Cedar Fair has some of the best roller coasters, so in this video I will rank every cedar fair roller coaster in a tier list. There are well over 100 roller coasters to discuss. Will you agree? No, but enjoy anyway.

I appreciate the respect you showed The Beast. For a unique, nearly 45 year old coaster, I know its been surpassed in sheer audaciousness...but for a kid from the area, who was 8 years old in 1979, I can't really explain how much that old coaster means to me. It really does mark a lot of significant times in my life.... I sincerely hope it's opened another 45....

I was the guy who actually made this tier list believe it or not.
..and first off, I'd like to apologize for the amateurish nature of it and how hard it is to see some of the names lol. Made this on a whim.
To answer a big question (to which the answer seemed obvious), this list is indeed old. I made this in 2021 which explains the inclusion of Wicked Twister, TTD, and the name "Avalanche". As for the Rebel Yell thing, I was still not over the name change at the time lol.
I'll probably update/remake this list someday to include images that are a lot easier to see or just use the digital versions of the logos instead.
Other than that, thank you for the publicity!

Fun fact: Kings Dominion has been running the fire effects on Back Lot recently, but unfortunately the helicopter is still just there.

I must have just gotten lucky with KD's Backlot Stunt Coaster. The helicopter and fire were both working on my ride a few weeks ago
Interesting! This is super surprising to me.
The helicopter? The fire was working last week and the time I rode it before at Halloween Haunt, but not the helicopter. Sadly they were running the fire effects on The Crypt just before closing it.
Great video! This kind of stuff is really interesting to me cuz my home park has always been Canada’s wonderland, so I have a soft spot. And personally, even tho I have never been on the three b&m’s, I have always been able to have a great time in the park. Coasters like vortex, backlot and dragon Frye have always been my middle of the road favourites (tho i can’t defend time warp or flight deck tho, there is reason they are always walk ons. Tho I do agree with many others that the park doesn’t really stack up compared to some of the top tier parks. Like I am literally writing this after visiting cedar point and yeah, it is the much better grander nicer park. With the waterfront views and overall better attractions, it is not contest. My favourite coasters (for someone who is the middle of the curve of rc) were iron dragon, corkscrew (cuz it is basically dragon Fyre) mine ride and the new wild mouse (cuz I am a sucker for mascot characters)
I just rode twisted Timbers for the first time yesterday and I was blown away. Out of my 98 credits, it's probably #4, just behind steel vengeance. It was 90 degrees, so it was hauling and my thighs were sore after 8 rides lol.
I only got 1 ride on i305, and it was in the back row, and I have to be honest, it wasn't as crazy as I remember it being from 2017. It's still a great intense ride, but it was kinda underwhelming to the point that I now consider skyrush the most intense coaster I've been on, at least from that 2018 marathon I had. I was going to get front row night ride, but there was a busted wheel right before, so I've never ridden i305 in the front, so I can't make that fair of a judgement.
Twisted Timbers is pretty awesome.
Great video! I enjoyed watching! I couldn't hardly tell what most of them were from the pictures honestly. You know more about those coasters than me though. Yeah most riders probably don't like Millennium Force as much as you. Marc from Coasterdash would definitely disagree with you about what you said about I 305. Chris from Airtime Thrills would definitely agree with what you said about I 305.

Mystic Timbers above Maverick is blasphemy
They’re basically right next to each other in my overall rankings but Mystic Timbers is more consistent.
Just rode both of them recently and as much as I love Mystic Timbers, Maverick is definitely better

Time Warp and Flight Deck below Minebuster is insane.
Is that unpopular? Time Warp and Flight Deck and awful and I would not re-ride them on another trip to the park.
@@ThemeParkAvenue I actually didn’t find Time Warp and Flight Deck as bad as people say, but Minebuster gave me such a bad headache I couldn’t even ride the 3 B&Ms again after it.
On both the backlots at KI and KD the fire effects were working.

(I'll give it another shake some day, but for now it's overrated in my mind)
I305 and twisted timbers would be S for me, but ive only been to the best cedar fair parks (kings dominion, kings island, cedar point, carowinds)

After visiting Cedar Point last week (Ive only been to CP, KD, and Knotts) my order is
1. Intimidator 305 (With a full train and when fully warmed up)
2. Steel Vengeance
3. Millenium Force (Front Row)
4. Maverick
5. Twisted Timbers
6. Ghostrider
7. Magnum (Almost as good as Ghostrider, its insane)
8. Xcelerator
9. Gatekeeper
10. Raptor

Oh that was a mistake. I definitely prefer Adventure Express. Some of the ordering in the middle tiers is rougher.
Oh no, I305 is my most anticipated to ride right now (considering the likelihood I can make it to this ride compared to some others in the next year or so) ...will have to check out the video on why you think it is over rated lol

I actually like corkscrew. I found it pretty smooth, no head banging for me as I kept my neck steady. I found it a bit smoother than maverick but I think mavericks wheels may have just been at the end of their service life
It’s not awful, but I don’t love it.
Leviathan is better than Millennium force. It is underrated on this list. Much faster and more airtime. Both should be S tier.
Both rides are underrated, but I think Millennium Force has a far superior sense of speed.
@@ThemeParkAvenue maybe because I've ridden superman at darien lake hundreds of times, the intamin 2wide doesn't scare me like Leviathan does. I'm still shaky getting on it after dozens of rides.

Afterburn considered one of the very best in B tier is laughable

A tier...Afterburn is a more intense roller coaster than both Gatekeeper and Intimadator(Carowinds) and is still butter smooth after over 20 years

I love the Beast, it's very unconventional and kind of hard to rank, but it's among the greats for sure.
Honestly I rode blue streak a month ago and it has deteriorated so much, sadly F tier now

Intimidator is the same as Diamondback and Behemoth.

I have discussed this before, but it is ultimately an underwhelming and surprisingly rough ride that is among the weakest Gerstlauer roller coasters.
