Join me in this 30 minute slow flow yoga class which will help improve flexibility and mobility throughout your entire body. We'll really emphasize stretching out your hips and hamstrings while also incorporating some backbending poses. This is an intermediate level yoga class with no props required.
While we go through this sequence, remember to breathe deeply and do your best to relax. We want this to be soothing for our nervous system so that we can relieve tension and stretch deeply. Only go as deep into a pose as is comfortable for you, there is no need to push.
We'll go through poses like puppy, lizard, belly butterfly, cow face pose, low lunge and shoulderstand. This is truly a full body head to toe flexibility yoga class. Enjoy!

Ha yes I felt the same way- started a yoga class in a crowded hall just before Covid lockdown but hated the closeness of others, people turning up late😬getting up during shavasana etc . Was so relieved when it had to stop. Came across Kassandra soon after & just carried on at home as love her classes🙏😊
Yes, I never thought I would be capable of doing yoga. I thought it was something difficult and not suitable for me. I wasn't that flexible because I had always hated stretching, but now I love flexibility things and it's not easy to increase flexibility after a certain point. I started to learn yoga from RUclips during Covid19 in the summer 2020 and have continued since. I still don't see myself going into yoga classes, because they are expensive and I like my personal, private yoga time in the comfort of my home. Yoga with Kassandra is my go-to yoga channel and I do yoga almost every day. This channel also helped me to progress in my practice a lot. The time of the practice doesn't need to be long, 10 min is enough.

OMG!! I nailed the wheel pose no problema! I'm an older guy and have always really struggled with that pose but thanks to doing your classes regularly over the years my flexibility has really improved! Love the 30min classes too!
THank you, Kassandra! I've done 3 videos in 3 days now. Yoga is very different now than it was when I weight 25lb less! These yoga sessions have put a cold stop to the neuropathy and carpal tunnel I've had for a few years now.

Amazing, thank you. After spending hours in front of the computer shifting and shifting in my chair, kneeling on the floor and getting tighter and sorer, this routine took the pain away. I thought I had found my favorite yoga channels but after trying out one of Kassandra's videos...then another...and another....wow. I didn't know yoga could truly FEEL this good. I used to be really hard on myself about 'rest' days that didn't involve cardio or strength, but now I'm finding they truly make all the difference. Thanks Kassandra! 😌

Cow face pose is usually a challenge for me to get into from a seated position. My right knee just doesn't like it. Getting into cow face from low lunge in this practice today gave me a greater level of success at stacking my knees. I was quite excited by the difference. Thank you for a great practice. I'll utilize this modification for my future cow face poses as I love the hip stretching this pose offers.

As a male in my 20s it can be intimidating trying to get into yoga, but I have been doing your videos for months now and really appreciate them. Especially the diversity in the types of videos you always have the session I need.
This one was wonderful! I do yoga with one of your videos each morning, and I'm glad for the variety in times (since sometimes 30 minutes feels like too much, or 10 feels like too little). I'm just getting over my second bout of COVID, so I'm keeping myself moving (as healthily and not pushing) as I can so I don't get bad lethargy, and this definitely helped wake me up for the day ahead!

Exactly what I needed this morning! Even been dealing with shin splints and haven’t been able to run, so I’m trying to rebuild strength and flexibility. This was a perfect flow as I didn’t realize how tight my hips had become over the winter break. ❤

I do yoga in spurts and always go to you because you explain each tiny thing about how you should get into the pose or feel or do to get the stretch. And I love that it is peaceful - no music - just you and maybe a sweet cat. You talk clearly and you are consistent. Thank you so much.

Thanks for a really nice session! I have tight hips and I learned a lot today. I don't remember ever doing the belly butterfly before, which was great! Also, I've never been able to do the cow face pose, but I really like the variation you taught today of starting on hands and knees and moving back into it. I feel like now I know a couple of ways I can gently work on my hip flexibility! I appreciate it!

Thanks for this great class. I love the way you always remind us that are bodies are different so no need to push to achieve what your body can't do. Since having knee surgery I can sometimes feel disheartened that some poses are now out of reach. This reminder just makes me choose another way around :)

Oh. My. Gosh. I've had a spot on my back for the last two and a half months making it so difficult to lay flat on my back. The last pose where we twisted just stretched out that spot so well the relief was instantaneous. Almost brought me to tears. Thank you!!
Thank you for this relaxing stretching yoga! After a full day of snowboarding and activities yesterday, this is just what I needed in the morning to help loosen up and recover! I added pigeon pose and deep squat to finish out.
