Hey everyone, today I'm bringing you a gentle yoga class which can be done either in bed or on your yoga mat. This is a perfect sequence to do either in the morning to wake up or before going to bed at night.
These poses are beginner friendly and even though they are all done sitting down, we'll be able to stretch and target every area of the body. Poses don't need to be complicated in order to be effective!
If you have limited mobility issues or just feel like taking it easy today, this is the perfect 30 minute yoga class for you. Suitable for all levels and no props are required. If you're doing this in bed you can always use your blankets and pillows for extra comfort.
I'll take you through gentle seated yoga poses like head to knee, seated pigeon, deer pose and butterfly.

This is a perfect bedtime routine when you’re tired and don’t want to stand or overload your wrists (you can even do the traditional pigeon pose rather than the variation here which is more challenging for wrists). Loved this class, although I'd consider myself "advanced" classes like these really bring me inner peace and ground me so well! It's absolutely not just for beginners, although I could totally see myself introducing my mom to this type of classes

I also love the gentler and beginner practices despite being a more technically advanced practicioner! I find more of a mental stretch in the slower practices, not a challenge per se, but like a mental massage with moving my body through simple poses where I can get very intimate with the sensations. It's like meditation.

Have you created an end of day or a mid-day short series to address "teleworking syndrome"? Stuck at the desk and getting stiff neck/shoulders/wrists/hips, etc etc? I try to head out for walks but return to the home office and same old same old static position. Thanks so much for all these videos, I very much support a local girl doing great work to help us:-)

My arms aren’t long enough to reach the floor for the staff pose. 😂 I can only touch the floor with my fingers.
Me too! Maybe it’s something stretching will help with or maybe it’s just how my skeleton is. I think it’s just getting that opposing force to lift up that’s important tho!

This was perfect, and perfect timing! I am on a long road trip in my little camper van, and can't always get outside to do your yoga classes. This evening, after a long day driving, I saw this, and could do it on the small floor space inside my van! Wow does my body thank you!
Thank you, Kassandra. After a hard week in my job and tough workouts, I’m exhausted but still wanted to get a good stretch without a lot of movement. When I did the body scan in the end, a lot was released. This is so perfect.

Im happy to find this. I have sensitive knees so im really having a hard time with poses that require you to kneel. Also, I like that you always remind us to relax our jaws and necks.
