  • Taylormade M6 vs Callaway Epic Flash... Shot Tracer On Course Test. In 2019 we have seen the launch of some incredible technology in the golfing world. Taylormade have released the M5 and M6 drivers whilst Callaway have released the Epic Flash Drivers. In this video I head to the golf course and use shot tracer to show you which driver hits more fairways, which driver is the longest, which one I prefer and maybe even which driver you should spend you money on! Is one the perfect driver for high handicaps? Maybe they are both great for beginners or tour pros?Let’s do it... and let’s do it now.

So much to say here! This video left me with a lot of thoughts/questions! That’s the mark of a great video, I think!
    1) I’m a big fan of the way you go about club testing! A lot of guys on RUclips do either launch monitor or on course but not both. Or they try to jam everything into one video. No one else does as deep a dive into every aspect of all the new gear as you do. Not by a long shot.
2). I would love to continue seeing a little bit of everything! It really helps my decision making to see everything you do. Those of us who have been watching you all year know your game well enough that we can take a lot of useful info out of them.
    3) interesting that you had a bit of wind and rain to deal with today. There was a definite difference in performance between these clubs for you. This is why on course testing is so important!
    4) Seems to me that the M6 is a much better driver than the M4 was. I could actually see you gaming the M6. There is no way you would have ever gamed the M4!
I love this time of year! Can’t wait to see what you do next!

I agree both in studio and on course for the amount of money clubs cost these days. Appreciate the reviews and time it takes to make these, and one day I’ll make up my mind. Like you said there’s so many great clubs out there now, and my head is spinning!

Tried both of these drivers and ,for me , the Epic Flash works better. I ended up with the Calloway after being fitted for both. Only one had consistent dispersion. Both had 12 degree loft, regular shaft and grip, and set up with a draw bias. I am not going to tinker with the setting. Will be out on the course June 18 2019 weather permitting. Cannot wait to see if I can lower my handicap from the miserable 29+ back to an 18 before the end of the year. I know this video is older but I did not see it until today. Thanks for all the reviews and other content. Keep it up!! Cheers!!!!!!

So until yesterday, I was a committed Callaway user. I was in the market to upgrade my ancient driver and so I went for a fitting to compare the new G410, Epic, M5 and M6. On all counts, stats, feel and forgiveness, the M6 shone above the rest - which surprised me as I was expecting to come home with the Epic. Just completed my first round with the M6 in the bag. I am a 22 handicap player, but was getting up to 30 yards further than I have come to expect from my old Callaway. Playing partners were impressed (but not as much as I was). Can't wait for round 2 on Friday. I think the M6 2019 might just be about to become a legendary driver.

Enjoyed this review. Love the on course test, but it's difficult to get the same swing, same line same wind to get an accurate comparison. I'm. Looking at a new driver this year, and usually am a Callaway guy, but these reviews are swaying me to try TM.
