? A relocated kids wooden coaster is worse than the literal record holding wooden ones? I'm shooketh.
I’m going there soon if it happens tho
My home park but I find the concession staff very inefficient
The best six flags park? Ya no lol I understand that is your opinion. Out of all six flags parks I’m taking magic mountain and great adventure over all of the rest. Especially magic mountain their coaster line up is god tier.
Those make up my top 3, and Great Adventure is probably egret objectively, but I had more fun at Great America.
Superman has 1 of the best inverted loops ever to me
Absolutely
I am biased. This is my home park since 1976 and Marriott’s Great America.
That’s awesome.
What day were you at the park?
Friday, July 1st.
@@ThemeParkAvenue Nice! I go once a week and was there on June 29th.
unless Six Flags decides to do some real major reworking on American eagle, it will never race again. it's just too old, that puts too much stress on the ride.
That’s fair. As is I enjoy the ride.
Goliath is my shit
I think by 2024 they might rmc the eagle
But once in awhile the make it go backwards
The layout of Viper might seem “unoriginal” because it is a mirror of the original Coney Island Cyclone.
I am aware, and that was what I was alluding to when I said that.
@@ThemeParkAvenue Ok, but if you knew that, I’d recommend saying that in your video to inform your viewers who might not know 👍

20 minutes for Raging Bull is FAST
We hit it pretty early. It got too an hour later on.
Best park yah right. I go there every week. But I do have to say it's getting better but not the best
SFGAm is a great park.... But in reality you cant compare SixFlags parks wiyh SFMM in the equation because it isng even close.
But even still Greaf Adv is still way better as well
You could randomly pick 3 or 4 coasters from SFMM and remove them and itd still be head and shoulders above the 2nd. They're are so many supporting coasters here that would be huge spotlight attractions at other parks.
What Magic Mountain has in coaster quality it lacks in maintenance and atmosphere. I also generally find the coasters there overrated but I can understand why so many call it the best.
Nothing beats magic mountain tho 😒👏🏻

This does lol

I'm from Chicago born and raised and this is not the best six flags. Six flags great adventure is the best, and they have the tallest coaster in the world. Not to mention they have an awesome super hero theme.
They are both awesome, and both have great superhero themes. I think they are fairly close in quality.
I definitely wouldn’t say it’s the best. It’s mid.
Six Flags Mid-America I guess
