Batwing is such a great coaster. It’s basically as smooth as a b&m flyer. Wayyyy too much hate for these rides
Batwing is ALWAYS AWESOME!!
And NO local EVER rides those old ass wooden jack hammers called a coaster...unless you want a migran and fracture jaw!!
Sarah’s screaming and raspy commentary on Batwing was one of the greatest coaster studios moments I’ve seen in a long time 😂

As a woman, who works in healthcare, and whose home Six Flags park is Six Flags America, I was positively howling at Sarah‘s comment on Batwing about your chest getting squished and feeling like a mammogram, because she’s absolutely right! I still somehow enjoy Batwing though 😂😂
What do you do in terms of healthcare? Does it have to do with the rides or is it just something else? Sorry if I sounds weird but iv always been interesting in how the forces on rides affect the human body and didn't know if work with that.

The reason for Superman having a weird layout is the ride was designed for Darien lake to go around the lakes, SFNE opened a year after DL’s in 2000. The straight track on DL’s goes over the water

August seems really cool. Bathing was really cool and crazy long line, but the first time for me I felt like I had to press my body back from the restraint to the top of the train and I was exhausted lol
your bath has restraints?! lol but yes it is a ride-defensive style ride

Yes but u can get a summer pass for 50 dollars, and that’s unlimited visit until Labor Day.
To put into perspective Dollywoods admission is $85
$35 if booked online
The price tolls for this park have always been higher than they have any right to be, which is why online tickets and season passes are so commonly bought instead.
Come to Georgia, ours is $95 for a single day adult pass.
Seems like Sarah’s new least favorite coaster is Batwing based off that POV

I went there in early april at the end of a trip where i visited Dollywood, Carowinds, Kings Dominion, and Bush Gardens Williamsburg. I rode everything once (except mind eraser that I couldn't find and ragen Cajun that was closed), rode roar again and then rode the subway into DC because that was more fun than any of those rollercoasters

Finally some positive feedback for Six Flags America
I have to revisit SFA because Roar and Superman were both down in 2017.
Gives me motivation to do a SFA/KD trip one day, get em' both done!

First time on batwing a few weeks ago and got stuck on the lay back position for 40 minutes. It was an experience that was fun and also painful
It's a very underrated park. The operations could use some work but the lineup is pretty solid!
I have enjoyed my 2 visits at this park. Firebird is the worst thing of all time, but I can just skip it. Even with a couple bad rides, the good ones more than make up for it. I totally love Batwing! And Superman Ride of Steel is the most underrated coaster ever. Lines never seem long here. Ragin Cajun has operated a grand total of 10 minutes over 3 days that I've been there, but at least I got on it during those 10 minutes. The most elusive coaster credit of my entire life.
I grew up going to this park even before it was Six Flags (Adventure World). While I had some firsts at this park, we still made the hour longer trip to go to Kings Dominion. I hope SF adds more to it down the line 🤷🏻♂️ One of the only redeeming things about this park is Roar for sure. Such a good woodie.
I have one thing to say about Batwing...."NO THANK YOU". I won't go on that one! 😳😱

We had an irrational love for Wild One when we went a few years ago, easily one of the best of the old-school woodies I've been on, even if that backseat felt like it was trying to kill us at some points (in a good way). I know I'm in the minority here, but I even liked Batwing better than some B&M flyers (but as I am not a woman, I can't comment to Sarah's pain! But she made some comedy gold in that commentary - I do remember hating the sun in my eyes for sure).
It’s even cooler that it is one of the oldest of them still around, and the fact that it still runs as well as it does at a park, that barely ever gives their coasters attention, is incredible.

This is literally my home park and batwing has been open 1 out of the 18 times I have been there
it looks like you can get dangerously close to the track and wheels on Batwing 😳 August’s hands look like they’re inches away from disaster. I also can’t help but envision a Final Destination scenario with someone who has long hair getting caught in the wheels 🙈
Your head is actually about 2.5 feet above the wheels when in the prone position so its not likely your hand would touch the wheels. It looks closer in the video than it is in real life, however, your concern about long hair could be valid if the persons hair is really long and they are on an outer seat. That would be a swift scalping if ever there was one. Ouch!
After moving further south in my state, i count SFA as my home park. I agree SFA has been looking amazing since 2006 when i first went. I used to compare it to SFGA and was like this park is trash. But i am happy they are approving. If i had a hotel, i would stay 3 days and 2 nights. 1 day water park with my season pass and next day Rollercoaster. Seems like a plan for myself since im out of state.

As I've mentioned before, for better or worse; Six Flags America is my home park.
Superman: Ride of Steel is a must do every time I go as well as Wild One/WW:LOT and Harley Quinn: Spinsanity.
I have no idea why they keep Mind Eraser, but I've read that among SLC's; Kong at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and T3 at Kentucky Kingdom are even worse!
And I respect the hell out of the maintenance crew to keep Batwing going, but at some point without replacement parts, they're going to say .... nah son.
The way you get to start enjoying Firebird is you have a global pandemic where no other parks nearby are open, and ride it enough times you just know what to do. I think I've lost that ability though now. Also, row 5 not 1 or 6.
Me and my friend just saw this video and now we are debating if batwing’s lift hill is louder than jersey devil 🤣🤣🤣
Batwing if definitely louder that Shet is like a m60 machine gun
@@Tzartle_The_Kaiju fair enough lol. Everytime I went on jersey devil it was so loud I couldn't hear my own thoughts. I think playing heavy metal at full blast will damage my hearing less 🤣🤣🤣

Pro tip: For a smooth ride on Firebird you actually need to ride in the back

Imagine if they put VR on Mind Eraser and it featured a one-second delay.
I acutally think Mind Eraser isn't rough if you go in the front row. It's a bummer when they make a coaster floorless. It's almost always much worse or much more boring. I wish parks kept the decent stand up coasters. At least Carowinds and SFOG have stand up coasters near me.

I’m glad you guys had a good time. I know my home park isn’t much by any means, but it can be a fun time, and this at least gives me the desire to give it one more try.
I’m just hoping we’re not looking at the same lineup of rides another decade from now. This park is already so far behind.

I try to let everybody know that Wing is not a good ride. It's awkward it's uncomfortable and the forces are just weird
Call me weird but I actually prefer Bat Wing at SFA over Super Man: Ultimate Flight at Great Adventure.
I had very low expectations for SFA, but for many reasons it still managed to disappoint me. The park was nice enough looking and they had rollercoasters there though.
That park is such a dumpster fire and the coasters are so poor, superman seems good.

I was wondering how you contact parks for permission to film on rides? I know Six Flags doesn’t allow GoPro wrist or chest mounts on rides like SeaWorld does, and you have used GoPros on some of your recent videos.
