Just like the great roller coaster RUclipsrs always do, and because the Coaster Studios top 25 won’t be here for a while, here is a top 25 roller coasters list. I have ridden just under 300 roller coasters, so in this video I will highlight some of the best roller coasters in the world. From Cedar Point to Six Flags Magic Mountain, here is the top 25 roller coasters in the world 2022 (that I've ridden).

I rode the original Rattler and New Texas Giant was under construction at the time!
Steel eel was very rough and it Felt like I was gonna fall out every bump. Do not like that ride
El toro is getting a lot more retracking done than I originally thought. It should be significantly smoother next year.

@@ThemeParkAvenue huge amounts of the rides first drop, two camelbacks, the turnaround, the return trip, and the rolling thunder hill have been getting new track. Safe to say it should be damn near buttery on the first day.
Sit in the 2nd to last row for it to be a bit smoother, non wheel seat
Yo where's my Hersheypark representation. All I here is that when wildcat's revenge comes out, Hershey will have a top tier lineup, but I hear noone putting skyrush, stormrunner, or candymonium on their list. Hershey is pretty underrated considering their lineup and how much people actually talk about them.
Candymonium is really close to to the top 25, probably #26. Storm Runner is possibly top 50 and Skyrush just isn’t there for me. It is underrated because I think it’s overrated.
Iron Gwazi was great, did it last summer. Thought I would just try it once, but did it 3 times! Super smooth, super fast...that helps.
It is a spectacular ride.
We rode back in October on fall break. It was awesome! We rode it first thing when we got into BG and glad we did. It was broke down at the end of the day and we were a little sad we couldn’t ride again.

It was close, but I’m glad I got to talk about it.
I think it gets way too much attention. I got no airtime on it, even in the very back row. It’s become extremely overrated, and I don’t know why everyone seems to call it one of the best if not the very best

Mystic Timbers just misses the cut. Kingda Ka is a little farther down for me. I rode in the back and got rattled around, but it's still enjoyable overall.
I like your list as well. You’ve gotten around a bit too.
I also love New Texas Giant over Wicked Cyclone and I prefer the airtime over inversions. The original Texas Giant was brilliant it’s first 10 years of its life. It was a wild beast of a coaster.

In my personal opinion, Velocicoaster Is my favorite coaster of ALL TIME. The very fast movement on the second launch, the drop, and the mosasaurus roll just makes this ride absolute perfection. At first I was nervous on riding this, but now I feel like I could ride it every second I’m at universal. I even got the shirt which I have not regretted buying. If I had to rate this out of 10, It would break my scale. As one of this biggest Jurassic Park and World fans, I approve of this ride.
It is an awesome experience.

I love wicked cyclone in the fall this year it was hauling and amazing the drop was amazing like top 5 drops for me and it had killer airtime

It will. Virtually every section of the ride is getting retracking done to it.
Gotta get to Holiday World. All three woodies would be the best at any other park. Voyage gets all the praise and rightfully so, but Legend and Raven do the work, too! It especially makes sense if you consider the park’s narrative starting with Raven then Legend with Will Koch and his magnum opus Voyage.

Absolutely. I would love to go and would not be surprised if The Voyage made my top 3.
I agree about holiday world. I love a night ride on the beast but it cant touch a night ride on the Voyage. I do disagree with you about the legend. I honestly cant stand the second half as the laterals are not spread out and are all to one side. But the Raven is a really underrated coaster. That fourth drop at night is honestly terrifying because you cant see where the track goes

I’ve been to KD when I305 wasn’t running and it’s still better than KI with all rides running lmao,

I’ve rode about half of the Top 25 that you have on your list. We are hitting Cedar Point next summer and I’ve been wanting to ride Millennium Force since 2000. 😂
I hate we missed our chance to ride TTD, but oh well. I hear so much hype about SteVe and looking forward to it as well. I guess we’ll do 2 days at CP.

Twisted Colossus is a top 5 RMC regardless I’d it duels or not. Two first drops is heaven and the coaster duels more then people say. I live in Southern California so I ride it a lot and the enthusiasts that “visit” the park and get their couple rides on it don’t know anything about anything.
I haven't been on to many coasters, but I have been on some pretty great ones, so heres my top 14-15
13-Wildcat-isn't as bad as people say it is and it's not that rough to me.
12-lightning racers-not a bad gci racing coaster, but some elements are taken to slow
11-Space mountain-kind of underrated, but not really, (Note do NOT ride this with lights on it sucks)
10-Sooper dooper looper- should go in the brake run after the loop the rest is just does nothing.
9-Thunderbolt plus Comet-they both place the same in my rankings because I think they are equally as good of rides.
8-Green lantern- not bad as people say it is, it's not *that* rough for B&M standup. and good inversions.
7-Fahrenheight-the vertical chain lift still scares me, but the first drop is really good, but the rest of the ride is just pretty good.
6- Storm runner- really fun ride, the flying snake dive doesn't really pull many forces to me though.
5-Candymonium, better in the front then in the back for airtime.
4-Great bear- insane B&M inverted coaster, sad to only get one night ride on it but that was fire.
3-Two special- Wicked cyclone would be number 4, but when I was making the list I had a problem, so El toro would be number 3, and this could be called a 13 favorite coaster list.
2-Superman the ride (the one at Six flags New England) El toro is not number 2, because I didn't really think it was that "elite" but Superman if you get shut up about the restraints, it is one of the best coaster layouts ever.
1-Skyrush-yes this is my number one coaster, the restraints weren't bad on me to be honest, but I did kind of feel a bit of head jerking throughout the ride, which is very surprising, but the airtime is very strong, the first hill is amazing, and the speed is relentless.
Note-I know I included a lot of Hershey Park rides and Six flags' rides, but I haven't (yet) been to many parks, but I will be headed to cedar point hopefully this summer and may go to Nickelodeon Universe to.
Glad to see Superman the Ride so high up.

i think shivering timbers, american eagle, raptor, and rockin roller coaster need to be on this list personally.
I just rode Shivering Timbers and it might make the list. American Eagle and Raptor aren’t quite that high for me. Haven’t been on Rockin Roller Coaster.
Focus on the positive aspects of your top 25 instead of so much focus being on the negative aspects of each coaster. Save the negative for in depth coaster reviews. This is the list of your favorites. I’m not at all trying to make you feel bad because I enjoy your coaster videos. I’m just giving a bit of enthusiast to enthusiast advice

Actually, it’s not that bad. Seeing the Six Flags Parks, Busch Gardens, Kings Island, Cedar Point, and Carowinds was all this year and did not have a huge price tag.

Leviathan is longer than Orion. Also, where are all the top wood coasters like Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Boulderdash, Boardwalk Bullet, Thunderhead, etc. They should all be on this list. When coasterals run all out they are far better and more extreme than many of these.
I saw a video that timed the gigas from the top of their hill to the break run and Orion edged out Leviathan. Also, I have not ridden any of the wooden coasters you named.

Don't ever apologize for your coaster list, I always appreciate a list that isn't "the norm". For me personally I love Voyages layout- but it gives me a terrible headache, so I rank it lower than most, that would be an unpopular opinion but hey I prefer to think for myself and I can't tell you do as well!

Ka is definitely getting more respect lately, but for a while nobody ever seemed to consider it a great ride.

I never rode Dragster unfortunately but from what it looks like Ka is better. It’s taller faster and a final airtime hill TTD doesn’t have that
Ka isn't better at all, but el toro got a lot rougher this year. I never thought it was painful, even when I rode it a day before the accident. I called out of great adventure on the day of the accident too 😳

Totally fair, it’s a very intense ride.
Next time your at great adventure ride el Toro second back row so your not on any wheels. I agree it’s not smooth as it used to be. It used to be much better even a couple years ago. But sitting in that middle row on the car makes it MUCH MUCH better In my opinion

@@coasterknowledge1982 they haven't been taking the best care of it in these last few years. El toro had a perfect track record until the pandemic hit and great adventure couldn't maintain el toro as well as it should have.

I don't think I've heard you comment on Lightning Rod before. Have you gotten to ride it at any point? Obviously, your list is your opinion so if you've ridden it and just didn't think it deserved a spot that's your opinion and it is respectable. Same question for Pantheon.
I noticed Voyage isn't on the list and I almost want you give you credit. I find it to be the most overrated coaster and it feels refreshing to see it not included on the list.
I have not ridden Lightning Rod nor the Voyage. I don’t deserve credit for the Voyage ranking sadly because it could rank highly for me. Maybe I’ll find out one day.

You need to sit on a non-wheel seat on El Toro instead of the very front or back row. It’s smoother.
I have done Row 17, and I still found it much rougher than the front.
When did you ride Wicked Cyclone?
Post-Covid Wicked Cyclone is a different animal than pre-Covid Wicked Cyclone

@@ThemeParkAvenue They’re definitely two of the best woodies. My preference for RFII is a bit of a hot take, but I did find it to be a bit more enjoyable. My thoughts on Voyage are somewhat similar to your thoughts on El Toro. I think that Voyage has a great layout, but I found it to be brutally rough.
How?? HOW could you omit X2 and Intimidator 305? This is nuts
I’m riding I305 again this week, maybe things will change. Those rides as they stand now are overhyped in my eyes.
I think that the Igwazi is not better than Zadra but they're both better than SteVe. SteVe is overrated becouse of airtime and length but if you was on Zadra or Igwazi you should know that airtime and length doesn't mean everything.

@@ThemeParkAvenue Yeah it's maybe becouse of I'm from Europe but it's still my favorite coaster. I think that when Igwazi opened mostly American's started to say that Igwazi and SteVe are both better but most of them haven't even ridden Zadra. So it looks like a bit underrated compared to how people's rate Igwazi better than Zadra but it's not it only haves a little bit better drop and it have more unique elements but anything else Zadra haves better, airtime is almost the same on both depends on the row you're in

Iron gwazi does look a tad over rated. Not saying it looks bad or anything but not as good as I thought it would. Btw pls don’t take this as bashing your opinion I just think it wouldn’t be as good as SteVe in my opinion
For me it’s definitely it overrated, but can see a case for it.

I haven’t even ridden 25 coasters. I can barely hit 25 rides if I include flat rides and dark rides…….
All I've been to is my home park six flags New England so I have 11 coasters. Wicked cyclone and superman are really good though
@@TheSoccerStar the best I got is railblazer. Gold striker and Medusa are overrated. Not bad at all, just overrated. I went to discovery kingdom before rmc debuted their first coaster….. it’s been a little while.

While I have not ridden Alpengeist, I don’t think it would have made the list since even my favorite inverts in Montu and Banshee didn’t make the cut.

I have been on roller coasters on both of those continents (along with Australia), but the ones I rode didn’t make the cut. So the list is based on all coasters in the world, even if the choices are only in two countries.

Mystic Timbers is by far the most overrated roller coaster of all time.
I’ve heard this so much that I think it’s now underrated.
